WebmastersRe: Why Give Us Ebay When We Dont Have Paypal? by DualCore1: 7:22pm On Dec 02, 2011
Justwise, just leave the matter. . . let everyone live happily and in peace. If he claims he uses Paypal from Nigeria. . . take it as his claims. Nothing more. I use my bank/card/address verified US paypal and ebay accounts from Nigeria daily and its 100% legal. . . so he may have a point. If its not one that doesn't seem feasible to you, just leave am. Make we no fight.

omo9ja1:
ebay and paypal are not same company
Ogaga4Luv:
You are right my dear. . . they're are not same Company but i think some things need to be fixed well . like everyone know ebay is one big community for online shopping worldwide but their only option of payment is via paypal which i believe would not favor everyone or nation (s) .  Paypal is not the only means of money transaction take for example there are some countries that doesn't use Paypal? Mastercard and some others . smiley
Some times the kinda confidence you people put up on Nairaland when saying things you know less than half about. . . makes me wonder.

Please note:
1. Paypal is owned by Ebay Inc (Google it!)
2. Paypal is not the only payment method available on Ebay. Merchants on Ebay may choose to accept Credit Cards if they want. (Google it!)

Dude tries a lame attempt to hit a site with lame botnets, fails by locking himself and his botnets out of the site and thinks he locked the site out of the internet? You gotta give it up for ignorance at its peak.
WebmastersRe: Script To Upload Form And Fetch Dynamic Content @ Once by DualCore1: 8:43am On Dec 01, 2011
Your explanation isn't very clear.

Run your DB query then header() to where you want to go to adding your dynamic content as GET.

OR

AJAX your query to the server and use POST for your xmlhttprequest to where you want to go to

OR

cURL your query and work with the results returned to the server.

I really cannot be exact cuz its not clear what you are trying to do exactly.

I've been noticing it since yesterday. Yesterday it was directing me to google.co.uk. Today it's taking me to google.com. Why must anything Nigerian have K- leg.
At least Internetvisa is Nigerian and it doesn't have K legs.  tongue

Google.com.ng is fine from my end, as of the time of my posting.
I havn't taken out time to notice what "version" of Google serves my search results. . . as far as its English.

Contact Slyr0x on how to drop "breaking news" like bomb.
He should be able to help with your communicative skills too.

Then when your "DDOS" is painlessly mitigated, contact the real "cyber activists" on how to unleash protests on sites for any good course.

PhonesRe: Help! How Do I Change My 2go Profile Location. by DualCore1: 6:52am On Nov 25, 2011
Any text you send to 32120 has to be from the number registered with your 2go account else it won't work. Think about it, you get a new sim, install 2go, goto your messages and compose "forgot password" to 32120. . . how do you think 2go will receive the text from tht new number and know what username it is for when its not registered to any username?

To change your info go to wap.2go.co.za, under help you will see how to change your profile from their web page. Changes can be made just once.

thompsob:
will this be enough for me to develop a school portal, generate access pins and manage the portal without consulting you when i have a problems?
Will this be enough? Yes Sir!  cool

Will you run into problems as you learn? Ofcourse, that's guaranteed.

What should I do when I run into problems? Run away and don't look back o!!  tongue
Ok, don't run! When you run into problems, we are here and Google is there!  wink

Here's a tested pathway of learning

Phase 1
xHtml + CSS + Javascript + jQuery (or any other Javascript library)

Phase 2
PHP + MySQL + XML + AJAX

My strong recommendation: Leave those web design "tools" that present themselves in the form of Dreamweaver, Frontpage, easy site builders and so on. Remember this isn't a rule, its just my recommendation.

WebmastersRe: Why Give Us Ebay When We Dont Have Paypal? by DualCore1: 6:37pm On Nov 24, 2011
Was thinking (still thinking) of creating an "ebay nigeria" kinda service. Where users choose what they want on ebay.com, they pay and its delivered to there doorstep via DHL or FEDEX in a few days. . . I know there are many out there offering something similar but in this one users can bid for items on ebay. Just one problem: Nigerian Customs.
I have noticed when I buy plenty of a given item on ebay the Nigerian Customs charges some (miscalculated) duty on it. When its one of several items they may not charge any duty. Its not really fixed how those guys operate.

Would appreciate any ideas from anyone who really knows how the Nigerian Customs operates as per imports.
WebmastersRe: Review This Work And Give Commends : Thanks by DualCore1: 1:41pm On Nov 24, 2011
Your entire generation can't shut me up so don't start,  You don't want people to talk? Don't put it online.

Its clear you know little in this field and are not ready to learn. You know you haven't developed a site to a considerable extent, why put it up for review? Someone points out your incompetence and offers advice, you say you haven't finished. What an excuse for incompetence (Very typical here).

If you don't think you were foolish, why have you gone to edit your first post removing the link to the site?

Well, the site in question is http://www.credofarms.com/
"Website hosting and design by LoleAfrica Inc"

Now look at http://www.loleafrica.com/
That site is in Live mode and is as dead as your credofarms.
There are 31 anchor tags on the homepage alone and only 4 actually point to somewhere that isn't dead.

Your defense? You havn't finished that one too abi? Try finishing some things in your life, if you don't know how to. . . learn.

WebmastersRe: I Want To Learn Web Designing! by DualCore1: 8:08am On Nov 24, 2011
Your teacher: w3schools.com
Tools Needed: Notepad++, Firefox Browser, WAMP and a brain.
Master these tools cuz they may be ALL you will ever need for life.

If you jack the entire w3schools.com and you still have no clues, there is a problem somewhere. . . a problem none but yourself can solve. When you have solved that problem, re-jack w3schools.com (its the alma mata for most devs) grin

The road to problems isn't far from you when you start paying anyone to learn things like this. Google has put it right under your noses, go get it!
WebmastersRe: Review This Work And Give Commends : Thanks by DualCore1: 8:00am On Nov 24, 2011
The guy has offered his review as requested by you. You go into defense mode wanting to taye taiwo the guy. Its very typical anyway of those who ask for reviews here that's why I don't even bother.
ProgrammingRe: Female Programmers Stand Up And Be Counted by DualCore1: 6:20am On Nov 22, 2011
Programming has nothing to do with gender. A dog will write codes if it has the passion.

@widesmile,
When you ask for a review please ask for it with the hope of learning from it and improving. If someone says your site is crap, that's not being unfriendly. Only a true friend will tell you your work is crap if it really is.

thanks for your reply, i really need a similar design to badoo.com with facebook apps and other features
Really, what next? Stop confusing people and stop wasting their time.
Leave all the existing sites alone and give a very detailed description of all you want on your site so those who are interested will give you a quote based on your requirements.

WebmastersRe: Mobile Browsing Overtakes Desktop Browsing In Nigeria by DualCore1: 12:00pm On Nov 17, 2011
Thats a faulty guess. Theres nothing i do on my laptop that i cant do on my galaxy tablet (from web development, technical support to linux server administration). When you say people cannot pay for a desktop connection, isnt it the same bundles we run on both mobile and pc? Blackberry asside.

WebmastersRe: StayHooked To Web4africa, Another Great Hosting Service Company In Nigeria by DualCore1: 7:54pm On Nov 16, 2011
You may want to get this thread recycled by a Moderator or the Admin. In a bid to gather spilled milk see the mess you have made. Topic of first post - Positive; topic of other posts after is - negative; first post (edited) - positive; your second post-negative; people's quotes - negative.

Your edited first post just make the other contributors to this thread look utterly senseless with their responses.

That's not what we do in forums dude. Its no wonder high profiled boards don't allow you edit a post 15 minutes after its initial posting.

This is not bad news. Move with the trend. People who are in business and mean business move with consumer trends. It will only be bad news for you if you do not know how to carry consumers along.
