Oga, go to your school and apply simple as ABC. it is applicable for graduate study in any foreign university except you want to do IETLS.

Get your Proficiency of English from your University in place of IELTS or if you have WAEC with good grade in English too. It depends on the Fresh school that will determine which of the two they will accept.

No, you can only select 3 schools (except if they have changed the application process), however, beyond the application on PTDF portal, apply to as many schools as you can.

I got the award to study Physics and Applications in UPMC but that is not where I am currently studying or the course either because they have cancelled their partnership with UPMC and the school removed from PTDF portal. I had to move to Engineering side where I currently study Nuclear Engineering in IMT Atlantique, a Grande Ecole School in France where PTDF pays 24k euros for us (we are two).

Because of the expensive cost of Nuclear Engineering and their no negotiation stance on cutting the cost(I suppose), PTDF have removed Nuclear Engineering from their list of sponsored subjects to others with lower cost anyway. Aside IMT Atlantique, other France schools on that list are tuition free(public school).

Nigerians and degree certificates are 5 & 6.

I have seen a Professor with 7 Degrees while Alhaji Dangote has one degree as the Richest Man in Africa and among the Hundredth richest in the world.

There is Academic Success and Real Life Sucesss. Life is not what you think of it. Some 2.2 or Third class graduates are doing well on the street than first class and 2.1 graduates while some 2.1 or first class graduates are also doing well than 2.2 or Third class graduates. So, it is vice versa. After grades, you should understand what drives success in the real world. Methods and approaches are key factors to determine what you will become in life through solution mentality. Grades are good but in the world you need solution mentality to be successful.

When you are in school, you strive for academic excellence/success but on the street, drop your degree certificate and strive for real life success with a different formula.

In life, each phases have different methods. It is not the same methods you apply in school you also apply in the real world. Different methods with different approaches. If you applied the same methods you used in school in the real world, you will fail woefully.

Sometimes, we believe because some of us have 2.1 or first class invariably we will do better in real world. Pray to God for success because life has taught me it is more than first class and 2.1. See beyond your grades and strive for excellence in the real world.

The world recognises the successful ones. The dynamism of the world is for those who can survive in the means of changing circumstances not for first Class, 2.1, 2.2 or Third Class grades. Hey! this is Charles Darwin.

In summary, Charles Darwin said, "It is not the strongest (muscle or physical appearance) of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent (First Class, 2.1, 2.2, Third Class graduates) that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change".
