Smitsam: It was a very hard struggle for all these Governors that won, what I think I that come 2019 they must have done things that will win the hearts of their citizens. This will make it very easy for them to win without bloodsheds. #think positive. You don't seem to understand the OP's point. We all want positive outcomes, but these judgements have set a precedence. |

Given the judgements, the CJN and other justices of SC have made it clear that card reader is irrelevant, and it's impossible to prove Electoral malpractices no matter how convincing the evidence brought before it. So yes, it's still business as usual. The way we have always known it to be... Just win at all cost, and you will be just fine. |

Justdulla: Its so amazing that Nigerians like you think so short sighted,, who told you that the APC was bothered about winning atvall cost? Do you think Buhari has time to be involved in election issues? Or you think he will run Nigeria like the way PDP intended to destroy it..... I have an experience about the Abia Elections and am ashamed if they call that elections at all... An election that the PDP rigged shamelessly, where corpers were either handed huge sums of money to rig or they obes that didnt coperate were kidnapped through out the election period... All many of you do is to sit down un a comfy sofa and type anything that you think of... Don't mind the wailing fools. |

Viruses are man made, it's not natural. Just like the Caucasians they are not natural on our planet and they are behind all these sicknesses and diseases going on in our planet.
If you study the Caucasian race very well you'll know what I'm talking about. The emboldened have always been the sole aim of viruses, including HIV etc. But the world is still ignorant of this fact. Most people dismiss it as a conspiracy theory. |

There is a rule on Nairaland that clearly state that, a Nairalander shouldn't spread false information. Now, there is no evidence that Tolu Ogunlesi sponsored that article or even made contributions to it. Just because Mr. AyeDee says he did, doesn't make it true.
Seun, Mynd44, lalasticlala, Obinoscopy, this is character assassination on the person of Tolu Ogunlesi. Therefore, this thread should be closed ASAP. |
Politics › Re: Breaking News- Kogi Election Tribunal Relocated From Lokoja To Abuja!!! by dustmalik(m): 11:31am On Jan 29, 2016 |
It's called Doctrine Of Necessity. This is purely for Security reasons. We all read about what happened at Ajaokuta yesterday, and we all know that there will continue to be tension in Kogi for a while to come. Some people are even instigating violence in order to render the state ungovernable. You don't have to wail over every issue. Prevention of unnecessary unrest is paramount over every other consideration. |

This is an excellent development. These bills would go a long way in helping the fight against corruption. With such bills, the FG doesn't have to fight corrupt individuals directly. The system would simply take care of them. I see what Buhari did there, nice one. The only worry is, will the corrupt Saraki, who sits at the helm of affairs at the National assembly, allow the passage of these bills? |

Politics › Re: Supreme Court Verdict On Wike! by dustmalik(m): 8:57pm On Jan 27, 2016 |
There is something definitely wrong with this judgement. Why wait for two weeks before we know the reason they arrived at this decision? Does it mean that they currently don't have a reason yet, and are trying to come up with one? This is insane. This is why the judiciary can't be trusted. It's even more disappointing that the CJN himself headed the panel of justices. |
