There is a difference between traffic and conversion.

Nairaland is guaranteed to give you traffic (by sending 500 Garri posters and a few serious people your way).

The likelihood that one single garri poster will pay for your service is zero(zero conversion, at least 500 pageviews).
The likelihood that the few serious ones will patronize you is there but really will you be in profit after paying 60k to get them 20 people to buy a product of 5000 where you profit on the product is 3000 Naira?

So really when one looks at the quality of threads and comments that hit the frontpage, one has to think well about what to really spend 60k per month on.

The CSS.
That class "card" should have a fixed width that's not more than half the width of the container div, it should also have a "float:left" attribute so that you can have 2 columns.
The container width should not be equal to or less than 3 times the width of the class "card" if not you will be pulling up data in 3 columns instead of 2.

While host service providers and datacenters cannot monitor all that is hosted they have an abuse department to handle abuse reports. A good host service provider will not ignore abuse reports being sent regarding a site hosted in its network. All you guys are coming up with are speculations (including that newspaper) and I suggest it all stops until the right people are ready to tell you what's up.

That's serious. You don't need to switch host just because of this. Its a mistake you made, just don't make the same mistake again. Also, you should run regular backups of your site using the cPanel backup utility.

It seems to me Syskay does not offer backup services (according to the TOS), that's a really sad discovery.

Some threads are not worth a pin and people wonder why they don't get responses even after several views on a thread. Before I reply a thread I check the OP's history. There are some posters threads that will never get a reply from me even if I could be of help. You sef just made yourself one (not like you should be bothered, what do I know?).

You may choose not to reinstall it if you will be losing a lot.

Move the entire contents of your "wp" folder to the root of your site (one step backward), go to your wordpress configuration file and modify the site url/path attribute to tbe pointing to the new location. This is either done in a configuration file or in your site's database under the configuration/settings table. The last time I did this was last week but I don't keep the details in my head.

Well if the domain has expired already, you're right there's no immediate solution to that except you hack Syskay's domain management account (no do am o, I no follow :-P )

If the domain has expired and the WHOIS expiration date is showing a date in the past you can just give the domain some 4 months (lol) and its back into the open market. That's a far fetched solution as I don't think Syskay will be down for that long.
