Slyr0x:Dude, there's this babe I see at the bar but whenever I come out of the pool to chyke her she vanishes. She's dark, tall, smiles a lot, long hair. Can you help me with her details? ![]() |
cheapautos:When I see 20 more clients like you, I will begin to show interest in people in this country and their web development needs. |
Every site should have a "terms of usage" or "terms of service". Its best to have a footer too. That's traditionally where those things go |

This won't work for me. It's just going to make me very busy yet not productive. I however do on-the-fly editing of an application if it cannot wait for me to get to my workstation. But full coding? Na! I can imagine the frustration with typing things like < ? { } $ *. |
WebSurfer:Nothing really, nothing as special as your not reading up before making off-course posts: ![]() |
You guys are sure the up-to-date cost is 150k? Someone told me last year he paid 75k for this. |
Why don't you want to put it on its own site like drupal and the rest? |

babaearly:Typically Nigerian mindset! You leave matter wey dey ground, wan turn this one to "who you be" war. Its no wonder you say: babaearly:I am proudly not Nigerian. I just own their Passport (which is internationally worthless) and I notice Nigeria is sharing same longitude and latitude with me and it just so happens Nigeria also shares same timezone with me ![]() |
I blame this on our Nigerian clientbase who don't know what they want. How will I be in my right frame of business mind and you bring a site that will do more harm than good and I accept to put it online as the online representative of my business? We are taking clients in this country for a ride because we know they don't know what they want and anything we say is a green. If we are not forced to sit up, we will prefer to sit in the 10k-per-crap-site zone when our mates left us and are in 2012 while we remain in 2002, amazingly content with ourselves. This same yemlat has 2 web hosting sites that are embarrassingly sitting comfortably in the year 2002. I specifically cannot talk about those sites and how bad they are and una know why. I urge every developer to reach out to freelancing sites to get challenging jobs, jobs that will make you learn, Google, read, explore, cry, get frustrated, be determined, get the job done, get paid what you are worth and so much more. |

No one asked you for something better and you are not in any position to tell if your service is better, that's a position for your clients and up until now I do not see anyone telling me or anyone else here about your service being good, talk less of being better. Restrict your adverts to the threads you have created for it, don't jump into all threads with the webhosting tag and hijack it. You kill the quality of this board, please. These days I see a thread that has to do with webhosting, I just look at the last poster and I see it's one of the regular spammers here (not bots) and I don't bother wasting time checking the thread cuz I know its going to be an advert. I will not take part in making an issue out of this, if this doesn't make sense to you kindly ignore and pass along to what makes sense to you. |
If you guys don't have the info the poster needs there is no harm in passing by. All of you should stop seeing every thread with a "webhosting" tag as an opportunity to copy-paste one of your ads, its immature. If you are good, you are good. You won't even need to make any noise about it. |
Slyr0x:Then where are the visitors from ![]() |
platinumricky:The way some of una take know motto. . . ![]() |
pc guru:Bro chill, when you see thing like this. . . know we hit "homepage". Just as here be our house, they have a house too so its safe to say dem know themselves from house. |
Slyr0x:Who go suffer? NLC boss? The dogs deny you of your GF, mojo no dey? It'll only be until they're tired and they do tire out quick. Its simple, if these dudes do not make targeted attacks at the individuals, the masses (who they supposedly fight for) suffer the most. What's the use of going to war to disable 20 of your own men and 1 enemy, all with one strike from you? |
I understand their plight but this is not the US, the targets do not have anything invested in those sites. You want to get at this people, ha.ck their credit cards and bank accounts (obviously you cant pull that on your own, all u know is ddos and deface. . . call ur granpa anonnymous) and donate to charitable organizations that accept credit cards. |
bouzymill:Hehehehehe |
You can do this in PHP using either cURL or AJAX. That way the call to the SMS gateway happens behind the user. |
This information is not verifiable. The Facebook widget in Arabic (or whatever language that is) makes it all the more spooky. |
Another (perhaps better) way to skin the cat: Rather than import/use 2 images, you could save a few bytes by using a sprite and positioning it appropriately when you hover by using CSS's background-position property
The example I gave above uses one image, not 2.I have bolded some part of the code to show the positioning. |
The whole idea it to take advantage of CSS's "hover" and background positioning. Steps 1. Create the button, duplicate the button and place it above the first one created and darken it or add any other effect you want to add to it as that will be the image that will be show on mouseover. 2. Save the button is a convinient place. 3. Go over and write the html and CSS as shown below. <style> #login_button {background:url(login_button.jpg) no-repeat bottom; height:56px; width:144px;display:block;} #login_button:hover{background:url(login_button.jpg) no-repeat top; height:56px; width:144px;display:block;} </style> <a href="#" id="login_button"></a> A demo of the exact code can be seen here: http://sawyerrken.net/demo/simple_hover.html The login button image used is attached.

Things like this :http://www.greenexchanger.greenmousetech.com/images/rate.jpg Should be done in html and css, not graphics. Except it is entirely necessary to do otherwise, present all text as text not graphics. The hide-on-click feature for the textfields in the sign in area is does not work as intended always. Sometime I click and the "enter ur email" message does not hide. Then, your sign in form only requires the person's username and email, all in clear text? What is the process of authentication? Your rollover button technique could be better, I will create a little tutorial on simple rollover buttons with pure html and css. Your site is aligned to the left of my browser, should be centered. |
