Your POF is your maintenance fee whilst you study for a 9months out of an average of 1year study as advised by UKVI( although some courses are longer). You submitted it as an evidence to get a visa to study.

It should be so, your maintenance for your study and for use in the UK

For more clarification, the dependant and MA did assisted service at once. For dependant, there’s names of documents submitted in the collection paper from TLS and we noticed “evidence of sponsor” was there as documents submitted which is CAS. Do we need to worry about it because he’s not the MA?
Secondly, for MA there’s names of documents submitted in the collection paper too from TLS and we noticed there is no “evidence of sponsor” documents but the CAS was duly submitted for MA. Hope this pose no problem as well?

You can always update your record once the transcript is ready

It is advisable for someone to submit visa application without TB test result and then submit the TB test result at a later date.

The date that my brother was booked for TB test is 30Th of this months.

A simple email requesting to defer your admission,provide your admission no and course and say due to personal reasons you wish to defer your admission to Jan and thank them for their usual cooperation.

Upon my documents upload during my visa Application, I uploaded my CAS letter as *Evidence of Sponsor* after the upload and submission. I realized that it could mean a certificate from someone's sponsor like Parents, etc. Meanwhile I am self sponsored.

I hope it won't generate a problem for me I have already uploaded my POF in my account and other docs.

The paid mail only has limited access which they have advised as per decision made.

If you didn't get any refusal mails I would say Congratulations

TLS will send you another email that your passport is ready for collection soon

It's not impossible but might be difficult.Most Uni's would have closed application and focused on processing the ones they received and issuing CAS. There might be one or 2 still accepting though,you need to have a look.

I will advise you aim for January 2023.

Yes, refusal are sent via emails,it's always good to keep an eye on both inbox and junk/spam messages

And Yes it's almost certain that the visa is approved if there are no NSF and refusals received

Please do all refusal come as a separate email. Does it mean, if someone did not refusal email and NSF mail, his/her visa is approved when the person picks his passport from VAC.

I just got an email from VAC that a decision is ready to be made on my passport. I am currently out of the country, so I paid for passport pass back; meaning I went back to get my passport during application progression, so I could travel with it. I was told when a decision is ready, i would be emailed to bring back my passport.

Now, I did not get email from UKVI itself, I do not know maybe it because today is Sunday, non working day. Anyway, my anxiety is how am I to know if My visa was approved or refused.

Talking to a staff in TLS is different from officially raising a complaint

Go to https://pos.tlscontact.com/lgv_en/contact

Select the appropriate section and raise a stinker complaint

Talk about how you are aware a decision has been made and how you are yet to collect your passport, talk about when school is resuming and how many times you have been to TLS, talk about the financial and emotional stress this has caused you and how you exploring legal options since it seems TLS have refused to return your passport


Keep that copy of complaints for yourself as a record.You may wish to send a copy to UKVI when/if you don't get a response

I had my biometrics on 20th April 2022, made paid call was told that decision has been taken waited for few days made paid mail and was given 15 working days for feedback after some days got a mail from the school that brp card is ready for collection and yet to get my passport returned to TLS, lectures has started and am the online one left to arrive to the UK because passport haven't returned, I have been to TLS on 3 different occasions but I kept on hearing same message passport isn't ready. Please help me with any info on how to go about this please. My class is MAY intake.

Your wife can apply when her passport is ready.
Your selection will not affect her application at all

2. When the baby arrives you have to make arrangements for the baby's passport and ensure maintenance funds for both mother and child are available and they can apply when ready.That selection doesn't affect their application

While applying for visa. There is a section that requires partner(my wife) passport number when I selected that she is travelling with me. However, her international passport is not ready. Can I proceed by selecting that she is not travelling with me. I'm not sure when her passport will be ready and I do not want to stall this application.

Will this affect her visa application?

Secondly, she is pregnant. I selected that I do not have any dependent. When our baby arrives, will this affect the dependent visa application ?

There is nothing you need to do

Your passport still have validity, try to apply for a new one when you arrive
You'll need to make out time to go to London for that

Unless you want to renew it while in Nigeria then that's different

No dependant visa fee is different MA is £363 while dependants are £490

IHS will also depend on when the dependants are applying, if it is at the same time it should be same if after the MA has arrived the UK and settled in it will be based on whatever months is left, so technically lower

Nov is far na, it might be the way they manage appointments and perhaps only release dates for certain months at a time
You might need to check again sometime during the month to see if dates for Nov are now released.
