Shan George Debunks Claim Of Hanks Anuku Going Through A Hard Time (Photo, Video)

Nigerian actress, Shan George has taken to her Instagram page to debunk the news that her colleague, Hanks Anuku is disturbed and going through a hard time, IGBERETV reports.

She stated this following an alleged "disturbing" video of Hanks Anuku which was shared online.

Debunking the news, Shan George shared a photo and video of Hanks Anuku and herself on a movie set in Asaba three days ago.

A suspected fraudster and his herbalist known as Ike, aka Ogenesu, have been arrested after policemen attached to the Obiaruku Police Station recovered suspected human parts at the herbalist’s place in Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State, IGBERETV reports.

The suspect was driving around 5.20pm on Friday, October 28, when five policemen who were on a stop-and-search duty flagged down his vehicle.

The suspect refused to park and sped off instead, so the policemen chased after him and finally caught up with him.

The policemen, while searching the vehicle, found a note specifying the need for human parts.

"The instruction on the note was that the man should provide a human head, hand and leg. After recovering the note, the policemen asked what he wanted to use the specified items for and out of fear, he said it was for something," a source told the publication.

"So, the policemen embarked on full investigation by visiting the Obiaruku Police Station to obtain a warrant to search his three-bedroom flat and while searching his house, they obtained another written note requesting the same items in the first written note that was found in his car."

The police officers detained the suspect and during interrogation, he mentioned the herbalist Ike.

The suspect led policemen to the herbalist’s place, and while searching the premises, a decomposing corpse was found beside a fish pond.

However, Ike claimed the corpse is that of his child.

He said: "It was my child that was buried; I dug the grave and removed the corpse from where it was buried."

Men of the Ondo state security outfit, codenamed, Amotekun, have arrested a 16-year-old teenager, identified as Precious, for allegedly raping his brother’s wife and nine women in the state, IGBERETV reports.

Parading the suspect before newsmen on Friday, November 11, the state commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, said that the suspect raped the wife of his brother when he travelled outside the town. Precious reportedly walked into the bedroom of his brother and noticed that the wife was naked and sleeping, he then took advantage of her.

In an interview with newsmen, Precious admitted to committing the crime and then confessed to have raped nine other girls at Laosun, a farm settlement in Ondo West local government area.

“In Laosun, I have raped nine girls. Some of them are 19 or 25 years, in the night, I will go into their rooms and start sleeping with them. I do not use gun or knives to threaten them. Sometimes I would be caught and they would beat me and leave me. I have been arrested before. I was arrested for stealing 25 litres of palm oil. I wanted to gather money to use it to buy phone. I came to the house and saw my brother’s wife sleeping naked. I went into the room and slept with her.”

The Amotekun Commander said the suspect would soon be charged to court.

Bandits demanded N10 million ransom for the dead body of late Obadiah Ibrahim, a victim kidnapped some weeks ago in Kaduna State, IGBERETV reports.

The deceased brother, Kefas Obadiah said in an interview at the weekend said that the bandits had collected over N3 million ransom earlier but refused to release the victim who was kidnapped in October 2022.

“My brother’s name is Obadiah Ibrahim, he was kidnapped in early October first week in Sabon Gaya on his way back from Abuja to Kaduna," he narrated.

“Although I wasn’t the one communicating with the bandits. There was a negotiator. Earlier the bandits demanded N200 million and later settled for N3 million plus.

"They said we should bring the money. After giving them the ransom they told us the money was for their foodstuffs which got finished, and that we should go and bring N15 million.

"They later came down to N5 million and three motorbikes and later collected one bike. After collecting a bike we didn’t hear from them again. We try to communicate with them but unfortunately, we were unable.

"Then on Thursday when the negotiator called them, they said our brother is dead. We thought they were joking.

"They said their own men were arrested by police, tied to a tree and killed. So they vented their anger too on our brother because of what the police did to their brother.

According to them, Ibrahim had died on Monday and they informed us on Thursday. We asked for his corpse and they said we should pay them N10m if we want his corpse as they’ll not work for us free of charge"

A yet-to-be-identified man has committed suicide in the Akute area of Lagos state following his separation from his wife, IGBERETV reports.

Eyewitnesses say the man and his wife had a misunderstanding and she decided to walk out of the marriage. Angered by her decision, the aggrieved husband decided to end his life.

A resident of the area, Gallas Oluwaseyi, who shared the story online claimed the man had taken his daughter to a point of sale operator in their neighborhood on Faleye street by Akute junction and asked that all the money in his account be withdrawn. The transaction was yet to be completed when he slumped and started foaming in his mouth. People rushed to give him some red oil but he eventually gave up the ghost.

They later found a bottle of an insecticide, Sniper, in his pocket.

Peter Obi stated this on Monday while appearing on Arise TV’s Morning Show, where he responded to a question bordering on the aggressive attitude of some of his followers on social media.

Peter Obi said that there are some people from his opponent camp who have disguised as his followers to perpetrate indecency. He said that the real 'Obidients' are the ones that are deeply hurt by the deplorable state of affairs in the country.

“I have answered this several times. One, there is infiltration by opponents, and there are those who believe in me who are angry.

I’m telling them please, but some of them are angry. Some of them have been out of school for the past ten years without jobs. You cannot control their anger. All I can do is an appeal."
