Nonybb: Quota System. When Tafawa Balewa was building a strong dynasty with the help of his Oligarchs. This is when Nepotism and Favouritism thrive over competence and merit. Just when we thought we are over it yet, Buhari ressurected the idea with his lopsided political appointments that are basically to cut other tribes to seize. How can you blame such a man who was himself a product of Tafawa Balewa's Orchestrated Quota system to favour his people without the required School Cert You could not be more correct with above post. It is unfortunate that not too many goons in Nigeria knew that Nepotism and favoritism are backbones of corruption. In addition, not too many goons in the zoo called Nigeria knew that Muhammadu Buhari was a product of the school called corruption. The Daura Dumbass was sent to cadet school by Tafawa Balewa without a common West African School Certificate. |

ezeagu: So why has it only taken till 2014 for Britain to recognise Palestine. Why aren't the British and American forces in Palestine managing the Israeli settlers? Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel%E2%80%93United_States_military_relations#U.S._military_equipment_in_Israeli_use
Because Britain was trying to keep the territorial integrity of the demarcations they negotiated means Israel isn't backed by the west? You are living on the idiocy known today as "political correctness". The entire area known as British mandate is called Palestine which included today's Israel and Jordan. However when Transjordan was created out of Palestine, the creation of Israel followed a year later. unfortunately, the Arabs refused the creation and existence of Israeli nation. British was very much involved with the administration of British mandated Palestine and took side with most Arab nations during the era in this subject matter. |

Israel is backed up by the western world. Absolute nonsense!!. The first lost of territory, West Bank, by Israel to armed forces of Arab nations in 1948 was led by a British general supported by commanders of British officers. |

Since the creation of the State of Israel in 1948, their Arab neighbors have done everything possible to annihilate and wipe them off from the face of the earth.
The first war between Israel and their neighbors broke out in 1948 and Israel defeated them.
Again in 1967, a combined military forces of Egypt, Syria and Jordan attacked Israel but rather than defeat the tiny State of Israel with a meager population of only 7 million people, Israel won the war and even annexed some of their territories such as the West Bank, East- Jerusalem and the Golan Height.
But the most devastating war was the Yom Kippur war of 1973 when Egypt with the help of its Arab brothers swooped on Israel in a surprise attack with the aim of wiping them off and Israel defeated them again.
Today, having realized that they cannot defeat Israel, this Arab States have turned against themselves. Take a look at this picture Above and see what they have done to their countries

The above idiotic post showed that the poster’s problem is not limited to lack of comprehensible ability but included intellectual deficiency. My previous post has no reference of Midwestern minorities in it. In addition, Alaigbo is not limited to the noted five states in the zoo called Nigeria. micronut: Alex Reporters, you know you can be sued for this crap you wrote? You brought skirmishes of old news together to feed the public with lies.... Please, do us a favour by showing the following; 1. Where. the interview with chief yemi elebubon was held? if i it is not outdated interview.
2. Where did you get your findings that "Ife king" had an abobaku? If so, kind tell us his name for nigerians, because we wish to know.
3. Thirdly why do you hungry bloggers just weave nonsense together just to sell and gain traffic? The picture u pasted there is during one of ifa weeks, the two men you showed are dead, one is agbongbon of the source, chief Akanni Falolu.
If you can not provide answers to the given questions, then am seriously disappointed.
How bloggers and lie crooners have suddenly come up with nonsense on daily basis, is becoming worrisome... I laugh most time when i see fabricated stories just to feed uninformed Nigerians.
Let me set it straight, "No Such thing as Abobaku in Any Yoruba land again and even Ile-ife" I challenge you to come with your evidence and i stand to be corrected.
As an indigene of ile-ife with requisite knowledge of Ife chieftaincy and Culture... It is important to make many Nigerians know that the issue of"Abobaku" was last witnessed in any Yoruba land, almost like 4 generations ago, Ooni never had any Abobaku, and nothing of such even in the days of his immediate predecessor, Sir Adesoji Aderemi who died in 1980. The closest to Ooni of Ife in any form or loyalty rank is called "Sarun Odua" and he is even an High chief. I wish Nigerians should fear God, as they have nothing to gain by discrediting YORUBA culture, just to make a point. If there is anything of such, tell us the name of the bearer. People should not just sit in their room and start twitting what is never the truth...
We should endeavour to get our facts right and never join badwagons to Paint Our Culture red. We should only condemn what is inhumane and not be an advocate to issues that makes mockery of the revered "Traditional Institution".
This is not the best way to correct certain norms, a false alarm is not only detrimental but also undignifying. The above post is a silly bunkum and waste of Internet bandwidth. Is Saul also among the prophets? You may hail from Ife but I bet you are far removed from the intrigues that surround the burial of Ooni of Ife. |

Politics › Re: We Reversed Admission Policy Because The North Is Backward – Jamb by Duru1(m): 7:35pm On Aug 13, 2015 |
salterswan: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has maintained that one of the reasons why the new admission policy was reversed is because the Northern part of the country is still educationally backward.
In a statement by the JAMB Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde during an interview with Daily Trust it was stated that more attention in terms of admission is given to the North because of the gap in educational development.
Ojerinde explained that the 2015 admission policy was initiated to “give institutions 100% of candidates they need so that other institutions that haven’t got enough candidates would also get.”
The policy was immediately rejected and protests were made by students and parents in Lagos to that effect to ensure the policy was reversed by JAMB.
However, the Registrar lamented that there are not enough students from the North including Bayelsa and Ebonyi States in the South, in Nigerian institutions.
“All the states in northern Nigeria are regarded as disadvantaged as well as Bayelsa and Ebonyi states in the South, because there are not enough students from these states in our institutions. “So, we give them preference to be able to bridge the gap between the advantaged and disadvantaged states.”
He added “Nigeria is not the first country to bridge the gap, even in United States of America; the minorities have their quota in institutions that are being funded by the state.”
Meanwhile, the reversed policy was meant to ensure that candidates, who do not meet the requirement of their choice of institutions, are posted to other institutions to give them the chance of securing an admission without necessarily waiting for another year for admission. Read more: http://www.post-nigeria.com/we-reversed-admission-policy-because-the-north-is-backward-jamb/ The revision of Jamb’s admission policy and the silly talk that northern part of Nigeria is still educationally backward when compared with the rest of the zoo called Nigeria are dumbass fraud cooked up by the northerners and ably supported by deceitful Yari.ba people such as Professor Dibu Ojerinde. If the northern part of Nigeria is educationally backward, one wonders why such backwardness has not been reflected on the political appointments in Nigeria especially the ones carried out by Muhammedu Buhari. The northern part of Nigeria has proven that the region has already surpassed other parts of country by occupying all the important positions in Nigeria where education matters. I hate when the northern part of Nigeria with the help of Yari.ba peeps play other parts of the country like suckers. |
