megamank: Danjuma again abi.....
Though this current government under PMB has failed woefully in all areas but personality like danjuma should keep quite. These are the same people that have been ripping this country apart financially since military era....if they had done things rightly during their time we wouldn't have been where we are now.... Danjuma has oil well licences, he was given victims support funds under GEJ government and this funds is unaccounted for over the years.... So individuals in his class has no moral ground to speak about issues in Nigeria because their level of fruad has killed more Nigerians indirectly more than the current herdsmen.... Yes I agree he's not a saint. But keeping quite is even worse, considering the menace of Fulani herdsmen. I wouldn't worry about the messenger for now until the message get through to the right ears otherwise one day we'll wake up in the bottom of the ocean after Nigeria boat has sank. |

This is what we call "fact finding". Well done researcher. These are the stuff I want to see in Nairaland front-page everyday. Something that queries the system for a positive change. Not gossips on Bobrisky, Davido, Whizkid, BBNaija, etc
Obviously, the Nigeria government university system is full of analogue staff and runs analogue office system. ICT departments are just theory based and does little to put knowledge to practise. I remember in those days - learning computer Basics, Fortran and Pascal Languages without seeing computer.
How we manage to do things in Nigeria baffles me. You cannot request transcripts online like universities in western world. Are we really part of this world or are we created to add to number.
Same analogue system is in federal and state governments including judiciary, parastatals, etc
And this is why corruption in government is endemic because of too much human involvement. |

The capital was moved to Abuja in 1991, after 31 years as official capital (since independence). And another shocker, if you count back from 1914, the year of almagamation, then we are looking at about 77 years as Nigeria capital. Lagos has come of age and is a melting point of all nationalities. |
Travel › Re: Lagos Can Never Be Compared With Abuja - Lady Blasts Lagosians by EagleNest(m): 7:02am On May 17, 2018 |
Not everywhere in Lagos is bad, neither are all places in Abuja better.
Lagos is struggling with too much population on such a very small land space. The existing infrastructure cannot cope. However Lagos being the economic capital cannot cease from attracting people from all parts of Nigeria and West Africa.
When Port Harcourt was vibrant, it was attracting people and complementing Lagos until militancy spoiled everything and many companies and staff moved to Lagos and less to Abuja.
The most annoying thing about Lagos is its transportation and housing. So disorderly and lacked control by authorities.
Public transportation is unbelievable poor for such a large city and this in turn is causing terrible traffic as many private cars are on the road with zero alternative to commute.
Housing can be better if government can control building activities and make it more transparent and accessible. |

Assad needs to accept the deal soonest and sacrifice Russia and Iran. The odds are seriously against him. Kim in North Korea is a smart cookie. It's difficult for Assad to turn his back now, after all that Russia and Iran has sacrificed. The West I think still threads carefully because of Russia. If not it would have been like Libya now without leadership. Militarily, Russia is not a lean meat. Iran and Turkey might be lesser but they equally are dangerous. Because the actors have different interests, it kind of become more interesting and difficult to deal with. For Kim, he was more of a lone person. NK's only ally China is under pressure to strip him economic support. But let's watch cautiously and not be fooled by his sudden change of character. I hope it is genuinely for good. |

My dear, God is not a man or human being, even the ancient Jews knows that much (Numbers23:19) spend your time believing the Romans
God is the universal consciousness. Come on...we are not blind. There are variants: orthodox, celestial worshippers, Mary mother of Christ apologist, Living creature in heaven (seraphim) worshippers, Pentecostal, etc.. In the Pentecostal alone, there are innumerable. In all these, time will come when the wheat will be separated from the tares, at the harvest time. By the way it's someone that sowed the tares. But all will grow until the time. It's sign of the time that this post is all about not the trivials of whose variant of worship of God is right. At the right time we'll know. Who do God want as worshippers? Those who worship Him in truth and Spirit. These are the ones he has adopted as sons. And not only sons but joint heir with Christ. Let's leave the trivial and focus on what will benefit all as we run the race for eternal life. Don't forget to keeo watch. Herein lies wisdom. |

When you get to where I am you will know that there is only one e God, that is responsible for both light and darkness, good and evil, well being and disaster.. I have experienced many sides of religion. From traditional, Orthodox, Jewish to Pentecostal. I have friends in Islam, Hindu and Buddha. I did not find it difficult to know the truth. It is not what one tells you at the alter per se, but more of what you experience. Spiritual encounters. If you have not, you'll struggle to understand. Exactly, how Saul who latter became Apostle Paul was passionate about Judaism. He goes on persecution crusades crushing Christians until he had an encounter with Jesus and his eyes of understanding opened. Take a moment a reflect on Christianity. It is founded by Christ and would never be crushed to dust until His coming. You can persecute it. You can war against it but it never be crushed. |

Anas09: America in Prophecy! Hmmmm. Let's see.
Let's begin with the dream YHWH gave to Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2.
An Image represented the world kingdoms/empires or governments which shall rule the earth before the Millennial reign of Christ.
We are told that, first the head of the Image (gold), represented the very King Nebuchadnezzar himself. He ruled supreme, no opposition. Not even the Assyria Empire could match it in any way.
The second Kingdom was to be (Silver), the Chest and hands part of the Image. It shall be great, but as silver is lesser in value to gold, it shall be lesser in power and influence to Babylon.
And we saw the Medo/Persian Empire (Macedonia and Persia) which joined forces to pull down Babylon.
The third Empire was made of Brass. This consisted of the waist and the thighs of the Image. Of course nah, Brass is lesser than silver, so, the Kingdom shall not be as strong as it's successor.
Within the Medo-Persian Empire, Daniel made us to understand that another King shall arise and take power by force, overthrowing the existing King on the throne.
The Fourth Kingdom of Iron. Alexander the Great.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. Daniel:2:40
Dan 7:7- 8 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
Historically, we see Alexander the Great, (The He Goat), an illegitimate son of Emperor Philip, (Not heir to the throne), Charged against King Darius (The Ram) the ruling Emperor, killed him took over the throne. He was so strong Darius could not withstand him.
Alexander the Great did very great. No kingdom could withstand him. He finished his War Career at 32, at his prime. (When he was strong), his great horn was broken, his power failed and he died.
Before his death, he divided his kingdom into four Kingdoms and placed his Four Generals over each.
Dan 7: 8b and for it (His Kingdom) came up four notable ones
And the prophecy was fulfilled as Alexander divided his kingdom into 4 and gave them to... 1. Cassander.
2. Lysimachus.
3. Seleuxus, and
4. Ptolemy.
Now, these 4 Generals forgot to rule, but were busy fighting themselves and terrorizing their people.
Alexander the Great had squashed off the Persian axis of the Empire, all his Generals were Greeks. From one of 4 kingdoms, the Roman Empire rose up.
Daniel 8:9 -11 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down. Daniel:8:11
If you read carefully, you'd see the activities of the Roman Empire in the above scriptures.
Out of one of the 4 Generals, the Roman Empire rose, and, it dealt severely and cast the stars (The saints) down and stamped on them. The Roman Empire persecuted Christians fiercely and succeeded in doing so.
The Roman Empire destroyed the Jewish Temple which led to the cessation of the Jewish Daily sacrifices till today, as the Jews can not offer their sacrifices except in the Temple.
T.BC. Beautiful. Well laid down. |

Anas09: Now, The last kingdom is on going right now, and it's called, the United Nations and America is calling the shots there, or at least it was until lately.
The UN is a body mixed with strong and weak Nations. And, as Iron is stronger than Clay, they can not hold themselves in any cohesive agreement, hence, the disagreement going on there.
America is Seemingly the Head of the UN, the Headquarter is there. Everyone wants to go to America. If America says, It's okay for Men to Marry men, everyone is expected to say yes.
If you are educated and it wasn't any of the renown American Universities you attended, you'd need to go back to Harvard.
If you are a musician and you do not associate with America, your Career is still up coming. All roads leads to America. She is the deciding voice in the last Empire.
Now, watch. Revelation 13:11 says
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
All Corporations working behind the scene to project the principles of the Spirit of the Antichrist are headquartered in America.
The reign of America and her United Nation's counterparts shall end the Seven years reign of the Person of the Antichrist, then Jesus will step in, grind them to power and sweep them all off and establish his eternal Kingdom.
Maranatha. Awesome and very interesting writeup. Makes a lot of sense to me. America is in deed double-faced. Allows Christianity to flourish but at the same time allows Satanism/darkness to flourish as well. No wonder Christ said if the day of His coming is shortened none would be saved but for elect's sake it will be. This is a classical case of Wheat and Tare growing together. The most alarming to me was the national and international recognition and legalisation of homosexuality, championed by Obama govt. I felt so sorry that humanity has descended so low to debase themselves in the name of liberty and directly opposing God. Lustful desires of a bunch of minority engulfing the wide world like wild fire is not ordinary. Hollywood is one of the industries bringing to wide audience despicable things to both children, youth and adults. Sometimes I wonder what the next generations will do, if today we are this wild and seemingly uncontrollable in our freedom. What a race we are running? Thanks a lot for the insight. |

sonmvayina: With reference to the old testament, did any of the prophet ever report that the messiah will appear twice?
Say you are a Jewish boy leaving at the time of malachi the prophet and the only book you know is the Tanak (old testament) what kind of messiah will you be looking forward to? Is their a prophet greater than Jesus Christ, whose sandal John the Baptist said he is not worth fit to untie. Jesus has come first time to fulfill some of the prophecies of the old testament but told us what will happen in future when he leaves the earth. You don't need to rewind back to Malachi whose generations have all gone, when in fact your own generation is experiencing the "Revelations" effects. This is the problem Jews had and still have today. They read their laws, prophecies, Torah, etc and forget what time it is. Lack of understanding lead them to persecute the same messiah who has come according to the prophecies they read. No, it's not the way want or expect it. They expected a warrior Messiah but got a Shepherd Messiah. Nope, it cannot be and the killed Him. Again prophecy fulfilled. And today someone will tell me Christ is not coming again. Why? Because it was not apparently spelt out in old testament. Wise up and keep watch. The way of man is not same with God. |

Since she has a political ambition now, it would be difficult not to believe that the purpose of this 'I'm sorry' letter is because of her political plans.
A life was lost and that can be painful. Forgiveness is not really easy especially when the offender is perceived by the family of the victim as truly NOT sorry.
