Do you mean yet to submit my supporting documents at VFS or yet to submit the online application?

I had already submitted the online application and was already given a Transaction number.

Can i still start the application again? Will i be given another transaction number?
You can generate a new transaction number as long as you haven't submitted at VFS. Whatever needs to be changed is allowed until you submit. So start a new application with the required documentation

Repartriation flights return leg

Most are run by Ethiopian or Emirates and sometimes Air France ( if emirates is coming to Lagos it will say so their site)

Travel through Lome or Cotonu ( book flights through Air peace to Lome)
Cotonou go by road through Idiroko Sango route. You would need to ensure that the flight to the Uk you intend to board leaves from Cotonou airport. So planning your journey needs to be alongside flight availability and departure. You need a Covid PCT test. NCDC has approved testing centres in Nigeria. SYNLAB is one - tests are about N52400 try their ikeja office else check their sites for details.

Resumption of flights in Nigeria would likely be in September so depends on how long you have to wait., bare in mind if you go to the UK you need to self quarantine
Heard from a confidential source that international flight resumption will begin in 2 weeks. Hopefully, it will be announced this week!(Fingers crossed!)

Good evening everyone, I’m new here, I have tried Canada twice but was refused so I thought of switching to Ireland but I have some questions bothering my mind as I would need everyone help to contribute.

Firstly, is it easy to get PERMANENT RESIDENCE in Ireland after study, if yes please explain.

Secondly, I have a degree in Microbiology in Microbiology and I’m thinking of going further to study Master in biotechnology or agriculture or can anyone recommend a good university or suggest another course that can earn me good money In Ireland.
Getting a PR after your studies depends on how well you fo in your MSc and if your course of study is on the critical skills list of Ireland. Read this thread from page 0 to be acquainted with all you'll need to make a correct assessment.

You can do a Google search putting MSc in biotechnology in Ireland and a list of options will come up with the schools and cost estimate!

Who knows the advantage of filling a multiple entry visa as compared to a single entry visa. What do you advise an international students should fill?
You are required to fill a single entry visa for your study permit. It is clearly stated before you begin your application

I think your sponsors account is just an added advantage since you are going for the edubond, but your sponsor should be able to show that he can cater for your living expense for subsequent years of your programme, so I think having any amount more than 7000 euro isnt bad....
After paying the bond, the sponsor is required to still have enough funds to cater for themselves and their families. A fair estimate is an extra €3000 for the sponsor for upkeep!

Good morning, for those that submitted appeal, does the embassy also post the decision on the weekly list they upload on Sunday or how do you know when a decision has been made?
Most if not all visa decisions are posted on the weekly decisions list released weekly. Appeals are definitely posted on the list. Try and check it for the last 3-4 weeks

Hello!
Do I need a to book for a hostel reservation while trying to submit my application at the VFS?
Urgent please.
Icasng would be in a better position to answer that. It is advisable to do that but the major requirements are to ensure you or your sponsor have the required funds and all lump sums to be explained. You should also take note of any educational gaps since your first degree!

Helo chiggsglover, pls i have some questions.
I applied to university of limerick for an Msc in infection prevention and control. (Part time course)

On the website it says first semester will be taught online because of the corona virus. Which is approximately 6months, until January.

Does it mean, let say everything goes back to normal and airports begin operation around October, will i have to wait till January before i come to Ireland?
International students cannot study part time in Ireland. Your Visa will not be approved!

Please I have a question, my sponsors bank statement is 7 months. Would it still be accepted?
Again, would a bulk sum that was made before the 6months interval still be questioned?
@IcasNg @Dwebb55
All the lodgements that are lump sums in the printed account statement should be explained. You can submit the 7 months statement but it should not be older than 30 days.

justwise:
If you walk to school, get £500 a month room with bills included and you don’t have bad shopping habit then you will be fine
But ensure you hold some cash for a few months as you might not get a job immediately you get there as you have to process your NI and sort other things out.

My best advice though is to try and do minimal work in your first semester to enable you settle down and adjust to the change of environment. Then, plan for more work after that!

Hello @Dwebb @ICaSNg and everyone...

Has anyone used the ireland education bond? please advise

Also, please share a template for explaining lumpsum..

Thank you.
The education bond is a good way to show proof of student living expenses to the VO. Once the tuition fees have been sorted out, you can opt for the bond.

Also note that every gap in education and work areas should be totally addressed!

To explain lump sums, you can use an excel sheet with columns for date, amount, type of entry(debit/credit) and explanations.

Hope this helps!

@ICasNg
Please can anyone confirm:
1. If I need to print out the account statement I paid my school fees from or the telex from the bank is okay.

2. Is below enough documents needed from my sponsor?
- Birth Certificate/International passport (Data page)
- Letter of Sponsorship
- Employment Confirmation
- Fixed Deposit Certificate
- 3 recent payslips
- Six (6) months salary account statement
As stated earlier, you need to print out the statement of account for 6 months, showing explanations for the lump sums in and out of the account.

Then, you can add all the documents stated in (2) and also show the proof of the relationship between you and the sponsor!

Please, as students, do we book one -way tickets when travelling with dependents or we can book a short flight ticket for like 3 weeks and after arrival, ignore the return leg? We are having an argument here about which option is right. Thanks guys.
Normally one way tickets would be cheaper and better. However, looking at the prices of tickets currently, it's cheaper to buy a return ticket as it is cheaper than buying one way right now. You can pick the return date up till 6 months from the date of departure and also try and pick a ticket that allows you to change dates for a small fee or for free! A lot of airlines are now giving 1 date change for free because of the pandemic.

Can he decide to stop the date on 14th and he print the statement on the 20th
No matter what date he prints, the balance on the account will still show. Any attempt to fiddle with the balance can lead to a refusal and a ban which will be shared with other embassies on request!

Good day all, for those that have appealed their visa decision before. Has anyone ever been refused based on lack of explanation of lump sum of accounts? If yes, how did you go about it?, also when appealing did you print an updated bank statement or printed out the same bank statement submitted earlier and highlight the lump sums then gave detailed explanation? Tnx.
Yes, some refusals are based on not explaining lump sums into and out of the accounts. Anything above N100k should be explained. Also include payment slips if applicable.
