given that coverage is quite terrible over there and you are still able to pull 34mbps, this points to my suspicion that Cat6 devices would perform better than devices with lower LTE specs.

Customers who bought Tecno C5 from ntel and those who got their C5 upgraded by ntel have been able to calls over VoLTE. For now, only Tecno C5 is supported on ntel's VoLTE.

No. That's not how ntel works, at least for now. Their Sims don't have numbers assigned to them. When you go to redeem your number, you will be asked if you have reserved a number online. If not, you can still pick a number that hasn't not been reserved or given out already. Once you choose a number, it will then be assigned to a sim card.
