Just got mine few minutes ago. I was at the Ntel stand; Transcorp Hilton lobby 1:55pm and got registered at about 4:22.

Activating the Ntel SIM comes with lots of benefits as mentioned in previous times.

The SIM card is an all in one type, meaning it can be used on a Nokia "touch light" phone, BB micro sim slot and as well as on Apple iPad and other gadgets.

The SIM Card is Free of Charge

You only pay 1k for a 3 days data bundle, N2,400 for 7 days or N9k for 30 days.

Any of the above bundles qualifies you for a 3 months Unlimited Data; SIMply Amazing!

Note: Voice services currently unavailable nationwide.

I'll upload images before the end of today.
The emboldened as a misinformation. Ntel is a 4G only network, for now. Ntel doesn't support 2G or 3G spectrums. Ntel's 4G LTE spectrums are 1800 and 900mhz, that is, band 3 and 8, respectively. So, you must have an LTE modem or smart phone which supports either frequency/band. It's best you get one that supports both frequencies/bands.

Ntel, if you are going through this thread, be informed that there is currently no coverage at Wuse zone 2. I and a few others got our Sims yesterday, but no coverage over here. We need your sites over here, especially around ministerial quarters, zone 2.

Ok, thanks but will i be able to get the SIM even though i didn't do online reservation?
Yes
PhonesRe: I Collected My Reserved Ntel Sim Card In Abuja. by dustmalik(m): 12:03pm On Apr 21, 2016
TrebleChamp:
Did you pay for the SIM and #1000 activation separately?
No, sim is free. You only need to subscribe for either the 3day, 7 day or 1 month. The 3 day plan cost #1000. But the plan takes effect on May 1st. Until then, you will have unlimited internet access.

Not necessarily. Idm accelerates downloads, so it could be 40mbps or less, even.

am not a fan of Ekweremadu but this is an embarrassment, why give an award you are not sure of in the first place.

Honestly I feel for Ekweremadu, you don't disgrace a public office holder like that, even if it was an error, why don't you leave like that and move on. This is not funny o
The DSP is still being investigated for forgery, so how could efcc have given him such recognition? I believe the liaison officer acted on his own, and he should sacked effective immediately.

Ok..I also got my reserved number today. Their Registration process I think needs to be reviewed as the current process is painfully slow. Anyways, I was one of the very few lucky chaps that their cell phones was compatible and bonded to the LTE network without any setting/configuration to the surprise of the nTel engineers. They had to take the phone details to see if they could include it in their bundles in the near future.

The signal strength in my house is best at 2 bars but the speed is not too bad as u can see from the screenshot. Not too bad at all.
You guys are quite lucky. In Zone 2, no coverage yet. By the way, -97 dBm is terrible as far as signal strength is concerned. You can't achieve the available network speed at any point in time unless signal strength is at least -69 dBm. I really hope they expand their sites all over Abuja. I just feel we may be greatly disappointed.

I'm frustrated right now because there is no coverage in Wuse zone 2. I'm going to miss out on the unlimited. My unlimited is just wasting

Sorry, I just saw your quote now. I haven't come online since morning. I was very busy all through out, and didn't have the chance to go there until around 4pm. The process was slow, so I couldn't get a sim until about 7pm. I initially reserved 5 numbers, but they only issued one to me. They said that I can only redeem the rest after May 1

This is not a matter of doubting. The Sim cards will eventually become surplus someday and they will even beg people to come and get them for free. But as at today, that sim card is a decoration and will be for a few days before they go live.
What I can't understand is, why can't any of those people who have gotten the Sim, show us a display of the Sim on their device. Why is that so difficult?

PhonesRe: Swap Your Visafone SIM For A GSM Enabled One! by dustmalik(m): 9:01pm On Apr 19, 2016
According to Visafone FAQ page, Visafone data and voice plans would still be available. the only difference is, you now have access to Mtn gsm coverage, just like those with the normal Mtn sims. So, does this mean that the Visafone 1terabyte BlackBerry plan will still work, and on GSM phones? If so, that would be sweet.

we should expect more threads like this as the FG continues in its fight against insurgency or militancy in any form.

This means that news headlines of attacks by boko haram, herdsmen or militants are goodnews to some people.

This is the way they feel they can get back to power as the govt of the day must not succeed in this battle. smh
To the wailers, good news is propaganda. All they wish and pray for is devastating news.
