Nigeria Military is only strong and big chested when dealing with civilians. If it is Book Haram now, they will be dodging not to be posted to theatre of war. I thought someone said they are trained to kill...did he meant kill unarmed civilians. |
bantudra:I thought the capital of Nigeria was located in SW and the head of government fighting Igbos were seated in SW. May be they wanted the head of the snake to be cut off first. |
DeckXavier:For me I think Censoring or Closing it will help in mitigating the toxic hate speeches that goes on daily basis here. It subtly and gradually pollutes the mind such that some tribes have started seeing others as their worst enemies. Their should be sense of justice, equity, unity and fair distribution of things in the country to assuage such bad feelings of being alienated by fellow stakeholders. Who knows man, na him dey killam! |
So finally Buhari doesn't really have a WAEC certificate and he is the President of over 180 million people. Let's see how INEC will gravitate out of this quagmire. |
If the order of events as it unfolded were as you listed then the progenitor of the crises is ElRufai. He should be held responsible. Abduction of the king seems orchestrated by Govt, and may be the killings as well. I pity humanity so much for unnecessary and irrelevant fight for religious or cultural domination instead of emancipation and restoration of human divinity. |
He knew that his presidency is " siddon look" how will the media invoke projects (whether finished or ongoing) that never exists to please the president. Wasted 3+ years |
soberdrunk:Gbam! |
Keyamo was poor in delivery. The PDP man took him to the cleaners. Keyamo was arguing in emptiness and of course Buhari have not done well, so there was nothing concrete to say. |
Why are some people in this politics forum making it difficult for others to enjoy this forum. Most topics are seen or forced into tribal or ethnic rivalry with unbelievable hatred for unknown reasons. Can the owner or moderators get their acts together and move this forum from this low point to something more decent. Instead of promoting hatred and ethnic rivalry, it should be promoting unity, civility, patriotism, ideas, innovations. Aren't Nigeria tired of time wasting and irrelevant negative dissipation of energy? |
What a country! Una no dey shame Why do we like suffering? Why? |
Shell Nigeria trying to form saint. You don't pre-empt judgement. It is people(staff) that makes a company not what is written on paper alone. If they flaunt anti-bribery code of Shell, then the company will suffer for it and not exempt itself. |
Minister of transport flagrant disdain for due process. And he doesn't care! |
Your husband is over-reacting. We don't have to live in the past but in the future. If you have not given birth, then may be his reaction is justified..but you've got three kids for him. Please don't quit your job unless there are other issues we don't know. |
Buhari, The president of the North. |

I simply don't understand. Is Christ divided? I grew up to see this horrible rivalry in church between Catholic, Anglican and Pentecostal and I thought by now we have been wiser than to allow denomination to decide whether there would be marriage. What happened to love? What happened to sacrifice? Where is Christ in the whole thing? |
She did the needful, although very late but I have to give her some respect now. When mistake is made, the honourable thing is to admit it, and that earns respect. |
I smelt sense of arrogance and self accomplishment in the story. There are many ways to handle mother-in-laws and still come out top. Do you really want to have kids or not? |
Africans are somewhat difficult to understand. We refused to be creative, innovative and champion our own course. We chase after shadow instead of substance. We have a peculiar mindset that kept us busy with irrelevant and un-useful things while the world advances forward. We wallow in self pity and cannot help ourselves. Since the White man left Africa many decades ago, we are yet to found our feet. For instance in Nigeria, the so called giant of Africa dreamer boy, it is obvious the system is currently not working as most people had genuine cause to complain of unprecedented hardship being experienced, but for selfish and typical blackman's reasons, it's OK to keep the status quo or foolishly differ the potential solution until a certain person, tribe, religion, political party or other vested interests have satiated themselves in turns, to the detriment of others. And the cycle continues! It is clear that the basic foundations on which a typical western society evolved or developed is either lacking or completely eroded in our case. OK, why not evolve your own home grown political and economic solutions, No! And we have eyes but cannot see and brains but cannot think. And everyone suffers for no justifiable reasons. So sad! |
datopaper:Exactly! Both are fanatic northerners. |
Why are you blaming God for your mistake. You didn't do what they called proper "due diligence". You would have done proper secret checks on him and his background. There is no way you would have missed that he'd married if you had checked. A hard lesson of life. |
What does that mean? I thought it should be the people rather than just a single entity that should project you. Oya go and be the President naah? |
Buhari and self righteousness are inseparable. Was the law not there before you become president of Nigeria and why trying in vain to interpret it to justify your penchant to disobey law courts. Wake up! We are no longer under military rule by decrees. Rule of law is important to survival of any nation. |
Brexit has pushed Theresa May to go various parts of the world looking for business deals for UK, in the case of hard Brexit. Nigeria should be negotiating on ease of doing business with UK in respect to exports of Agricultural produce, etc. |
blacknp:My friend, you don't need to start insults on someone's view. That's a clear sign of immaturity. Put your view in agreement or disagreement of a conversation, and move on. That's civility which many of us lack. I know about all these people you mentioned before I made my own comment, in fact one of them is the richest black person but it makes no meaning when defining the wealthiness of a nation. When you travel outside, you'll see why some countries are termed rich and others poor or very poor. It is not an economic jargon but a reality. We are too busy with unnecessary and irrelevant troubles rather than forging forward to push Africa as a force in all ramifications. I have a lot to say but let me stop. |
Seriously! MKO must have been killed by CIA too because his death too was mysterious. |
Poverty is real in Africa and Nigeria has sunk deeper into poverty index since Buhari came onboard but I don't agree we are home to the poorest of poorests. |
The end has come! This was the point where I gave up for GEJ when he was arguing that stealing is not corruption and now Buhari e'tal has reached the same point and argued that certificate forgery is not corruption. Nigeria let's be serious with change of leadership in 2019. We are better than this, haba! |
Laugh wan kill me ![]() |
Since you have a concrete and irrefutable evidence, then the choice is yours on how you want to go about it. I will advise you bring it open to: 1). The cheating man's wife with evidence. 2). Your wife's family and yours as well 3). Report to her workplace to ruffle them abit 4). Depending on how the abovr goes, the last option is to seek divorce. Do not be afraid to take hard decisions if it come to the last option. It is indeed such a pain to have a cheating spouse. It defeats all the purpose of marriage. Why bother marry in the first place. |
So that we should apply wisdom and discretion in our dealings on earth knowing we are time limited. No time to waste on quarrels, ethnicity, religious bigotry, etc but to help and show love to one another. |
