PoliticsRe: Sanusi To Quit As CBN Governor In 2014 by EagleNest(m): 2:51pm On Mar 21, 2013
Nice move, perhaps to prepare for 2015.
My only problem with him is he's arrogant and sometimes thinks he know all.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Backs Amnesty For Boko Haram by EagleNest(m): 2:42pm On Mar 21, 2013
Tinubu's view is simply political. It lacks intelligence.
Let BH come out and negotiate for amnesty and that to me is not ambigious. There must be someone or group of people master-minding their activities.
They are the real BH and not the field boys & suicide bombers.

PoliticsRe: Soyinka: Alamieyeseigha’s Pardon, Symbol Of Corrupt Mentality by EagleNest(m): 2:16pm On Mar 21, 2013
Quite obvious that GEJ committed a serious blunder. Would never value his talks anymore.
Hopefully in 2015 he will be humiliated and bundled back to Otueke so that we'll have a relief and re-build what he has damaged.

It's getting out of hand. These BH men need to be fought to standstill.
They've shed many innocent blood and it's high time they are caged forever.
I am thinking something...
PoliticsRe: God Told Jonathan To Pardon Alamieyeseigha – Arthur Eze by EagleNest(m): 1:35pm On Mar 20, 2013
Itoroetti :
Multi-Billionaire businessman, Arthur Eze has dismissed the controversy trailing the presidential pardon granted former governor of Bayelsa state, Dipreye Alamieyeseigha and others saying it was God that directed president Jonathan to grant the pardon.

Speaking with state House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Chief Eze said criticisms against the pardon was misplaced.

“What Jonathan did is what a man who fears God will do. If I have an opportunity as president of Nigeria I will do the same. All of us are human beings. What he did was correct. We are not fighting war. Jonathan took advice from God. God has told him to show mercy. The bible says blessed are those that are merciful for they shall see God” he said.

He said the American government has no right to dictate to Nigeria because Nigeria is an independent nation.

Speaking on his donation of over N1billion to a church in the president’s Village, Chief Arthur Eze said those criticising him over the donation are criticising God.

“God gave me the money to contribute to the church. The money is not meant for Jonathan to put in his pocket. We are thinking of thanking God for what he has done for Otuoke. It was abandoned for many years.

They had no water, no electricity until when God brought Jonathan to change that place. Let the people have a place to worship God. Those criticizing me are confused people” he said.

Shameful! Some people are even playing politics with church donation.
Some of these people that have set us backward for ages should be cleaned out.
Shame to GEJ and his cohorts.
PoliticsRe: U.S. Excludes Nigeria From Africa’s Democracy Summit by EagleNest(m): 1:28pm On Mar 20, 2013
ITbomb: So what if we organise our own summit and invite any other country except USA , will it affect the price of anything ?
.
Just because some food aid dependent countries have been invited to the capitalist lord enclave shouldn't give anyone headache.
.
If Obama has anything to say , let him come over here and say it.
Nonsense talk. Bigging-up your chest as if Nigeria worth anything.
Some of you still go at the back to beg for their visas. What Jonathan did was a great blunder.
America can react in anyway they like.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Is The National Recruitment Fair 2013 A Scam? by EagleNest(m): 2:27pm On Mar 13, 2013
[quote author=Playgal]I went for the Fair. D fair costs 3K. I expected more from dem. They told us to bring about 20 to 30 CV's. I only distributed 7.
Firstbank, Gsk Glaxo Smithkline, Wema Bank, Nestle, Obat Oil, Flour Mills, Airline Services Ltd, AIM Group.
OBAT Oil reps did not even show up at all. It was just one young lady collecting CVs on their stand.
First Bank, gsk Glaxo smith, wema bank, nestle, flour mills, Airline Services ltd and AIM (These companies really took their time to interview us, not minding d crowd.
We expected d likes of Total, Mobil, Airtel, MTN, Etisalat and oda Blue Chip companies.... We dint see dem.
Dey ought to av at least given us a drink. At least coke.
Somepple were their helping us adjust our CV. Helping us to edit it properly.
Am hoping. For d best. I stood from 12pm to 5pm. Was hectic. At least I learnt something.

PropertiesRe: Lagos To Ban ‘omo Onile’ by EagleNest(m): 5:19am On Mar 08, 2013
Another step in the right direction.Lagos need to be sanitized fairly and squarely.
At the moment there's still so much chaos in Lagos as if it is 'no mans land' with no govt in place.
To me this is part of the beginning of civilization if it becomes law and is enforced.
Land, housing, transportation and security sectors need to be thoroughly sanitized.
PoliticsRe: No Amnesty For Boko-Haram - President Jonathan by EagleNest(m): 5:08am On Mar 08, 2013
Very good. You don't grant amnesty to ghosts.
BH must be unmasked first before we can then talk of amnesty.
Very, very good. smiley

PoliticsRe: Okupe Condemns Opposition Governors’ Visit To Maiduguri by EagleNest(m): 7:09pm On Mar 06, 2013
Why is Okupe telling us and crying.
Opposition governors can visit as many times as they like that's normal in democracy.
Must everything be seen from the political angle? Even if it is purely for political purpose?
We want actions and not rhetoric s.

PoliticsRe: Lagos Shuts Ladipo Market, Arrests Bakassi Boys.... by EagleNest(m): 11:52am On Feb 26, 2013
I believe in orderliness and cleanliness, and would want Fashola to sanitize Lagos as much as possible. Lagos entropy is really HIGH.
Only that he should approach it with human face and in an examplary way otherwise it could be mis-interpreted.
He has done tremendously well in sanitizing Oshodi. Recently he closed Mile-12 & Ketu Markets for envrionmental-related issues. Ladipo market should not be different.
I seriously desire that he get rid of 'agberos/area boys' on different loading points and markets. They always reminds me how terribly uncivilized we are.
Tribal bashings is un-necessary wrt this post only that some people on this social network enjoys creating mountain out of nothing. The mod(s) shouldn't have encourage such unnecessary provocative remarks & insults by keeping quiet.
Unless they are out on errand...lol.
PoliticsRe: Anenih Is Elected PDP BoT Chairman by EagleNest(m): 10:56am On Feb 26, 2013
The 2015 political war game is gradually building up.
GEJ is gradually strategizing and reharsing on how to push himself back.
Since it is a PDP thing, then as usual it is a family afair. It should not concern nigerians now otherwise I would have asked. 'Where is the masses in the equation? Do they count?
