Politics › Re: Katsina House Of Representatives Bye-Election Results: PDP Beating APC by EazyMoh(m): 7:51pm On May 20, 2017 |
This is interesting! What everyone shall note is that this is not 2015 where every APC candidate got solidarity votes in the north just because of PMB. In fact those in the legislature and state levels are extremely unpopular to the extent that nobody in the north is sure of retaining their seats in 2019. This is mainly due to the perceived lack of cooperation to the president's policies. But if you think this election result reflects people's feelings even towards PMB then you are in a looooong thing! |

ztapi: offcourse i know what you mean but its only based on very wrong assumptions, the IGR of states is a rough reflection of how independent they can be without input from the centre and on that basis i dont think most northern states can do as well as their southern counterparts when it comes to standard of living OGA go check the statistics for the IGR posted here fee days ago. No SE state made it to the top 11! while states like Ekiti, Ebonyi and the likes sat comfortably at the bottom. You keep ramble rousing about break up while not doing a damn thing to actualize it. Dem no born any southerner well if they dont sponsor a bill to expunge the indivisibilty clause in the Constitution. Rubbish! |

DonCortino: Keep trying Busted! You simply can't substantiate your claim. It's embarrassing for a grown ass man to outrightly about a clear case. There are thousands of abduction cases that were never reported by any media. Men, women, boys and girls within Chibok community and many other places. Many of which are school age kids like this particular JSS1 student. Nowhere was it mentioned that she was among those famous Chibok girls, and nowhere was it stated that those 200+ WAEC writing ss3 girls were the only girls abducted in 2014 from Chibok community. Finally I pray your family members are used in a so called grand "scam" like this, since people like you never even believed girls were abducted. |

Politics › Re: Under Review: Claim By Arewa Elders That North Is 75% Of Nigeria by EazyMoh(m): 8:23am On May 19, 2017 |
MetaPhysical: Rarely do I open thread on political discourse, my forte is culture and historical roots. I quite understand the interwoven relationship between politics, culture and history of a people. I am creating this thread to open deep discussion on political claims by Arewa Elders that North is 75% population and land mass of Nigeria. This claim is often associated and branded for ethnic advantage by the Arewa Political body and it goes to say that Hausa/Fulani has thus enshrined itself as the voice and authority of Northern Nigeria, and by extension, the entire Sovereingty of Nigeria. So in this review I attempt to question the ethnic make up of the so called 75% and disrupt the political power embedded in the Arewa brand.
In the next post I separate Tribes found in the Northern Nigeria from the rest. This will represent the people found in States in the NW, NC and NE regions, and what the Arewa Elders sum as Northern Nigeria. It is worthy of note to also point out that they have rejected the zoning policy and refuse to recognize any zonal sections in their region. This does not call for a counter in the South, but it does reinforce the argument for a ethnic-based restructuring of Nigeria.
The 75% North consist of the following ethnics and their states/lands. Stop lying nobody claimed north was 75% of Nigeria in terms of population. |

davodyguy: pathetic.
I responded to another version of the news as below stated
these people are bunch of retards and lunatics
Point 1
Who are the mischief makers? What about Abba Kyari the chief mischief maker? Are they referring to him or to Jagaban?
Jagaban doesn't have your time, you irrelevant mumu. He would not act now, but wait on the fence should buhari not be able to complete his term.
Point 2 of idiocy. No one is disputing that. He was away for over a month, governance continued. If he chooses to stay away till 2019, heaven will not fall. Sick mentalos
This guy is high on somethimg no one knows.
The IPOB of MAssob or Niger Deltans are the one calling the most for restructuring and not the Yorubas, You old F**l.
From this direct attack, it shows they're upset that the Yoruba man is leading the country now.
They have this born to rule mentality, which is pathetic.
Unfortunately it is buhari's health that's failing him and not any other tribe.
No one is undermining him. Do these mumu think if by chance buhari can't continue, a northern automatically becomes the president? Hell no. You see your hate filled life? All this long epistle for over 20 minutes in the front page not a single like! You will kill yourself with pointless hate. It's pathetic! Get a life bro. |

The same referendum/cessation clause was vehemently resisted by the father of all Igbos, the One Nigeria Pioneer Dr. Namadi Azikiwe. |
