I have this my uncle in the UK he gave me an invitation letter for a visit visa some years back which I was refused. Now I’m about to apply for student visa, I’m the section where they ask do you have a family member member in the Uk should I tick yes?
We haven’t been in good terms now for like 6years.
Also, if I tick yes more information will be ask about him which I don’t know. What can you advise me to do at this situation

What @Giselle237 is trying to say is that if you read through the thread (Ist page) you will get your answer to this particular question and won't bother about hearsays.

If you need a direct answer to your question then you are correct. Your POF should include your maintenance and balance of your tuition.

I have read the front page a lot of times as well as the UK gov website, however its also nice to get direct feedback from people who have gone through the process and have a clear view of the process. I believe that's what the trend was created for.

2. Screenshot 2:Seems okay with what you put for the MA and evidence of Maintenance

3. Screenshot 3: The MA hasn't gotten her study visa yet so that should be a No

Please I am filling a dependant form. My wife is the MA and the POF is in my account. I made a mistake on my first dependant form, it can't be edited because I'm about paying my IHS... So I have to allover.
The POF is in my account which I have indicated in the MA application form.
I'm facing this question which didn't happened in my first dependant application... I just want to know what I'm not doing well.
1. It is asking if the POF is in my MA account or I'm paying just only my own
2. What I'm going to answer in the second upload
3. Am I right with this option I took for my MA since she will be depending on me for POF

No it will not affect your decision wait time


Walk in is simply for convenience,it has nothing to do with your decision wait time,if you applied for a standard visa the decision time is 3weeks.

1. No you don't need to change the category. The result of the TB is more important, your visa application already shows it's a study visa.

2. That category is correct

3. People's addresses are personal information and shouldn't be shared on an online platform like this. Also you shouldn't rely on that type of information from a faceless forum.

I have already done my Tuberculosis test. In the test I picked Work as my purpose of traveling. ( That was the initial plan) However, I have decided to go for studies.

1. Please do I need to go and change my test report to "Study"? Or it won't affect my visa application

2. Do I need to correct that of my dependants as well. (Settlements and dependants was written there).

3. Please do we have anyone in living in Hull that I can use his or her address to make my Visa application (placeholder) or what do you suggest I fill - in place where I am asked to disclose where I will be staying. I plan to get accomodation but that's after successful visa application.

To the best of my knowledge walk in has been canceled in Nigeria, if you want to go as a group during your biometric payment you will pick the option for "FLEX" which is about 44k ,it allows you go as a group and at anytime frame

The tracker is update by VAC and decision mail sent from DMC

Sometimes they are in sync sometimes not

You always will get the decision first or same time with the tacker changing, unless you have missed it and it went to the junk/spam section of your mail

The second I'd like to ask what date is your biometrics? If you print your statement now ensure it is used before the 31st day.

I'll advice you go ahead to submit it and print close to your biometrics. If it's not too far then fine

I put my POF together May 11th and I started counting my 28days from May 12th. Yesterday (June 8th) was the 28th day on the dot and I made payment for my IHS and visa fee same yesterday.

Well, exactly that, the ECO wants to check if the funds have been recycled

The MA should provide the bank statement that was requested for and within the time frame plus any invoices or receipt for rent,bills, transport etc

If fees were paid out of the account the evidence of that should be included.
The MA should provide a cover letter to explain to the ECO the documents provided and balance left in the account if any


I assume the MA hasn't spent up to 9months here

Please what does it mean when a dependant gets an NSF requesting for 10 months bank statement of 2 accounts of the MA? Specifically the account the dependant used for POF and the one the MA used for his own POF. The MA has been in the UK since last year,while the dependant just applied and did biometrics on tuesday.

You can only arrive 1month before your start date so whether a priority is applied for or not it won't matter

You need a court order from the court declaring you the sole custody parent
