PoliticsRe: Voting And Counting At Governors’ Forum (Video) by EagleNest(m): 4:50pm On May 28, 2013
PDP...Oh PDP...any kingdom that divides against itself MUST surely fall.
This is just an 'eye opener', the real fall is coming. How mighty is the fall.
Use your tongue and count your teeth. GEJ is a bad product, why forcing him on Nigerians.

FamilyRe: Baby Rescued Alive From Toilet Pipe After Being Flushed by EagleNest(m): 4:21pm On May 28, 2013
Height of immorality. Too much of everything is bad.
Absolute freedom means animalism (wild animal).
Even in the so called developed world?
PoliticsRe: Obama Skips Nigeria In His Africa Visit by EagleNest(m): 5:12pm On May 21, 2013
Kind of mixed feeling to me.
Wish that he visits Nigeria b/c of few good ones amongst us and wish that he doesn't come b/c of the corrupt politicians which will count it as achievement.
PoliticsRe: Woman Protest In Lagos Over Hunger by EagleNest(m): 5:00pm On May 21, 2013
I-B.:
If anyone wants to take a survey of how much people from other zones are entering SW, just stay at Iwo road bridge in Ibadan for 5minutes, you will shiver at the amount of "the young, benue link, edo line, imo transport company, chukwudi express, nassara link, Akwa ibom express, delta line" busses passing or parking everyday. I wonder if people are still left in those places they are coming from. Gosh embarassed
That's what makes Lagos, LAGOS. Don't you like it?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Soldiers Beat-Up Transport Union Official Over Dues by EagleNest(m): 6:34pm On May 14, 2013
We are far from being civilized.
I detest with passion the activities of Agberos in Lagos. They seem uncontrollable and they are so daring because nobody challenges them.
I like the first episode of the beating but not the later one. I think the first beating should have been enough.
Agberos, omoniles and alayes need to be controlled. For Christ sake we are in 21st century!
CrimeRe: Bandits Kill Pregnant Woman Over Church Offering by EagleNest(m): 6:02pm On May 14, 2013
Terrible evil. Human life has been so cheap of recent.
Some of these beasts out there need to be caged or killed.

PoliticsRe: Assistant Police-Commissioner, 29 Officers Killed In Nasarawa Clash by EagleNest(m): 8:14am On May 10, 2013
If the security officers are mauled down like this, then the ordinary people are on their own.
GEJ please, please do something before this problem consumes you too. You might think you are immuned but history have shown otherwise.
Rise up and stop this mess. Hmn!

PoliticsRe: Bama Massacre Negates Amnesty Talks – Jonathan by EagleNest(m): 8:07am On May 10, 2013
Only if GEJ can muster courage and attack these BH frontally, this carnage will end.
You don't handle terrorist with kids glove. GEJ should learn from America on how to deal with terrorists.
Unleash all your arsenals and intelligence on them and they'll be slowed down to halt and finally wiped out.
PoliticsRe: Arrest Me If You Can, Dokubo-Asari Dares IG, Reps, Others by EagleNest(m): 7:49am On May 10, 2013

CrimeRe: Imo Police Smash Baby Factory, Nab Impregnator, Rescue 17 Pregnant Teenagers by EagleNest(m): 7:38am On May 10, 2013
Horrible. How come human beings can be this wicked?
Captivity and abuse of these young teens and production of babies as if they are products from factory... terrible & utmost evil.
Imagine the future of these babies...
Let police also go after those that do the patronage b/c if there is no buyer then there would not be sales (production).
And if the said woman is caught...she simply deserve life sentence.
Too much evil in the land!
PoliticsRe: Ombatse Traditionalists: Police Killed Our Members So We Killed 95 Of Them by EagleNest(m): 7:23am On May 10, 2013
So many wars raging in Nigeria -

(1) War of Religions (Traditionalist, Christians & Moslems)
(2) War of Politicians (so many characters with personal interests - who wants control of power & money)
(3) War of Agberos (control of parks and returns, and territorial dominance)
(4) Economic Wars (common Man vs Poverty)
(5) War of Niger Delta Militants (Control of bunkering business, kidnapping for money, etc)
(6) Subsidy War (Cabals & cartels too powerful to touch)
(7) Sabotage War (PHCN & Oil pipeline)
(cool Corruption War (Little or nothing done recently)
(9) Others

You agree with me that Nigeria is already out of control even while there is a subsisting government.
EducationRe: Reps Summon JAMB Registrar Over Mass Failure by EagleNest(m): 6:57am On May 10, 2013
acidtalk: What in Heaven's name is This Country Nigeria turning into?

If this so called House of Representative members have nothing to do, can they just close that chambers, give the keys to Tambuwwal to continue globe trotting with rotimi Ameachi in his private jet. This whole thing is making a mockery of this country.

Is it the Head of Jamb the House of Representative are meant to summon on the Dullards who have nothing in their heads and their parents who no longer scold them to go and read.

The educational standard as so gone down the drain that even a day to exams, students will have heavy ear phones in their ears (they call DRE abi shey na Snoppy) listening to some immoral meaningless songs being sang by all the so called illiterate wanna be dropouts.

Nothing in Nigeria is improving anymore, everything seems to be nose diving, from morals, to spiritual life, educational standard, respect, conscience, trust, hardwork, humility, honesty......

Tambuwwal tell your boys to face more pressing issues rather than blaming an innocent man and his team for marking genuinely without bias what those useless dullards tick in the exam sheet.

Well, I don't blame dem sef. Afterall the thief that called himself Farouk Lawan was the chairman Committee on Education. They are looking for ways to siphone bribe from the Budget given to Jamb this year.

Students : if una dare insult me, na the person wey dey the oldest picture for una house una dey talk to.

Olodo bunch of students in a dead nation. Like Olodo Students like their Dumb President.
I quite agree with your sayings...the teens of nowadays are really not serious with education and the Universities & parents are not helping at all. Then when you add the wahala of JAMB forcing students that have not been exposed before to computer to write exams...is like adding salt to injury. Let JAMB explain if the options of writing with computer or papers were adhered to. After that we can make a final analysis and deductions.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Will Be Treated Like A Traitor – Dokubo-Asari by EagleNest(m): 1:12pm On May 06, 2013
Is Nigeria now the property of particular section of the country. I don't understand how this Asari of a guy talks.
So it is now a sin for a southerner to voice his or her interest for the position of VP talk more of a South-South person b/c of wise-less GEJ. This kind of attitude can cause anarchy.
CrimeRe: Lagos Airport Robbery Suspects Speak Out by EagleNest(m): 3:55pm On Apr 30, 2013
Quite revealing. Imagine, some of these robbers are married with kids and are living deceptively amongst us. Some even have legitimate business like poultry & fish farming just to camouflage and erase any suspicion. But wait a minute, does it mean that their respective wives have no clue about their husbands activities. When they started spending money in chunks won't it raise suspicion. Imagine some of the robbers getting 180 million and yet they could not be spotted. Is it that they bury the money underground because going to bank would betray them. How did they hid this huge amount of money?

It amazes me that even after collecting 180million in one of their mission, they could still embark on another trip. This tells me that their minds are warped and polluted. Terribly greedy like an average Nigeria politician.

Also interesting to know how widespread these gangs are. Majority of them are not resident in Lagos but sneaks in/out of Lagos.

I also noticed that Lekki-Ajah corridor needs more police presence and the residents should be very careful b/c they are already tagged as generally being rich which attracts robbers and kidnappers. They should be simple (or loud) enough not to attract robbers or kidnappers.

Finally, kudos to the Nigerian police for at least not letting us down this time. Even though it was a reactive effort, I still think they were swift in picking them up irrespective of how widespread they are.I would also think in future that pro-active approach will help nip some of their plans and activities in the bud. By foiling their plans it means many lives and properties would be saved.

More of this...police!
Christianity EtcRe: UK Priest Allows Muslims To Pray In His Church, Hit By Abuse On Facebook by EagleNest(m): 5:04pm On Apr 25, 2013
Can a christian be allowed to pray in a mosque? That will be a sacrilege and fatwah could be declared.

PoliticsRe: Respect Press Freedom: U.S. To FG by EagleNest(m): 4:32pm On Apr 25, 2013
Only US can have such audacity to talk boldly to GEJ et'al. Already the average Nigerians have been cowed to submission by this terrible GOVT. and some who has eaten from the Kings table will surely defend the king or risk the king's largesse. Let America speak...jooor! This is similar to Abacha/US/Commonwealth scenario and the dark googled General was busy killing anyhow. Did anyone cough? except likes of Gani. Did all the five political parties not choose Abacha except MD Yusuf? Didnt some people say they will die if Abacha doesnt win? Mediocrity to the highest order!

Now GEJ is gradually towing that line of intolerant and extreme corruption and we are tired already of complaining because our voice hardly cross this Nairaland or who amongst us has demonstrated in the street about the terrible state of the Nation. Neither has the senate/representative members raised any significant objection about the state of the Nation except when their constituency money is truncated.

So it is ok for an external strong person to raise the point of correction to GEJ. For me, I dont see anything wrong in telling somebody the truth. They have the choice of keeping quiet but that will not benefit us. The Truth must be told!
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Leaders: Past And Present; Your Best And Worst? by EagleNest(m): 4:03pm On Apr 25, 2013
[b]
Best: None (because none of them laid any legacy for Nigeria to flourish)

Fair: (1)Murtala
(2)Buhari/Idiagbon (Attempted to lay down a good foundation though in a harsh manner)

Bad: (1)OBJ (Brute and bullish, third term, manipulative and abit lawless, encourages God-fatherism)
(2)Yar'Adua (fairly good heart, a bit weak, go-slow, favouritsm, Ibori)

Worst: (1)IBB (Chief Corruption General - he legalized corruption & very slipery)
(2)Abacha (Nigeria version of Idi Amin - intolerant and very mean)
(3)GEJ (Immature, lacks wisdom and weak)

Others: (1)Ironsi/Gowon/Shonekon (filled the gap when the nation was under verge of collapse)
(2) Zik/Belewa (Paddled the ship post colonial and did not understand the true dynamics of Nigeria)
PoliticsRe: Corruption level In Nigeria Exaggerated - Jonathan by EagleNest(m): 3:00pm On Apr 23, 2013
GEJ et'al always take Nigerians for granted whenever a matter of such importance as corrupt practices in his govt is reported. Why should a man like him be lying over obvious matter. His response means that he has lost touch with the true situation of things in Nigeria, and America is just helping the ordinary Nigeria citizens in shouting loud...that this is too much. The level of corruption in Nigeria is colossal and unquantifiable. It has broken every world record and still counting...Shame!!
PoliticsRe: Corruption Is Massive Under Jonathan – US by EagleNest(m): 7:45am On Apr 23, 2013
Jonathan's govt is terribly corrupt and fighting corruption is least of their worries.

What US govt just listed are just a mere scratch on the surface of deeply corrupt Nigeria. The magnitude and rate of corruption in Nigeria is unimaginable.Every sector, all levels of government, old and young, christian or moslem, private or public, military or civil service, no area is immuned.

And this 'corruption' has caused untold hardship to the ordinary citizen and has triggered off survivalist mentality when there is no even a natural disaster in the land. Like mosquitoes, these few evil men&women in power are sucking our blood dry to satiate their unending urge for money and power. It is quite painful, and unless something drastic happens to turn the tide of woes (and deplete the numbers of these vampires) we will remain like helpless sheep without Shepard. What a country?

Billyonaire: Go and get dressed, sitting there in a poorly ventilated room and typing rubbish from a dusty laptop. If there is anyone that is capable of chasing people from the comforts of their homes, its me. Be very afraid.
Why are you hurt already by my comment. I know you are among 'them', those who shoot down on anyone critical against GEJ's action. You also give us impression that, politics is for people with animal mind and not human beings. You also start raining abuses on whoever doesn't agree with your personal view. TELL GEJ to change from his ways!

Billyonaire: OPC has been worshipped by Yorubas as their defenders, now you call them rogues ? Anyway, To catch a thief, you must act as a thief, OPC will know how to catch those vandals, thats their mission, aint it ?
Interesting! Tell your Boss (GEJ) that he is threading on a very dangerous path with these recklessness in the desperation to return to Aso Rock. I hope you'll not run when the whole house begin to break into pieces.
PoliticsRe: Faseun Paid To Cause Mayhem & Destabilise South West - ACN by EagleNest(m): 10:21am On Apr 08, 2013
If the allegations are correct, then GEJ is becoming ever increasingly desperate and deranged.
So Army, Navy, Police, etc are all for 'fancy'. It's the 'rougues' that takes care of national pipelines.
Incompetency and mediocrity is the hallmark of GEJ et'al. Somebody please help before we all plunge to the abyss.
CrimeRe: Credit-Card Fraud: 32 People With Nigerians Arrested by EagleNest(m): 8:03pm On Apr 06, 2013
22 out of 32 is roughly 70%. That's too much from one nationality. Does it imply that Nigeria is a training ground for fraudsters?
PoliticsRe: 110 Die In Accidents On Benin-Lagos & Onitsha-Owerri Expressways by EagleNest(m): 7:37pm On Apr 06, 2013
Such a massive loss of human life when it's not a natural disaster or war induced. Simply a human error of negligence, recklessness and mediocrity. We are too far away from being civilized. The signs are everywhere even in this forum.
