GrandMufti: Smile network nko? It only works with custom rom and not miui
The curious aspect of this is that radio/modem file isn't included in the custom roms. You still have flash a miui firmware file, which contains a radio/modem file, in order to get mobile network and WiFi working. So, it's like you are still running miui in the background, just a different rom.
noobody: Exactlt why i called your statement sentimental, you knew my username kazzonline from the case of dustmalik case wen he wanted to sell his rn3ppse for 85k,on that thread if you recall well,i didnt tackle dustmalik at all,a nairalander offered him 55k which he dustmalix refused and all i simply did was offer to help the person with 55k buy the phone brand new,na so dustmalik go report me to admin, dat was why kazzonline was banned,
So you telling me thats the way u do to crash people market is just a very biased statement,i already apologised to the person that wants to sell redmi 4a,he expalained he got it 115dolalrs including accesories which justifies his price, but since you want to start anoda round of confusion in the grp,i just tot it would be better to let you know.
I'm just coming online and saw your mentions.
I want to categorically make it clear here that this guy called Kazzonline or noobody is a big liar. He made the mods to delete the first two threads I created on the sale of my RN3 SE, because he kept calling me a thief and a scammer. Meanwhile, I've never had any dealings with him, neither do I know him from anywhere.
He came on the third thread and discouraged people from buying from me. So, I left the thread for him.
I realize that he's probably a kid, hence his naivity. But I told him that if he keeps up with this attitude of his, not minding his business, he is going get himself in big trouble.
MTN, just like Glo, doesn't support VoLTE, so you can't make calls over 4G LTE. Make sure you set the network mode to alternate between 2G, 3G and 4G, or 3G and 4G, or 2G and 4G, depending on the options available on your device. That way, even when you are browsing over 4G LTE, when a call is coming in, it automatically switches to either 2G or 3G, it would work seamlessly.
My point is, the reason you haven't been able to make calls, check account balance or receive calls is because you switched your network mode to 4G Only.
iliyande: Nothing wrong sir. My 4g mifi with about 70gig is in reserve. I use 3g data because I rollover data that was running before the coming of 4g and glo 3g now gives me what I need. I can now stream without buffering with 3g service in my location.
wow... that's huge, man. I tend not to accumulate data from any service provider, because I'm not one to be loyal to any network. I just use which ever one works best at any location I find myself.
GrandMufti: Exactly. Please if possible try smile network. I'm sure it'll work with custom rom
My Kate device landed in Lagos on Wednesday, so I thought I'd get it by Friday in Abuja, but the status hasn't changed since then, and Nipost tracking system has been down since that Wednesday see me see wahala oo Anyway, I've been moving to a new place, so I didn't even have time to go to the post office sef. Will go there on Monday and see if it has gotten there
It's been a very hectic day for me. I moved to a new place, hence why I've been offline since morning.
Anyway, normally you would need to unlock your bootloader and root before you can install custom roms, but there is a way of avoiding unlocking bootloader and still be able to flash any custom rom meant for Kenzo. Just follow the instructions on the following link and you will be able to run any custom rom or kernel meant for Kenzo on your Kate. https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/kate-guide-install-lineage-os-locked-t3546154
Codedboy95: hello guys, yesterday my item on nipost website showed insert item into domestic bag.. today i am unable to track my item on nipost, the website shows “track And Confirm service unavailable, please try again later !”.., i hope this is a general problem from nipost? or it's just me
Dam5reey: That NTel seems to work well on phone with both band 3 and 8... My phone has only 3, it fluctuates 4G...
ntel works well with devices with either band 3 or 8, or both. The only difference you would easily notice is that devices with band 8, naturally, get better reception, since it runs on lower frequency, which means better in-building penetration and longer range.
I've concluded that maybe the sim they sold me has issues, because this is the exact thing I had with my zenfone 2 Laser
The sim has no issues. I had an RN3 SE myself, and i experienced same on miui, whether on dev rom or global stable. Trust me, i did everything possible to get it to work, but to no avail. But it worked perfectly without hassles on LineageOS, AOSP and CAF based custom roms. I'll be getting a new RN3 SE by Friday. Will make similar video to show that it works on custom roms.
I have it on good authority that you can now purchase an MTN/VisaFone sim from MTN outlets, that runs on the 800Mhz spectrum(LTE band 20). If you recall correctly, NCC had stopped MTN from using the Visafone 800mhz spectrum after acquiring Visafone last year. This is good because, unlike band 7 (2600mhz), band 20 travels a lot farther and has better in-building penetration.
amlos007: Please guys what should I do, this package suppose to be sent to NGOIKN and not NGOSHO, I went to oshodi post office yesterday but they said it's not there, ur suggestions pls.
