Hello all, (warning this post is really long )

If you're thinking of avoiding Chicago POE, that's a good decision . If you want to use Chicago, have all the documents in the world and pray hard

na wa for this Chicago POE! Even if I have host there I won't go there o before person go born for airport! See tension and High blood pressure. angry @maswii thank God you scaled through. My sis in law that wasn't even preggie was kept for so long that she missed her connecting flight. They said she had no plans of going back to naija cos she had only her hand luggage undecided . Some 1 that went solely for shopping. Tufiakwa for that ORD POE. My liver no reach.

She also made me know that dia is anoda type hb vaccine sold in big pharmacy stores that is active within hrs
@ aim07 please for the sake of your unborn baby seek a 2nd opinion from an experienced gynaecologist. There is a standard protocol for handling babies born of hepatitis b positive mothers. HBIG(hepatitis b immunoglobulin) shot is given to the baby preferably immediately after birth to less than 12 hrs after birth, then you can feed the baby. And still the 1st shot of hep vaccine should be taken at both too or less than 48hrs after birth. The Hbig shot is actually expensive so plan for it. It's about 90k but I think if u know a pharm rep you can get it cheaper. Also don't forget the subsequent immunisations for hep b. With this baby is covered by God's grace. Please take this seriously. God will provide. After delivery you can also see an internal doctor or immunologist if you can get one they will run series of tests on you and know how to treat you. Take care. @ Aim 07

I see nothing wrong with referring people to read through or even posting pages. I stumbled upon this thread early this year. I wasn't even preggie then but i started reading through yes from part 1! It's just like combing through a novel. I was done in 2 days. You can start on Friday finish by sunday. And yes I'm a working mom with 2 children. Get your info and then ask valid questions. I don't get it when people get angry or feel insulted on a faceless forum. I've gotten all my data without any pms or asking questions. I'm preggie now #2016 mom And I have it all figured out by now . I got all my pointers from reading through. So peace ladies. Let's read through and ask nicely for guidance. No need feeling insulted.

@peaceful22 i concur! @phema your suggestions on the us visa issue is usually spot on. @poster do all phema said and you are right the earlier you start the better. Be well prepared, makesure you are not found wanting when it comes to "burden of proof" try to be cool, calm and collected. Those people are really trained in analysing applicants. According to my boss they start observing you from the gate. If they ask you you talk if not be quiet. Don't be too forward. And above all pray for God's favour. When i went for my visa interview last year no document was requested for. They only asked if i was married, how many children, my occupation and hubbys too, how long i intended to stay shikena! Gave me 2 years. So above all God!

Thank God for favor all the way. God that started it all is faithful and he will see you through. Enjoy.
He scanned the 4 bags and said 'Enjoy your stay in the US '.

In our bags, my mum packed all manner of food but I made sure they are in powder forms except for pap, palm oil, fish and stock fish. We spent about 10 minutes in all.
No secondary inspection whatsoever. Nobody counted my money but I had everything ready. God granted us the favour all through. I wish other mums the very best as they embark on this journey.

Resting in Dallas now for a few days before porting to El Paso till delivery.

It's not just about informing d embassy dear. Kindly ask ur bff if she declared her pregnancy when she applied or if she wasn't pregnant when she applied.

Yes dear she was already preggie when she renewed her visa. I was even scared that she would be denied but all they did was invite her for an interview to see her financial statement, ask how much cash she was going with, which she had cash with her during the interview. So yes they saw her really obvious baby bump. But that POE was crazy.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by ebonychic18(f): 3:04pm On Mar 04, 2015
Hello everyone please pls @make sure you inform the embassy by sending an email to them. My bff grin is currently in Houston and had issues at the POE she was kept in a room for several hours they told her they would send her back to naija, infact they had brought back her luggage to her. But God intervened through the email that she sent to the embassy and the embassy replied her too. So pls inform the embassy.
