i am sorry to here about the armed robbery incident. It is not an experience you  would  want to wish on anybody. A few years ago i got shot in the head because the bastards wanted my car. I escaped with my life and my car only to have the car stolen  at gun point. what do you do? My man, you just get on with life. My sympathy to you and your folk. Please you guys just get on with life.

astra 2b is 28e. If this doesn't make sense it would help to know what birds you are familiar with. You can take your bearing from them. Do you need channel parameters too?

Any luck with that stuff? I still can't get the bird to fly for me. I must be doing something wrong. I think. The euronews and nbn on w3a are in Spanish. The 09 satl on sirius 4 is a promo channel.

May i pick your brains for one moment. I have a 5m dish that i would like to make mobile, you know, as opposed to stationary. Any ideas as to where to source the equipments for this? Your average superjack or echostar won't shake it never mind moving it.
This dish is the first generation Astra/MFP dish with a heavy steel ring configuration. Why do i want to make it mobile? Well, there a few birds I'd like to have ago at.Cheers.

all
let's watch the etv boys for now and see where they want to go with this new 'order'.

To All Of You
I will like congratulate you all for the dedication you have all shown towards this forum. I have been around a few forums and believe me, none of them measure up to what we have here.
I will like to think that this forum is the forum to join or refer to on matters FTA. With respect to mpeg 4 receivers, it seems to me that the strong option is the way to go. Strong receivers are user friendly and have technical support in this country.
Mr. moderator, George D, Dejsam, olofofo , toxnaija, emexi, adewest, pitodenz and a host of the guys that i haven't mentioned . You guys keep it up. It seems to me that we are making good progress. Muchos Gracias.

the EAGLE is a code name for a phone browser that some of you will be familiar with. What i found from some friends outside of this forum is that, with the right software one can run it on the pc or laptop. It is quite fast. However i have also discovered that when one tries to download stuff it slows. It may well be that one hasn't configured this properly. Hence my last post to emexi on the microemulator. One needs the microemulator for this.

why would you want to mess around with that 6m dish? I suggest you leave it as it is . I do not think that cutting bits of it will solve the problem. I stand to be corrected though.
