Christianity EtcRe: Why God Is Patient And Merciful by EagleNest(m): 8:32am On Aug 19, 2018
In the past, before Christ's 1st coming to the Earth, God used to strike hot and hard on disobedience.

But at Christ's coming, He brought special grace unto humanity, which is sealed until His 2nd coming when the special grace will elapse.

Until then God will "overlook" but you'll still account!
PoliticsRe: "Nigeria Is Better Without The Igbos" - Alaba Ajibola, Babcock University Staff by EagleNest(m): 3:22am On Aug 19, 2018
MetaPhysical:
This phrase is over played. Oyibos do not progress because they are smart. They progress because they are racists and exploit others. They lack altruistic ideals. If oyibo way is good then our bigotry is also good to bring us progress. Let's support ethnicity and exploitation of others. If that's not desirable, then stop praising oyibo in our face.
It depends on how you see it. For me I am a bit pragmatic. I think we are so beclouded by irrelevant matters (ethnicity, tribes, religion, etc) that we lack time and clear vision to think to help ourselves and humanity. Why is "leading and helping" ourselves proving extremely difficult? Is it because we don't look up and forge ahead, but often live in the past?

When it looks like we are about to start, then suddenly we lost all. And oyibo people irrespective of their own issues have gone too far to catch. Where do I start?

See, it is not by physical or numerical strength that you rule the world in 21century but by brains/skills. Is it not red blood that runs in all humanity why are we this backward and think awkwardly.

Unnecessary hatred by Africans to Africans...no wonder we can never progress like Oyibos.

I find it difficult be believe that such bitterness is coming out from a learned person in a learning environment.

God have mercy!

Buhari just dey enjoy his old age with our money. Kai!

We should not expect him to do anything special for Nigeria because he is getting older and older and old age normally comes with its natural consequences unless you're extraordinary person.

Nigeria now needs an energetic, intelligent and smart fella to push it forward. The likes of Buhari and Atiku doesn't seem to meet this criteria.
PoliticsRe: Nuhu Ribadu: 'Northern Nigeria Most Backward In The World' by EagleNest(m): 4:19am On Aug 16, 2018
Blind brand of religion is what destroyed the Northern part of Nigeria and is still causing havoc. Is this how they do it in Saudi Arabia? No wonder ISIS claims a branch in Nigeria, of all places in Africa. What do they want but for Nigeria to be like Afghanistan by any means necessary.

And the paradox is how the blind leads the enlightened. It is kind of 8th wonders of the world.

Any effort to forge forward, is often scuttled and frowned upon by the northern politicians, religious leaders, traditional leaders and military goons, but at the end everyone suffers and we are terribly backward as a nation.

For me, living in the past is a recipe for failure. Nigeria is a case study.

That Ngeneukwuenu moniker sounds like a name of deity I have heard about located somewhere in Ebonyi State. If you know you know.

Back to matter of urgent national interest... Tell us the truth...Is it not a colouration for execution of a major plot? For me all of them FAILED. Buhari oo, Saraki oo, Dogara oo, et'al all failed Nigeria. In fact, APC FAILED!

As all these politicians dey shake Nigeria table anyhow and dangerously, make them no forget say khaki boys still dey ooo dey watch. Thou shall not tempt them. Get your acts right. Be tolerant!

We excel in every other sphere of human endeavour but leadership has become a recurring disaster.

PoliticsRe: Why MKO Abiola Won The 1993 Election, By Naptu2 by EagleNest(m): 11:09am On Jul 29, 2018
I read everything patiently and am so glad I did.

It's kind of piecing together some of the events and actors behind the story of Nigeria especially during Military reign. You can see some of these actors are still recycling themselves today without grooming replacements. Anyway you cannot give what you don't have.

Like Rotimi Amechi (Transport Minister) recently said, greater percentage of wealthy Nigerians made money through government. I am not sure who he is referring to but this Abiola article kind of justifies it. Of course the Dangotes, Otedolas, Rabius, Folawiyos, etc all hit their fortune via government support in one way or the other.

Abiola is so wealthy, intelligent and popular, but I could see imprints of government hand also.

What a powerful narrative. Well done ops. You refreshed my memory and I learnt a lot on Abiola Story. How I wish he became Nigeria president, his life would have been a book to study in school.

FamilyRe: "My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home" The True Story by EagleNest(m):
Please bear my epistle...

INTRO
After hearing the wife's story, I didn't subscribe fully to whole of it because I felt the problem is more deeper than said. Something must have triggered the problem. I did not draw conclusion until I could now hear from the partner.

However I made some predictions based on my knowledge of complexity of marriage and it seems the man just said exactly what I predicted.

VERDIT:
Based on the two stories, I can deduce that the marriage simply lacked trust. The man is terribly ignorant and assuming, while the woman is smarter and a bit cunny (smooth operator).

REASONS:
How on earth would the man explain about "thinking and believing about ownership or joint ownership of a house without asking for document"? Abi na dream? It beats my imagination, considering that you have spent a lot of your share of money on your parents. If you are smart you would've known that such expense doesn't go down well with partner no matter how holy - whether man or woman. You would've been wise enough to find out how the land was bought, etc, that would have triggered the alarm bell and give you time to strategize to manage the situation. What a game! Game of marriage!

And how on earth did the woman cunningly hide away the fact that the house belong to her for all these while. This is a secret you know would blow marriage away when it is unraveled and you still held to it. Why?

It is appalling that the source of the quarrel is simply based on suspicion but how the man did not manage to clear that suspicion is worrying. Is it that the woman wanted to create quarrel to meet a purpose or that the man is actually hobnobbing with someone and denying. Wonders shall never end!

SOLUTION:

1. Mr man , calm down! Two wrongs can't make right. You cannot have your name alone on the document. That's not gonna work. The document should bear Mr & Mrs... End of discussion.

2. Mrs, apologize to your hubby for the insults etc hurled on him when you were suspecting him of infidelity unless he is actually guilty then it should be the other way round.

3. Mr, apologise to her for asking her to pack out of the house even though you said you didn't mean it. That's hurtful irrespective of being said in anger.

4. For the sake of the kids, let go of all the wounds, and try building the marriage again. It's only two of you that can make it work if you create a platform of trust.

5. TRUST IS THE BEDROCK OF TRUE MARRIAGE. YOU HAVE TO BUILD IT THRU TRANSPARENCY OR YOU DON'T HAVE MARRIAGE.
FamilyRe: My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home by EagleNest(m): 8:53am On Jul 16, 2018
paulynpen:
No, you refused to understand my position. You feel the has the right to throw out his wife and kids from the house they built together, you feel he can do so provided he has a reason that is why you keep asking for the reason he went that far, but I am saying he has no right for whatsoever reason to do that because they both have equal share and or stake in the property. You are refused to understand that the man has ulterior motives to want the sole ownership of the house even when his wife has a larger share of the house. He is just looking for a way to place the woman on a tight corner and swindle her of the property and afterward pushed her away, if not he would have agreed to joint ownership since it was a joint effort. Thank God for the wisdom of that woman we would have witness another disheartening scheme of dubiousness from men fired by ego and pride. I repeat, the woman knows her husband and she is justified now. The man would have pushed her out of her house, she is justified
What a conclusion?

I understand your position but you were biased, now when the MSN spent his money in treating his dad, did he told his dad that the money was from his wife? Of course no, so how did he still expect his name to be solely on the property without considering the wife who sacrificed her share?. You try to put holes in the story in favour of your friend without criticizing the MSN inhuman act of throwing his wife and kids out of the house they laboured to build, even if the man had used his portion to join in the building is is fair to remove his wife's from the ownership? Obviously you were biased. Treatment or not, do you think the woman does not have pressing need at that time? If she had used it like him would he have come to drag the house. What I am criticizing him for is his inhuman act, over bloated ego and wickedness
You're still not getting it. And I think you are the very biased one because you are making conclusion already without trying to dig deep on the story.

Your worry is that according to the ops he wants to throw the wife and kids away from the house which of course is unpalatable but nobody have told us why? What exactly happened to warrant that. And if I ask/suggest has it to do with anything extramarital or has the man now have a mistress, some one like u will jump immediately and say I have blamed/condemned the woman to have committed adultery. I ask these questions to get the whole picture before jumping to conclusion. The story have to be sequenced and questions asked at key stages to understand the motives of each key actors.

In my first response to ops, I ask questions, suggest example and scenarios and always add is it correct? This is trying to get more out from the source.

The only thing you understand in the whole story is, he wants to push her out, he has spent his own share of money and the man can now go to hell. Yes, but it will make more sense to know why the turn of events in the marriage.

So may be we can say we are of different school of reasoning. Logical versus surficial.

And the woman has not said anything. I thought she is coming from western world where public office holder resigns when found in a mess like this. Eg Amber Rudd.

You are just trying to form your own story, what she wrote here is very very clear and straight forward but your crooked mind will not allow you see it that way. You prefer to think his father was sick what if it is true the man used his share to build for his father thinking he will use Hus wife's to build for himself?. Stop putting women in shackles its a sign of weakness.
Please always read critically with understanding, not with emotion. And don't label one "crooked mind" just because u don't agree. Put your own opinion and we'll weigh it. If you have been in marriage for such a long time you will know the story is still incomplete even though the woman is at advantage at the moment.

Read the front page on some of her responses and know that there is still something unknown or untold.

I am looking at motives behind each decisions. I broke it down logically with questions which I expect the ops to answer and you just came thinking, I have asked her to surrender the title doc. Haba!

You don't build house overnight and I will repeat was the man in the know about whose name is in the land document before collabo in building. What percentage did he contribute? What did he do for his parents with his money? Treatment or building? These are critical questions to know the truth.

It's sad that the marriage is crashing simply due to poor communication and mistrust. What is the cause of the quarrel in the first place. Is it connected to the issue at hand. The best would be to share the title but we need to know the side of the man's story. why is he man refusing.
FamilyRe: My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home by EagleNest(m): 6:58am On Jul 15, 2018
For me the story is not complete. What caused the quarrel in the first place to warrant separation.

Based on the ops responses, I can deduce the following:

(1) Money was jointly made and agreement made on sharing.
(2) probably the husband used his share for example, to take care of his sick parents in agreement with the wife.
(3) And the couple agreed to use the wife's share to buy land. Both agreed, is that correct ops?
(4) Assuming it's ops sole decision to buy land with her own share...was there a communication to ur husband to such effect before/after the purchase. Was it presented to him as yours or his or joint?
(5) Now the land was jointly developed, am I right? This is where the story appears incomplete. Because if the husband is in the know that the land title is in the wife's name he would probably not have invested so much in it unless there is clarity of ownership. I could smell deception here.
(6) How much percentage contribution from both parties in actual building of the house? I just want to know if the ops did most of it?

(7) Lastly, there is element of unbelievable assumptions in the ops marraige due to lack of communication. This lead to mistrust.

I suspect your alternator has packed up. Even if you buy a new battery it will still drain out if the alternator is dead.

Without the alternator your electrical system is as good as useless.
