Quimica: My brother, nothing is assured in this world apart from death. My chances of securing this scholarship, just like anybody's, is 50% (probability of 1/2). I have been working my ass off since the beginning of the year to ensure that I'm well prepared for the forthcoming exam. Hence, do not conceive that knowing someone big in the organisation automatically puts me on course to securing the award. I have been studying, again like anyone, and pray that I have a good exam and eventually get selected for the award. All the best.

It won't favor them so much. I didn't want comment on this particular issue, but I just have to quote you. I hope you have a plan to fall back to Mr. Middle belter. If/When Nigeria is galvanized as the so called middle Belt you shall be concerned with how to charter the course of your future. You seem to make it appear you despise the so called core north even more than the igbos. I'd advise you chose your side wisely. You can chose to go with Biafra, Arewa, or stand alone. Your dilemma is really confusing. |

Paul is a pure Biblical name and surely Christians bear that name...
Please clarify, am confused and you are bringing another confusion to me...which one is pastor Suleiman again He probably converted and change of name after conversion to Islam is not compulsory. He may have decided to retain his given name and there is nothing wrong with that. |

Immediately they sign it the list will be out.. So you guys have to keep on praying, Because alot of people are after this!! Na wa o! These senators want one slot each for their candidates. |

ciggy000: from my understanding of d PIGB passed, there was no section that mentioned DPR was going to b scrapped or merged rather it stated that the operations of DPR would now b regulated by NRPC.going by that, DPR organization structure remains same and d possibility of such affecting of stalling d recruitment is next to none.in my opinion the only thing delaying this recruitment is d large vested political interest Gbam! |

dayjahvoo: Really? you are 100% sure?.
the dpr, pppra and pef are being merged and you don't think that's a cause for pause?. and you are comparing the PIB to the peace corp bill?
when the house of reps get the bill, they'll have no reason not to pass it and the president will sign. DPR couldn't have known about this development when they advertised.
Now this doesn't mean there won't be a recruitment, but it will most likely be done by the new National Petroleum Regulatory Commission. Which Century do you think the so called National Petroleum Regulatory Commission will be inaugurated, board members appointed and leadership consolidated. It's like you people have decided to believe speculations of what might happen than what is currently officially happening. I'd only say Goodluck with that. I bet you the president won't even sign this so called PIB this year! Giving how slow things happen especially with this administration. But let's watch and see. |

ednut1: 3 Your head dey dere! People only try to different using physical appearance only, but their are behavioural and other general differences at play. e.g. the position of the mother must likely be at the middle. Also due to her maturity she's bound not to pose or dress childishly like that one posing. So I agree with you, 3 could must likely be the mother. |

peepydelano: Mr eazymoh,so the recruitment will still go on and we should expect d shortlisting soon? Lol! Don't put words in to my mouth, I am hoping to get the DPR job as well. I was just trying to correct a wrong impression. However since they got the approval for this recruitment then am 100% sure they will. The problem is when and how they decide to do it. Take for example the FCSC recruitment, they skipped aptitude test and called less than 5% of the applicants for interview with no clear criteria used for shortlisting. Now regarding this DPR, you know there are a lot of interest groups trying to influence the whole thing. Let's hope for whatever that is meant for us finds us with ease. I wish everyone the best. |

therealMcCain: Good morning house
I don't think this DPR will go on for now reason being that Senate just passed the petroluem industry governance bill
a.petroluem inspectorate b.DPR c.Petroluem products & pricing regulatory agency Will be merged into NIGERIAN PETROLUEM REGULATORY COMMISSION
If the president signs it, it becomes law
3 other companies will be created too from NNPC, I don't know what will become of NNPC
So who will conduct a recruitment excercise knowing fully well that they will soon be merged
Some staffs will most likely be retired, sacked, retained. There will definitely be loads of vacancy
TIME is the key factor here
You can download the bill on national assembly website.
I am open to corrections, these are my thoughts Stop spreading conjectures. Are you a lawyer? or did you ask the opinion of a professional before you came to this conclusion? Bill doesn't become a law until it's finally accented by the PRESIDENT. So this bill is in the same category with that Peace Corp bill. Meaning no change what so ever will affect the agencies just because the Senate have passed a bill concerning it. Also don't forget this is a massive recruitment of about 100 personnel. The agency needs them for carrying out their activities successfully. |
