The issue of secession of the Biafra from Nigeria has been going for too long .. The USA is more diversified than we are yet they tolerate each other ..NOT one part threatening the other with secession and oil claims .. Its disheartening that the leaders from the region who enjoys the bulk of the revenue generated from there are quite happy about the seeming under development of such areas .. Militants are getting richer while all the citizenry wallow in abject poverty .. Some are in the confine of the UK (NNMADI) inciting ethnic bigotry into youths ... And the youth who bears the bulk of the burden are brainwashed .. All those above the age of 55 can attest to the Holocaust and pain that happen those years when OJUKWU blindly lead people into war like GERMANY'S HITLER did resulting in the deaths of thousands .. Yet NNMADI KANU who is still a baby then is now stirring the hornet nest . he's gaining popularity on people emotional attachment to Biafra.. I will not be surprised if he comes back and contest for a political post in the country... My dear Youth ..wise up. And don't be a pawn..
Per the bolded, please shut up your putrid mouth and engage issues within your intellectual level. In fact, if you limit your buffoonery within the crap called Nigeria you shall be well at all times.

Politics › Re: Your Biafra Agenda Will Fail Again – Arewa Warns Ndigbo by Duru1(m): 8:57pm On Aug 26, 2015
bigass:
A socio-political organisation in the northern part of the country, Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, on Tuesday declared that renewed agitation for Biafra Republic out of Nigeria by some Ndigbo elements will fail, just as it happened during the civil war.

Addressing a news conference in Kaduna, ACF Chairman, Ibrahim Coomassie, a retired Inspector General of Police, said it was sad that 45 years after the bloody civil war, some Ndigbo elements are now busy drumming the idea of another secession through Radio Biafra and MASSOB activities.

Coomassie, however, accused Ndigbo elders, who experienced the bitter pill of the secession attempt of being silent on the continuous agitation.

He said: “ACF has observed with serious concern the continued agitation by some Ndigbo elements for the creation of Biafra Republic out of the present Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“As you will recall, the issues of Biafra was settled in 1970 after a civil war. It is therefore, sad and unfortunate that 45 years after, when Nigerians are now united in a democratic system of governance, some elements are now busy drumming the idea of another war and secession through ‘Radio Biafra’ and MASSOB activities.

“The agitators for this unholy division are in their safe abode outside Nigeria and are openly campaigning in foreign countries.

“The most painful aspect of this agitation by the young Ndigbo elements is the deaf ear and silence from the elders, who experienced the bitter pill of the secession attempt, 30 months civil war, and who know the consequences of such a futile agitation.

“Only just over a week ago, an elder statesman from the South East celebrated his birthday in Abuja with the launch of his two books.

“A good number of who is who in the South East attended in their traditional regalia, and as the activities progressed, it was nothing but Biafra with inciting and provocative speech by one speaker after another.

“This made other Nigerians (non-Igbo at the book launch) to make a dramatic walk out. Even the guest of honour could not stop them in spite of pleadings.

“ACF expects Ndigbo leaders to come out openly and condemn such agitations in present day Nigeria, just as it and others condemned and berated the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East region.”

The ACF chairman said the north voted against former President Goodluck Jonathan due to botched power shift agreement between the north and south and his inability to provide security to the people of the north east.

On the last national conference, ACF said agitations from southern states pressured the past administration to convene the conference.

byteHead:
Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), has taken a swipe on Igbo leaders, accusing them of drumming another war and secession.

This is also as ACF has expressed their confidence on the ability of President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to deliver the desired dividends of democracy to Nigerians, saying, “we are confident that Nigerians will soon begin to reap the benefit of his (Buhari) experience and credibility.”

Addressing a press conference preparatory to its 2015 Annual General Assembly (AGA) holding in Kaduna, the Chairman of the National Executive Council (NEC), Ibrahim A. Coomassie‎, described as worrisome the renewed agitations by Biafra movement.

According to him, “ACF has observed with serious concern the continued agitation by some Ndigbo elements for the creation of Biafra Republic out of the present Federal Republic of Nigeria. As you will recall, the issues of Biafra was settled in 1970 after a Civil War.

“It is, therefore, sad and unfortunate that 45 years after, when Nigerians are now united in a democratic system of governance, some elements are now busy drumming the idea of another war and secession through ‘Radio Biafra’ and MASSOB activities.

“The agitators for this unholy division are in their safe abode outside Nigeria and are openly campaigning in foreign countries.

“The most painful aspect of this agitation by the young Ndigbo elements is the deaf ear and silence from the elders, who experienced the bitter pill of the succession attempt- 30 months civil war and who know the consequences of such a futile agitation.

“ACF expects Ndigbo leaders to come out openly and condemn such agitations in the present day Nigeria just as it and others condemned and berated the Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast region. We cannot afford to transit from one insurgency into another.

“ACF, therefore, calls upon the Ndigbo leaders and groups to come out, not only to ‎condemn but to publicly dissociate themselves from this act of treason against the state by some disgruntled Ndigbo elements.”

ACF noted that recently, an elder statesman from the South-East celebrated his birthday in Abuja with the launching of his two books,
stressing that in that meeting, “a good number of who is who in the South East attended in their traditional regalia and as the activities progressed, it was nothing but Biafra with inciting and provocative speech by one speaker after another, this made other Nigerian (Non-Igbos) to make a dramatic walk out, even the guest of honour could not stop them inspite of pleadings

Arrant nonsense!!! If the issue of Biafra was settled in 1970 as this moronic loony would want us to believe, why is Biafra issue ever looming large? The battles momentarily stopped in 1970 but the war still rages. If the Biafra issue was settled in 1970, why there is no single federal government presence or project in Igbo land. Why Igbo land geopolitical zone has fewer number states than other geopolitical zone? Today is not 1967 and Nigeria will never survive a second civil war. History does not fight war, humans do.

honourhim:
Here a yoruba woman gives account of the deceit, lies, wickedness and laziness of yoruba men.

Don't marry a Yoruba man says abiodun kuforiji-nkwocha

I am going to offend people with this one I just know it! Saying the truth is never easy so here goes... (if you do not have a sense of humour please stop here.)

"If you have not married an Igbo man, then you are not yet married" :

There I have said it. I feel so much better now.

So, my Yoruba brothers have been getting a bad rap on social media. I usually do not get into discussions like that because I am too busy thanking God I did not marry a Yoruba man.

I am a Yoruba girl from Ogun State and my father was the exception from the norm. My brothers... I will just say that you can fall for them at your own peril.

I am proud of the tribe I belong to. I love how cerebral we are, I love how progressive and fun loving it is to be Yoruba. So saying anything negative should not be seen as coming from a bad place, it is just so that these our lover boys will change a lirrle bit.

Yoruba boys bad gan!!!

Has a Yoruba boy used sweet mouth to scatter your destiny before? For some lucky girls it may have been temporary confusion but when your mother's prayers got you out of there, you vowed never to go back and to preach the gospel against the mgbati bobos. So many women are not so lucky, they are in the trap and there is no turning back.

When a Yoruba boy means to get you, I am not sure even MFM can help you. The guy will waltz into the hearts of your friends, prostrate for your dad and mummy and play hide and seek with your nephews and nieces. He will pull random things out of his hat like;

"Blessing, take this number, she is an event planner. Fix time to go and discuss with her."

You will find out (when it is too late) that he has two children with Rasheedat, gave Bose belle and has done 'introduction' with Suliyat.

Lest you think that I am speaking generally without basis, I just want to cull from different experiences of the people around me. Iyabo my friend is always regaling me with the tales of her husband. First, he has children from another woman. Why oh why can't they just find one woman to hatch all the eggs in the nest with? They are cheerful givers of children and children alone. She is always complaining about money for 'soup'. Apparently while they love to give children, the do not like to give cash or gifts. I am not using this woman's experience alone o! I have some other friends and it is the same thing they say. The men shirk their financial responsibilities. To put it like our office driver said

"They go born pikin for different houses but nobody go see their shishi..."

They are not just generous children givers, they can melt Olumo Rock with their raps. I just recalled a particular incident. I can still see the dark good looking guy that had backed me into a corner after a church service. "O'loun you are fine Sister Biodun.. Ah! "The "AH" he said startled me, it was as though something was surprising him. I even turned around and asked him "What?" He said that it was my beauty that had gripped him. When I went home, I had to stare at a mirror several times to see what was so striking about my face that had made him shout. His eyes had shone with sincerity. I was dating someone but I will not lie, he had entered my mind... just small. I discovered not long after that that he was engaged. Shior! I was snapped back to reality.

My neighbor always says.

"If you allow a Yoruba man open shop for you, when una quarrel, he go lock the shop."

So they are petty and vindictive. When they give you something, they still own it. If a Yoruba man gives you something, do not pat yourself on the back for being 'sharp' or think that it was a special thing or a special way he feels about you that made him do it. There is a reason why 4 out 5 accountants are Yoruba... I may not have done any research but I am pretty confident. The dude did his math (which I assure you he did not fail in school) and weighed the pros and cons and decided it would benefit him to part away with the thing in question. This is very different from the Igbo man that will do things to show people that he is 'capable'. A Yoruba man will come to you as broke as humanly possible but yet you will find yourself cooking for him, forgiving him for his obvious lies and wondering for the umpteenth time how he managed to make you 'off' you panties despite your resolve not to.

The older they get, the badder they become. Everyone knows of the Yoruba uncle that even at 60 is still squinting and pinning his eyes on Gbemisola's bum bum. Just two seconds of conversation and she will be giggling and blinking at Uncle while he says, "Gbemi, Gbemi. AH!!!! Your husband will enjoy o."

How did I escape? Maybe it was my destiny or maybe I had a thing against my people for looking down on me because of my northern upbringing and northern blood (from my mother's side). Or maybe it was because nothing can withstand the 'Igbo Kwenu' charm. Truly, by the time Mr Nkwocha was through toasting me like bread, I left my job, abandoned my vow never to live in Lagos to peel cocoyam for Oha soup in one kitchen in Ogudu. I can confidently say that so far he has lived up to his promises.

Ehen, this is not an insult to my brothers, this is a call to change. But come to think about it, why should they change? The girls will complain and still follow them. Sigh...

Consider Igbo boys, they know what is up (will do a part 2 focusing on Igbo boys!).

NB: I have just one brother in law left... hurry now while stock lasts.

Most of us are happy to try a spot of DIY but there aren't many who would take on the challenge of building their own aircraft.
These unusual looking planes are the creations of amateur engineers in Africa who have made their own jets - often just using scrap metal, a book guide and a lot of improvisation.
Despite their lack of material, training and money, these determined aviation-enthusiasts have managed to build their own machines.

But there are a few success stories - 24-year-old physics student Nigerian Mubarak Muhammed Abdullahi being one of them.
He spent nearly a year building a 12-metre (39ft) long helicopter out of spare parts sourced from old cars, motorcycles, and even a crashed Boeing 747. He used money he saved from repairing cell phones and computers.
His bright yellow contraption with a salvaged Honda Civic engine could actually reach heights of seven ft. His invention helped secure him a scholarship to study aircraft maintenance in the UK.

It might not be a surprise that Made in Mbaise copter has not seen a physic book after high school or did not even attend high school.

What is wrong with being tribally indulged? Only a deluded fool and conniving pretender would insinuate that Nigeria is not tribally based country. One wonders why the cesspit adopts a foreign language among sea of vernaculars as official language. Nigerians are not culturally harmonized and remain fundamentally deferent from each other within their respective domains. The attempts to force harmony have led to sustained and perpetual hatred. Nigerians had to go their deferent ways so that cultural harmony and progress engendered by natural unity will flourish

Senseless post.

How funny is it to know that everything that migrated from Bini automatically becomes Igbo ? Are Bini people Igbo ?
I visited the remnants of the so-called Bini Empire. I am forced to regard the so-called empires in Africa as gloried villages. In fact, if the so-called migrations from Bini were to be remotely true, the village called Bini Empire would have been self-destructed.

I want Nigerians to remember the goon who started the probing of immediate past government. I remembered when the monkey named Olusegun Obasanjo and his government decreed that anybody implicated in coup should be summarily executed. It was the first time Nigerians had to witness such act. However when the dog called Olusegun Obasanjo was implicated in coup plot, he defecated in his silly Yrai.ba pajamas, called anybody who had a voice in the universe and prayed to Chukwu, Oluwa, Abasi and Allah to save his empty skull.
