They have valid reasons for not wanting to publicize the negotiations, or anyone or anything that has to do with it. In the past, we saw how the people and media try to spin the whole negotiation issue. Some even accused the appointed negotiators as Boko haram members.

At this stage, the only reason why government would want to negotiate with them is because of the captured girls still in their custody. That is understandable.

The military has been able to stop their sources of weapons, food etc. And knowing that the girls are still there, kept in hunger, I can understand why the government would want expedite negotiation talks.

Yes, that is the customized version by infinix. The stock lollipop shows network types differently on the status bar. The colored microphone icon is a recent update on the google search app. Yes, they made changes to their logo, hence the aesthetic changes.
