If you used the correct IHS Calculator and know the exchange rate plus charges your bank is using then you should be able to argue with your agent about whatever exchange rate is he/she is using for your application

Visa applications are really easy and straightforward avoid using agents please

I've applied for my visa and gotten a date for biometrics.

I disclosed my 2 US student visa denials, even though I was unable to upload refusal letter because i couldn't see it again, i wrote what I remember from the letter...i made it simple by simply saying the US consular officer said I wasn't ineligible for a Non-immigrant visa at that moment.

Please, I'd like to know if 2 US refusals won't have any effect on my decision?

Your application will be reassessed by a new caseworker. You have to wait for that decision before knowing what to do next

May I suggest that you advice your Uni on this so they are ready to respond with a new CAS.

Praise be to Allah, The A.R I submitted 3 months ago has succeeded. Refusal decision made on My Students visa and that of my dependent have been overturned... Kindly find attached screenshot for details...

Contrary to what alot of people believe, UKVI caseworkers are also humans and they are bound to make mistakes, so never give up and never take A.Rs for granted (just to encourage someone ).....

What happens next?... I really don't know, I'm only waiting for my school to issue me with CAS for September intake....

Any ideas or suggestions?... What's in this overturned decision for me?.... Could it be possible that my dependent and I may not need to apply for another Visa? Anyone with similar experience?

Your TB certificate

Your evidence of maintenance

If you have a study gap of more than 5years please include evidence of your activities (whether you were employed or self employed)

If you also look back at the thread you will see people have previously posted their visa outcome and the documents they uploaded

What is flimsy excuse??

If you want to address a refusal through the compliant method you have to be willing to prove that professional misconduct contributed to the visa refusal

1. Address what is flimsy, what communication or words were used in refusal or phone discussions that lack professionalism and show unfairness

2. Show evidence in guidance or any other applications that quotes that your visa should otherwise be granted or shows unfairness

3. You could address time delays in responding but it may not be sufficient

4. Witness statement/document evidence to show bias/unfairness

No 2 is particularly important

If there's none then the appropriate channel will be admin review

My question is, if it is locked how do you intend to amend your answers?

You already stated it is locked, how are you possibly asking if you can open it?? Also if you mention the Uni maybe people that know more about your Uni can help

I need your concrete advise now cos as it now I am in a big mess.
I have filled almost my cas shield and have uploaded necessary documents including my passport, certificate and transcript and my TB.
I haven't submitted my pof and haven't done interview.
The problem now is that I didn't answer my precas questionnaire very well, there are mistakes in the questionnaire. And the page for this questionnaire has been locked. I mailed the admission team maybe I can access the precas questionnaire page to amend errors made But there was no response. I even sent message through the CAS shield messanger but no response.
My question is, is it possible to open this precas questionnaire again for amendment since I haven't completed with the whole CAS shield (haven't submit my pof and haven't done CAS interview). Is it ok to let them aware of this before they refuse CAS?

Just to add to @mimilyrics comment on No 1.

Use the current address they are staying in Nigeria. They aren't in the UK yet so can't have a UK address. In the section for where they will be staying, you can use your current UK address, however like she mentioned,shared accommodation is NOT ideal for kids. Any detailed ECO will flag it up

2. We always advice you do it yourself and avoid agents. You and your agent need to rest and wait for the outcome of the CAS questionnaire

Please I want to ask this question and it's very worrysome.
Today, I was trying to fill precas questionaires because when I read the questionaires I felt like it's what I can answer at my end without stressing my agent, even though I screenshot my answer/response to those questions. And with the hope to impressed my agent and he will login later to review the questions I have answered. When I got to the final stage I discovered that I cannot access the previous page. Ok And my agent got mad at me and he said I didn't get the type of questions. I was very scared and I called the school admission team maybe I can review or access the questionaire again but he said no and I should tell her where I made errors and she was like all my response are ok to the questionaire. Also I shown my friends about my response to those questions and they said all my response were right. My agent still insist that, from his experience if response to CAS questionaire is not ok then the school will not issue CAS.
I have done the part of precas questionaires
Now left with CAS interview
I'm very depressed and not happy about the whole thing

Not sure if this question is for you or your brother.

1. If you used the IHS calculator and put the right dates/information then it is correct. Study visa usually have additional 4months included when approved, so the IHS will be more than a year actually. The figure you quoted seems about right

2.Unfortunately the only expedition you can do is to keep checking for early biometric dates. In terms of decision making after biometric there are options for priority (average of 5days decision wait time) and super priority (average of 24hrs decision wait time) but these are not guaranteed. If the ECO needs more time to assess your application you will get an NSF mail

First your POF is for your study in the UK so it shouldn't be running.

2. If your husband is your sponsor he needs to provide a consent letter in addition to the home office consent letter stating you have access to the funds for your study, he will need to include his bank statement and an ID.You will need to include your marriage certificate to show he is your spouse


The rest will be documents for your study

You need to be 100% honest with your answers. Let them know you have been refused before. It does not reduce your chances of getting a visa. Just say yes please.
I have been refused several times and I always declare it, doesn't do any harm as long as you have done everything right. If you lie and they find out wahala!

[b]PS I don't think UKVI asks about your refusal for other countries with study visa, I know they will specifically ask if you have been refused UK visa b[/b]efore but not sure about other countries but if they ask sha just be honest.

Your Uni has already highlighted what is missing in the documents you provided. I am surprised that your transcript and statement didn't have those basic information.

Can you get another letter from your previous Uni with all those missing information included?
