That is absolutely false. Igbo leaders led by Zik wanted a more united Nigeria before independence. Igbos only wanted out because they lost out as a result of the first coup.
Gbam! Thank you!
These people are done telling themselves lies they are now trying to tell it to the rest of the world.

To be fair to the Igbos. they have never wanted to share their country with any one.

all they want is to go.
Shut up there! When the north wanted to break away it was Zik that was traveling lengths and breadths of the country shouting not to allow the north break away.
It was only after the second coup that it dawned on Igbos the taught of dominating the rest of Nigeria especially the north was not possible. That's when they start talking about secession.

@Tonyebarcanista If you think the resurrection of PDP as a new merger party will sell like APC did you are on a looooong thing!
Instead of APC members moving to AYDP (or whatever you call it), expect what remains in the PDP to be jumping to APC just like Koro is trying to do.
Your best bet could have been to all jump into APC, overwhelm it and may be try to seize control.

Ipods are not happy as usual.
As a people with a conscience, even if it was a movie and young innocent girls are kidnapped and at the end regained thier freedom
you are bound to feel happy, touched and glad!
But no, not hate-filled children of bile! They rather sympathize with Boko haram terrorists.
See some of them above, It's pathetic!
Politics › Re: Makarfi-led PDP Triggers Option B, Set To Fuse Into APDA by EazyMoh(m): 11:11am On May 07, 2017
First of all know that not all PDP members would jump ship to this new party that is trying to copy APC and the tactics they used to gain power. This might have worked with APC, but don't count on it working with you.
People like Sule Lamido are too proud to leave PDP not for a ruling party and certainly not for a new one promoted by people like FFK.
Also some sitting governors and PDP big wigs that are sympathetic to Sheriff like Dickson may not join.
Forget APC members, I don't see anybody leaving it for any uncertainty.
In all these scenarios the new party stands to loose and will never be stronger the dying PDP.
Anyway Goodluck with this endeavour.

maclatunji:
Yes, because those that would have voted Atiku voted Buhari. If Buhari did not contest, Atiku would win that primary in a head-to-head with Kwakwanso. He needs to do more to build his base.

The people I listed can benefit from support of others if the conditions are right. I just don't see anybody supporting Kwakwanso outside of his hard-core supporters.
It's like you have no idea what is happening in northern politics. Atiku is nowhere near Kwankwaso in popularity in the North mark my words. but let's wait and see.

Let me use football as an example. A team that loses to the eventual winner of a tournament will not make it to the final. Yet, it may be stronger than the losing finalist.

Kwakwanso could easily place second because those that would have voted for an Atiku Abubakar for example voted for Buhari.
May I remind you Kwankwaso edged Atiku in the previous primary election. Plus NW is Kwankwaso's base not Atiku. therefore, it's those who'd vote for Kwankwaso that voted PMB.
Anyway let's wait and see.
Politics › Re: Top 10 Contenders For The Presidency In 2019 If President Buhari Fails To Run by EazyMoh(m): 8:48pm On May 05, 2017
maclatunji:
He is a contender surely but the power blocks in the APC seem not to favour him.
How do the odds not favor Kwankwaso? He is etched g second most popular politician after PMB. For Ganduje as you seem to make him such a big deal. As far as Kano state politics is concerned Ganduje is still considered a boy kind of like Osinbajo at the presidential level. You need to travel length and breadth of the north and see how people are wearing red caps in solidarity to Kwankwaso.
Seriously odds favor Muazu Babangida more than Kwankwaso?
Politics › Re: Top 10 Contenders For The Presidency In 2019 If President Buhari Fails To Run by EazyMoh(m): 7:37pm On May 05, 2017
Nice opinion maclatunji but you failed to mention the candidate with the highest odds in his favor. And that is Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
May I remind you Kwankwaso was the first runner up to PMB in the last primary election, second only to PMB. So with PMB out of the picture, most of northern delegates votes will most likely tilt towards Kwankwaso.
The only main factor that could work against Kwankwaso is if PMB is against his candidature.
On candidates like Muazu Babangida Aliyu you forgot this is a sitting governor who was defeated contesting senate seat by a Christian in a Muslim dominated zone. So you do the math how that person could make a wave in contesting president.

They are there, they don't just advertise themselves.
I am from Plateau and all my family members, brothers, cousins, aunties, uncles everyone all served in the SE and SS and we all met with others from same state and other northern states.

Core-northerners do not go to school compared to the middlebelt and south and that is why the percentage of northerners may look lower and most core-northerners always redeploy back to the core-north.
Don't mind that village champion who thinks he knows everything whereas he never traveled out of his landlocked forest.
Every state has indigenous corp members who are sent to another state, and it's only natural they also receive.
Most of them from south enjoy a better living conditions when they are posted up north and I have seen hundreds who prefer to stay back and earn a living than to go back to their assumed Eldorado.

Talking about MDA that is is currently in a ceasefire agreement, or ipod that are waiting for continuation of the trail of their leader.
Nigeria may divide but only when and if the north decides it. So hang on tight.
A word of advice try go to Kafanchan or Ijebu and open that your spare part shop dream business of yours. Don't think about dealing drugs though.

When Buhari is busy making everything Fulani, you have no problem.
For us in the South to keep what God gave us becomes an issue to you.

God has blessed the South with so much.

That's why the North is scared of us leaving.

You are lost without us, meanwhile without you we thrive.

Well get ready Becos you will soon go back to your groundnuts pyramid grin

They take oil from the South to build the North.
They also take our human resources.
