people will easily take you for a fool if all they have to do is 'say sorry' without meaning it. Then they'll keep doing what vexes you.

Words mean nothing to me, it means a lot to many people, but like I said, anybody can say anything. I have a friend, when we first met, she would have tantrums, embarrass me in public and just say "I'm sorry" and we would be good. But she always reverted to the same shitty attitude every week and it affected her relationship with everyone around her.

I had to continually put my foot down and tell her 'it's not enough to just say it, you have to mean it by your actions'. And I can say she's truly changed a lot since then.

You're not helping someone by just collecting 'sorry' everytime they display unsavoury character. Be the change in their lives
I agree with your point(s). But personally if I am to choose between two friends one a chronic offender but always apologizes, the other seldom offends but NEVER apologize ; I'd go with the former. IMO though.

We're not confined to engineering .. we're spread out... there's NP course where you'll find less boys.. but there is a course where you find less girls— Engineering
As in ehn the ratio is ridiculous! when we graduated we were about 47 in our class, but only 3 (three) ladies!
But I don't think there is any course that is 44:3 girls to boys ratio. Except may be midwifery.

I forgive people all the time. Just gimme two hours to vent and then we're back.

Can't stay past two hours without talking to someone....oh, and I won't say I'm sorry. I prefer to show it, anybody can say sorry. What matters is do you mean it?
That's the problem, for me it's the utterance that matters the most. Only hearing "am sorry" makes me calm down and forgive. You can repeat the mistake tomorrow so long you apologize.
That Ego feeling to say am sorry is the undoing of most ladies. That's what crashed my engagement.

don't mind him, if you click the link, u will see that it doesn't have any source... I have been following the news early this year when I read it in punch newspaper... the Hausa's that were kidnapped are not herdsmen... they are simply marwa driver carrying out their daily business. 3 were first kidnapped and 2 were kidnapped the following week. evil is evil and we must all condemned evil no matter where it's coming from
GBAM! Thank you!

No sane human being supports kill of human beings except Fulani who will kill even children and women to strike fear in the hearts of occupants of any area the wish to take over for their evil cows to graze.

Are u saying those herds men where innocent?
Or are you saying people must not defend themselves?

Stop this you wickedness already.... Stop scouting for excuses for evil doers... Unless of course you are one of them.
Look at you on the very first page of this thread people are giving kudos to the perpetrators shamelessly, which was what prompted my initial quote. And yes nowhere in this post or any other where it's ever reported that these particular kidnapped five have attacked anybody. And since when does kidnapping, murder and burying people become self defense?

You are ignorant....., the five are wicked Fulani herdsmen. https://www.nairaland.com/3029980/five-fulani-herdsmen-kidnapped-abia/5

Dss cannot confuse people...
OK I stand corrected. but it remains that those five fulanis in particular did not kill anybody in that community. At most they only entered a farm. Anyway let's assume that the destruction of the farmlands and the atrocities committed by their fellow tribesmen qualified them to be kidnapped, murdered and buried in the shallow graves; but what of the other bodies found in the grave?
I condemn killing of a fellow human like that by whoever and under whatever guise. I rest my case.

This report said buried in shallow grave by IPOB how pls? Did they see them burying those bodies? Remember "News: How military,DSS buried IPOB members in shallow graves, dumps others in undisclosed morgues"

What have DSS done to forestor peace in AGATU?

Don't you think DSS is shifting blames of their action to IPOB?
Two wrongs never make a right! You are debunking DSS claim that IPOB killed them simply because no one saw when they were killed but you want me to believe DSS killed others and buried them in shallow graves, so we're you there yourself?
Bottom line I will never support killing and burying a fellow human in a shallow grave by whichever group under whatever guise.
I rest my case.

Since government can't protect her citizens, should they keep quiet and watch Fulani herders exterminate them?
Nowhere in the post did it state that those five were herdsmen. They were referred only as Hausa-Fulani. They could be common shoe shiners.
Also the grave contained about 50 other dead bodies. Even if you are happy about killing those 5 you shouldn't give the perps kudos for those other 50, unless you are that hopelessly cruel.

Did you apprehend the culprit and investigate to confirm that they are affiliates of IPOB? Well, I give kudos to the perpetrators. Fulani herdsmen are on rampage and need something much worst than this.

Except one has not been to the north he is led to believe these figures being branded as being the true state of affairs. Most of the so-called public schools only exit on papers.

They only do so in order to increase their stakes in the sharing formula of the nations cake.

When does an average Muslim had time to attend public schools when the Alfa is they with his long whip
Look at you a reputable institution has given a statistics and you are trying to disprove it based on sentiments. FYI nobody refers to Islamic teacher as 'Alpha' in the north, so stop deceiving yourself that you know sh!t about the north.

It's simple mathematics, it's just due to the fact that we are the most populated region in the country. So even though we have the highest number of teachers we still need more to take care of our teaming school children. But we are getting there.
I hope next time you won't contradict yourself and claim the figures are bogus.
