Horrible. What has this innocent boy done to deserve this? Cruelty!Human beings are cruel! |
How come Kogi State have not gone public about the ownership ever since the time of award of block to exploration and production. All of a sudden, just after the commissioning they realized that some of the oil were in Kogi side. Well, it will be clear soon. Hope it will not be similar to Cross-river vs Akwa-Ibom saga. |
Na wa ooo! Arm robbers in Osuofia house. Before it was the kidnappers. Abeg make una let osuofia drink water and keep him cup. Thank God he wasn't at home. Nigeria robbers can be desperate and in the process can do the un-imaginable. |
Nigerian masses resents the N5000 introduction because of the damage already done by the previous ones. The introduction does not in anyway uplift the life of the ordinary man rather that of the bourgeois. Govt should concentrate in killing corruption rather than aiding it. Are we now imitating Zimbabwe. Why not introduce N10,000 note or more. |
This is just the beginning. More closing and opening of embassy will come. US vs ISLAM. What of the embassies of the allies - UK, and likes? |
Sometimes OBJ makes sense. This is what GEJ as C-in-C should be telling Boko point blank, 'you can never win the battle' but fear wont let him. I salute the courage of Borno governor who recently told Boko they can't Islamize North let alone the whole Nigeria. Most northern governors, leaders and cabals knows this truth but cannot dare say it. Likes of IBB & Atiku seems to like a disoriented Nigeria b/c they are not in-charge. |
Same of the same. Executive, Legislative & Judiciary are all the same in Nigeria - they give & take.... Unfortunately, the ordinary masses are the one's paying with their lives...untold suffering. |
Police is your friend! ![]() |
What a dream? I have never bothered about GOVT promises because it never happens. Close to 2025, they'll push it to 2030, and from 2030 to 2050. In fact we don't need Govt anymore in Nigeria. Let's manage ourselves at community level where we'll know each other and I think our lives will be better-off than what we have now. |
I am convinced that ISLAM is among the many anti-Christs that is predicted to rise (1Jn2:18-19, 22-23). We ain't seen anything yet. Never believe the peace mantra they preach with their lips. Ever imagined what's in their heart (especially their preachers) - hatred & wickedness. Every opportunity will be utilized to bring fear to the world. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. |
Islam is gradually becoming the most intolerant religion. I don't really understand what it stands for again - peace or destruction? I am a bit confused! If we serve a supreme gGod as all religion believes, why can't the gGods fight for themselves. Since they are spirits, they know themselves more than we do. Who amongst us have seen gGod before. So why killing a fellow human being that you can see (flesh & blood)and that you are supposed to love. If we continue like this then we are no better than animals.A pure religion is a religion that preaches love and not hatred. No matter how tempted or emotionally stretched we found ourselves due to someones bad utterance, we have right to be angry but not to the extent of killing a fellow human being. Tolerance is a level of spiritual maturity whether you believe in gGod or otherwise. I feel so bad when Muslims go to the street and start burning and destroying things over any slightest provocation. I don't see any sense in killing in the name of gGod in this 21st century (whether Christian or Muslims). |
Why the sudden realization? Waking up from slumber or kind of something is fishy? Leave Igbos alone who have supported your son Jonathan to be President and rather sort it out with the North who have not allowed Jonathan to drink water and put down his cup. |
What a shame! Are they driving danfo or abi no be aeroplane again? Which kind contribution be that? I fear for Nigeria seriously. |
Preservation of one's culture while in diaspora is a very difficult thing because you are immersed in a totally different environment with different cultural values. You cannot afford to resist the new culture 100% rather you adapt to it for survival otherwise there would be a cultural clash. The percentage of adaptation is dependent on your religion, population of your tribesmen in your locality and your willingness to adapt or resist. But I think the middle easterners and a couple of other Asians are more resistant to cultural change than Africans. |
What a hell of a place to live. One week one trouble! Is it now by force for Nigerians to use N5000 note. Who the hell do Sanusi think he is? Zimbabwe is now in sight and could be a reality if care is not taken. |
One thing I have learnt in life is that there can never be 'equality'. Human right and equality is only an expression on paper and not in the mind. White, Black, pink, yellow, arab, chinese, american, european, aussies, - whatever color or race, we surely hate each other like snake and toad. There is no softer way of saying it. But if you cannot develop thick skin to repel or absorb the insult and demeaning attitudes and expressions from non-blacks then don't bother to travel to their country, b/c you will see it being expressed in diverse and sophisticated ways. Back home in Nigeria, I think everything is happening there - racism, tribalism, religionism, favouritism, cabalism, nepotism, cultism, kidnappism, lootism , bullysm (police, agberos, omoniles, etc), embezzlesm, mal-practism, etc. We have never been ONE. |
Vicjustice: https://www.nairaland.com/newpost?topic=50144&post=1060450Not sure I agree with your last paragraph. It's utterly exaggerated. |
NUPENG is a shame! They are now a readily available tool to fight FG. It's time GOVT do sth about them. |
May be we(our police) are outstanding when we go for international assignments just like army (ECOMOG)counterparts but internally, I think Nigeria Police is currently in mess. Take a trip to Nigeria police barrack. |
CrazyMan: http://www.facebook.com/pastoradeboye/posts/10151194688928488Very insightful and honest truth. Only three people are critical when it comes to marriage - the two people involved and God. The role of Family and/or Pastor is to guide, counsel and support in line with the Word of God. Their counsel can be palatable or unpalatable, but the decision must ultimately come from the two people involved whether to marry or not. |
Aba is an epitome of failed government. I class Aba as 'No Man's Land' b/c there is little or no government presence. It's the job of government to organise and regulate the people and their activities within the confine of the law. Failure to do so will lead to anarchy. |
looking forward to your thinking... |
I reflected on the current situation of my beloved Nigeria and came to the conclusion that to fix Nigeria will be amongst the 8th wonders of the world. In fact a miracle. Don't think I am pessimistic but the signs are all over there that living in Nigeria is frightening. No need to enumerate the indicators of the near-death status of Nigeria. If you are living in Nigeria presently, you already know these. Is hell in Earth? I thought it's an after death destination. Never mind, I have seen someone that has been written-off as dead that survived, but I have not seen it happening many times in the life of the same individual. How many times can one cheat death? We have stretched our luck too far and in my little knowledge of physics, when a material is stretched beyond it's elastic limit, it will snap and break in pieces...never to be recovered. For some of you that knows physics, you will agree with me that we are now in the 'yield point' stage. For my medical friends, it seems Nigeria is suffering a terminal disease. For my folks in Engineering, Nigeria is a faulty design with manufacturing defects. Either we thinker with the design or we destroy it. Managing it is a calamity anyway. For my religious siblings, we need to call to our gGods for intervention. When I pondered more, I ask myself who will cleanse the mess, when and how? It took me long time to answer myself, probably messiah Himself. We have ALL failed. Do I have a witness, somebody? |
chivaley: Hi folks. How significant do you think dreams are? Can they tell the future? Are they meant to help us ward off impending doom? Does God warn us through our dreams? Real experiences are welcome as well.I am sure you know that it does. |
Eko Ile: And the same ibo people kidnapped their own uni vice chanc' just yesterdayWelcome to the world... |
Rich Dad: Stale News.I can say it LOUD that most Estate in Lagos [Lekki,Oniru,VGC,Dolphin,Magodo,e.t.c]Indulge in this criminal act.The sad thing is that,it's still the same PHCN guys that does it for them for a fee or around 5k-10k depending your bargain. The only thing is that they dont connect it directly on the pole like the Op said. There's a way they'll BYPASS the Rechargeable meter that it won't be reading, though all the indicator light will be ON so that if the Patrol Team is around everything will appear Normal and working Perfect.I think I have seen something like that. Phantom Meter with credits that doesn't deplete. And they use all their appliances to full blast and hardly switch them off unless PHCN power goes off. To fix Nigeria will be the 8th wonders of the world. In fact a miracle. |
Life has thought me many things: (1) Love of money is the root of all evil. (2) Fear is the greatest enemy of man (3) There are things money cannot buy |
Things will soon fall apart if we continue in this downward tren |
love of money is the root of all evil. the first blame must go the parents. |
Until lives are lost government will not be pro-active to service. We only react after the disaster comes and are hardly safety conscious. Keep on walking to your death. You are warned. |
There are so many thieves and street urchins in Lagos. The number of policemen on patrol are quite few,yet there are many unemployed youths who are willing to work. The security votes are for what? Lagos is a jungle. |
