Ighalo. Honestly I would've subbed Iwobi instead of Simon. Seedorf immediately reacted to Samu coming in by bringing on Anguissa. |

Odunayaw: Well, the team can still take the shape of a 3-5-2 with the same players
Ekong-Omeruo-Awaziem Aina-Simon (WBs) Musa-Ighalo (FW)
Hopefully no mistakes on our sides today. I really would have preferred Either of Osimhen or Paul because of the height My thoughts exactly. |

somehow: With Iwobi in all the 3 matches, how many goals have we scored? So much for creativity.
Let Etebo play 10 for at least 45mins. He has done it before under Siasia and we harvested goals. He's also a good shots taker Who will get the ball to him in the final third?? |

facts1234: Please tell Rohr to start Chukwueze and Onyekuru in the next match.
Osimhen should also be given one whole half to prove himself.
The first half is enough your Ighalo to score as many goals as he wants.
A word is enough for the wise. Rohr has already told you he'll pick his "best" starting 11. This is his best starting 11: Akpeyi - Awaziem(Jamilu isn't fully fit and Rohr might not risk him), Ekong, Balogun, Aina - Etebo, Ndidi, Iwobi - Musa, Moses Simon and Ighalo. |

Keep deceiving yourselves. People like Candace Owens are only using this to spite AAs. When Trump called Africa a shit hole - why didn't the likes of Candace come out and say this?? Did she and her silly gang don't praise him and say he was right?? For the morons who are getting gassed up by this nonsense should remember Nigeria is - Poverty Capital of the world - More than 70 percent live on less than a $1 a day - lack of constant water and power supply.
Compare the elite Black American folks to Naija folks and you'll see the difference is minimal at best. I'm not trying to undermine the achievement of naija folks in the states but some ignorant folks should not get carried away and stop dick riding this bimbo Candace Owens. |

BascoVanVeli: Yes and also Solomon Rondon but I expect them to get only one of the 2 leaving 2 other striker slots to fill (Carol and Hernandez). Iheanacho would be a low risk move for them and this is why I really feel it could happen. Hmmm this is true sha. They just got Fornals and are after Joan Jordan and Marc Roca I think so in terms of creativity they'll probably be slightly ahead of Leicester. Might work out for Nacho if true |

BascoVanVeli: Iheanacho to west ham? Arnautovic, Carol and Hernandez all going out the door and Pellegrini had been quoted saying he would love to work with KC again. If Leicester end up feeling like they don't need him I am sure west ham will swoop in for a loan or something. They're after Maxi Gomez. |

AIG07: Spot on.
I said similar thing last year when I noticed a sort of pattern in the Europeans approach to raising formidable team that can go on to dominate for 5 years at the international level.
Anytime you see these European national teams miss out in any major competition, I tell you, they are cooking something up. Their team is undergoing a sort of rebuilding process.
Look @ the French, Italians, Dutch, they've all followed similar pattern. Presently, Netherlands and Italy are pulling all strings together and I won't be surprised if come 2022 one of them stroll to the World Cup Finals. They both missed out at the previous edition but have been improving since then. They are mixing youthfulness with experience. Retiring the previous generation of super stars like Robben, Persie, Kuyt, Pirlo, Machisio, etc. The French did it with Ribery, Benzema, Valbuena, Nasri, after crashing out at the early stage in two successive world cups and guess what? They lifted the trophy.
We've missed out of 2 consecutive AFCONs I was expecting us to have raised a formidable team in our 4years of absence but what will have today is an eyesore... A team who has been together for 3 years under 1manager and still can't play a purposeful football is of no use. it's either something is wrong with the players or the coach.
I don't know when will get it right. Maybe we don't have the talent coming through the ranks like France, Italy and Holland?? |

Sportilitica: My take on Osihmen, he is a decent player that can make a name for himself. To start him against Cameroon in my own opinion could backfire, and he might just fizzle away over time. He should have been used against Madagascar to be honest but it never happened. If I were to coach, I would not start Kalu against Cameroon neither would I start Onyekuru due to team synergy. However I will play Onyekuru latter in the game as he has the trickery and speed to cause them a lot of problems. Samu will start but with the instruction to make sure he plays to instruction of limited unnecessary dribbles and try to create as much as he can. My greatest worry is Awazeim as he will be up against a pacy Basogog. All being said, we should play the game with passion. I know people will not like to hear this but Mikel is needed in a match like this not as an AM but a DM. Moses Simon and Ahmed Musa will start outwide with Ighalo as a 10. Rohr is not starting Onyekuru, Samu or Osimhen. We already know how the guy thinks. |

komekn: I don't agree with you.
But l would say that an astute, forward thinking and intelligent coach. Will tactically structure his team to bring out the best of the attributes of his individual players. That's what he is there to do to create effective team cohesion for competitive advantage.
Musa is possibly one of the fastest forward players in Africa.
We should set the team up to play to his strengths not the other way round. Expect him to play like Zaha when that's not his unique skill set.
It's a failing of the management of the team not the player. You need a very mobile forward for that to work. Ighalo is hit and miss. Musa is still important. Onyekuru will eventually replace him |

Earthquake3: C. Ronaldo was bought at 100 million at 30+ why was nobody talking about age
If you can contribute goals and assists like Zaha does 90 million is not a bad price Are you seriously asking that? Have you seen CR7 numbers?? How many players CR7 age put ups those kind of numbers?? Mahrez an ex pfa player of the year went for 65m last season. Zaha has never performed anywhere close to peak Mahrez yet he should be worth 90m? |
