Actually, it seems things have changed in the EPL this season, can you imagine Sunderland going to OT and putting Manure under that kind of pressure? Nothing stays the same my peeps, let's just hope it is going to be sustained.

You see why e go tay small b4 una win anything in Europe again? why not give us the boy and see what he becomes at Arsenal in 1 year. I like that boy no be small, I rated him better than Merida at Under 17 level and I can't just beleive that boy can just waste away like that cos he is a natural footballer midfield playmaker type. He is IMO Ballack's replacement in the long term as Germany's main midfield player.

Infact it seems every one in that team is allowed to roam save for Gallas.  grin
To buttress my point you'll notice he was the one who passed to Fab in Fab's assists to Verm and RVp. So we can say he assisted in two assists grin .
Even Gallas is allowed to roam, only Mannone isn't allowed. It is called "Total football" and the team will only get better with it. I think that is one of the reasons why Arsene likes to have Versatile players who can play different positions. Did you see the way our front 5 were just interchanging positions all over the pitch? We are blessed at Arsenal and the glory days are about to return.

I still don't doubt Diaby's potential one bit, all these lads have had to develop together at young ages in the limelight when ideally they would have been at some remote club making a name for themselves and then be bought over to the top clubs. We have had to chuck them in at the deep end and even though they are yet to swim, they haven't exactly sunk yet.

I follow the club's players down to the Under 16 level and we always make our lads to punch above their weight and I tell you, we are spoilt for choice when you see what our Under 18 to Under 16 guys are doing playing the same pattern of one touch passing down through the club. Our dominance in the PL is assured for at least the next 10 years.

There is a guy from Netherlands you will likely see in the Under 17s in Nigeria called Oghuzan Ozyakup, he is basically another Cesc in the making.

look at this doodoo face. Only Gaynners make noise about reserve team football. Who told this guy that the main objective of reserve team football is to win?
And who exactly told you that the objective is to not win? My point is, all the so called future "world class" players from chelsea were there and they were comprehensively beaten by a bunch of Under 19s from Arsenal, so what does that make our players? future "Out of this world" players or what?

Alright, I've turned over a new leaf. Since Rafa is at his wit's end, I am recommending some two 15 year old boys from the Arsenal Reserves to turn around the fortunes of your team on the pitch. I'm sure when yu buy them, they will start to bench Stevie G and Torres and you will be in with an opportunity to win the PL this season. tongue tongue tongue

And you better grow up too my friend. Your points are too simplistic and lack in-depth analysis and argument. Why the semantic argument over shitty team or shitty club? I humbly mentioned that Liverpool didn't have the characteristics of a shitty (team) tongue, and you faced me like a raving soul.

Well I have no beef with you but when I come to my favourite club thread the last thing I want to see is immature comments that hold no constructive criticism.
There is a very big one, Liverpfool is not a shitty club at all it is a "once great" club which now has a shitty team  tongue

I could give you in-depth analysis and argument but I'm sure yu're not willing to hear anything against your "relatively" shitty team so clam up and start praying your boys start delivering on the pitch so that mouthy folk like me can stop making fun of you and giving you a high blood pressure. wink

By the way, have your Administration proceedings started yet? grin grin You know a potential Arab benefactor has already gone to Portsmouth?

debosky:
Good job by Diaby, but then again, that's why he's in the team. By doing his job he allows others to do theirs.

Both Song and Diaby could possibly have done better for the second goal, and possibly even Sagna. Song didn't really run back to try to close out the run of Dunn, neither did Sagna track back after losing the ball high up on the pitch. Diaby? Well he wasn't even in the picture so I don't know whether he was standing picking his nose or genuinely trying to get back.  grin
That goal really shows we still have a lot to learn about defending, what irks me about it is the fact that we weren't really outnumbered at the back. The important thing was to break down that run before players got into dangerous positions. Once Dunn received that ball and drove into the box there was really little Gallas could do.

There were 3 BB players on that counter since our pressure kept most of their players back before the long punt from Diouf. Vermaelen was tracking the other guy and Gallas was further back behind him, I felt Song should have tracked Dunn's run rather than falling  back to cover the centerbacks since Clichy was effectively tracking back also. Effectively we conceded on a 3 v 4 situation just because our extra player made the wrong choice IMO.

debosky:
We still need to tighten up at the back. While I'm all for Vermaelen and Gallas bombing forward and all, when your front 5 are so attacking it makes sense to keep some solidity at the back to avoid getting sucker punched. It's happening too often for my liking - Dunn did it for the second goal, so did Rooney for the penalty at OT and at least 2 of the goals Citeh scored. All have come from a counter attack when some of our defence has been stranded up field.
Well said, we play such a high line that leaves little margin for errors and that is one of the reasons why each of our Keepers usually have an headless chicken moment occasionally. We effectively make our GK the sweeper for the team.

Clichy also has to learn not to rush at Bigger and more powerful players as he just seems to bounce of them like a ball and then expose us on the left wing. Sagna never does that, infact the only time in recent memory that we've conceded a goal from our right flank is this goal and it was still avoidable in my opinion.
