Yes, the jackasses from SW and North saved N/Delta because Igbo were marching from Cameroon to take the so-called N/Delta. We have seen how SW and North saved the people of Bakassi Peninsula. The mere presence of Ndiigbo in Nigeria will drive certain Nigerians to everlasting hyperventilation. |

nagastat: Nigeria made a mistake during the biafran siege. the biafrans should have been exterminated totally. when you want to eradicate your environment from vermin, you annihilate the breeders and the bred. we wouldn't have been having this nonsense nuisance again.
anyways, lesson learnt. we would uproot the stump and burn it to ashes.
# killabiafrantodaymaketheworldabetterplace. You are a certified goon of worthless cadre. Who are the "we" in the bolded? Nigeria told the whole world that Biafra will be eradicated in two weeks. Guess what, Nigeria had to call on Britain for help when unknown and a day old Biafra was kicking their asses and handing them to it. I promise you one thing, next round would not resemble 1967. |

Politics › Re: To All Acclaimed Biafrans desist from empty war talks by Duru1(m): 9:25pm On Jul 25, 2015 |
mustafo: USSR did not break up because of secessionist ideology but because of unnecessary competition with the west in space and global domination which left it broke. The financial burden of such global responsibility was too much to bear and a decision was taken to decentralize. It is now a commonwealth of independent states. The main reason for disintegration of USSR was ethnic. Till today, the ethnic tension is rumbling across former USSR encampments. Nigeria's case is not difference as ethnic tension takes the center stage whether in the political appointments or intake into governmental institution. Nigerians tend to follow the dictates of hypocrisy. |

Politics › Re: Yoruba Say SW And North Saved N/delta From Igbos - Tweet by Duru1(m): 8:57pm On Jul 25, 2015 |
Imokay: You relish in taking a one sided version of history to buttress whatever weak point you want to make. At no time was there a violent or sustained demonstration by Mid-westerners to create a region of their own. But the Federal Government led by Zik and Balewa of the NPC/NCNC alliance went out of their way to create the region after ignoring the violent demonstration and riot by the Tivs asking for their own region and the COR states agitation for their own region was similarly suppressed. The midwest was created not to balance the federation but to weaken the AG and Zik calculated that a weakened AG will be a direct benefit for NCNC and of course they 'won' the election to control 2 regions. But it was a short lived victory as the NPC they helped to hold power soon pulled the rug from NCNC feet.
Why were the minorities in the East and North not granted similar self government as the Mid West? NPC never won election in Midwestern region not even NNDP under Akintola. |

OPCNAIRALAND: Biafra planted its flag on the soil of what is now known as Niger Delta and declared them its sovereingty.
Adekunle -Scorpion -, Akinrinade, swept through and chased Biafra out and uprooted the yeye flag. If you paid kobo on the way to achieving any form of education, I suggest you request for a refund. Biafra flag flew over Eastern region of Nigeria and there was no Niger Delta as a dumbass such as you has insinuated. Niger Delta is a product of animals in the zoo called Nigeria. |

Most Nigerians are dumbass dunces. The states do not have police force which is exclusive domain of federal government. Why should moronic governors spend rare state resources on federal government agency? Every now and then, most Nigeria talk about federalism yet the political operatives at the state level seem to drag Nigerians to unitary government. I guess these acts of supply of police equipment by state governments to federal government is a conduit tube for embezzlement. |

OfoIgbo: let me put it this way 1. If your town has an Eke, Orie, Afor or Nkwo, that was put jn place before the coming of the white man, then your people had Nri influence back in the days, way before Aro emerged. They own the originating shrines of these market days. FULL STOP 2. If your people took such titles as nze, ozo, duru, mgburu-ichi, then your people habe Nri influence. 3. If your people recognised the Igbo year as celebrated by the Nris wherein years are ushered in, you have Nri influence 4. If our people have an ALU/ARU concept and depend on Nri to lift such abominations, then you have Nri influence
You will notice that most Igbos subscribe at least one or more of the above stipulations. NRI JI OFO. NRI BU ISI IGBO What gave you the silly impetus to arrogate the origin of Eke, Orie, Afor or Nkwo to Nri? Is there any thing in Igbo land other than Eke, Orie, Afor or Nkwo that its origin can be arrogated to Nri? Nri does not fly a tosh in my community. |
