"Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, on Tuesday, declared that Nigeria’s economy was coming back strongly with foreign investors making a commitment to invest in the country"

Biggest liar ever!
I want to know where minister Adebayo got his education from?

A promise by foreign investors to come to Nigeria to invest is not the same thing as having delivered on a promise. The first is a condition and the latter is a product.

Total misleading statement to the public.

Garba Shehu--the press secretary to president Buhari has earlier today lied to Nigerians by claiming that Nigeria economy has created millions of jobs without providing evidence to support his claim. And YES, he got away with it because the Nigerian press failed to challenge him for evidence.

When I read the minister Adebayo and Gerba Shehu press statement , I was looking for stats on Domestic products (GDP) report, stats on stable inflation, stats on rising interest rate, stats on wage growth, stats on higher retail sales, stats on high new sales and stats on higher industrial production, but to my surprise, none were cited.

Governments all over the world cite above stats, I have listed to support economic growth and turnaround in economy.

Buhari administration is really taking Nigerians for a ride. This government officials think Nigerians cannot read. YES, I can read and write .

So, I write to urge president Buhari administration officials to stop peddling lies to the Nigerian public because we are not dumb.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan: “For those who have flat , you might think they are men and not women,” she said at Sunday’s event."

Is Mrs. Hassan the president of a country? And the president of what?

Totally unfit to lead. Her statement is not only derogatory, condescending, but also irresponsible

I bet you Mrs. Hassan is a Muslim. Her comments reflect Islamic talking point.

I strongly doubt she is going to be able to keep her job as the president of a country.

What is the number one role of the president of a country?

I argue here, to unite and protect all the citizens. That is not what her statement represents.

I wish someone smarter in Tanzania will be bold enough to go to president Hassan and ask her to resign. It will be the start of healing process because right now, president Hassan is tearing down that country.

I am so ashamed to know that Mrs. Hassan is the president of a country.

Resign ASAP!
PoliticsRe: Attack On NDA Not By Bandits- Vanguard Editorial by eeetuk(m):
"Vanguard Editorial asserted: "Government must return to the path of rectitude and put back the security of Nigeria in the hands of ALL Nigerians"

I disagree!
And how do you do that?
Not the right medicine for the current insecurity problem in Nigeria.

The right medicine to tackle the current insecurity issues in Nigeria is finding innovative ways to assist failed local governments within the state in Nigeria.

You can do that by bringing targeted development assistance as well as modernizing local markets for improved trade to every local government in Nigeria.

Another is investing in decaying infrastructures such as roads, public transportation, good drinking water, and sanitation. Roads are in terrible state through out Nigeria. Public transportation does not exist in Nigeria except Lagos state. Sanitation is awful anywhere you go in Nigeria. Absence of these types of things breeds crime to every part of Nigeria.

Young people who graduate from colleges and universities can't find jobs. That is why many of these young people going into kidnapping and other types of criminal business

And President Buhari administration decision to fill up government jobs with illiterate fulanis gives rise to current insecurity issues in Nigeria. He needs to resign ASAP.

Money talks!
And you can argue that Mr. Uche Secondus was not able to find a friendly judge in River state-- leading him to go to kebbi state to get one.

I wish the court in kebbi state was an appeal court and not another state high court. That is because two courts of similar ranking really make the ruling look purchased.

But Where does this ruling by kebbi state court leave poor people who don't have money to buy justice?

Keep wondering!

"According to her, she woke up this morning craving a husband and is willing to do anything for him. She further added that she is willing to lose weight if he doesn’t like her present weight, as long as he gets married to her."

Bad mistake she is making by putting herself up this way. If I was looking for a wife, I would not ask her to marry me. She simply lost the respect she so deserved.

I don't want my wife to cook for me. It is a slave mentality. How about husband and wife cook for each other?

If I want someone to cook for me, I hire a housemate . Don't get me wrong, she is a beautiful woman, but the problem I have with her, she sells herself too cheap.
PoliticsWho Will Be The Best Candidate For PDP In 2023 To Win The General Election ? by eeetuk(op): 11:57am On Aug 26, 2021
Who Will be the Best Candidate for PDP in 2023 to Win General Election?
By eeetuk

President Buhari lack of leadership has opened the door for PDP to recapture the presidency. The situation in Nigeria is so bad, you can see from the activities of Boko Haram, Islamic state of west Africa and the Al-Qaida flowing from the Niger Republic to Nigeria to compete for influence.

In a subway ride to work each day, people are beginning to ask me about who is in-charge of Nigeria. The question is so insulting, I have to avoid answering the question by changing the topic.

And the good news is all the fundamentals of 2023 presidential election in Nigeria are in favor of PDP winning back the presidency. One of those fundamentals is the law of political gravity---which states that when a ruling party is failing and mismanaging the country, the opposition party wins the elections.

The United States past election results help us understand PDP chances for winning 2023 presidential election in Nigeria. For example, in the US 2000 presidential elections (Bush Vs Gore) Bush defeated Al Gore because president Clinton was caught in a sex scandal with an intern called Monica Lewinsky. Also, President Obama won 2008 presidential election because of 2008 economic recession—leading to auto industry collapse and stock market meltdown. And recently, former US Vice president, Joe Biden defeated Donald J. Trump in general election because of failure to control Covid-19—which resulted in job loses and loss of lives.

That said, Nigeria presidential election in 2023 is for PDP to lose unless a wrong candidate is picked for the job.

The current President of Nigeria, Mohammad Buhari is a disaster. Since assuming office in 2015, economic growth which has been on steady recovery since 1999 is in total collapse stage. Unemployment rate has skyrockets to 60 %, according to recent report by the UN. Nigeria is no longer safe to live. Kidnapping of school children and ordinary citizens is uncontrollable. Militancy group in the northern Nigeria, Boko Haram has killed over 250,000 Nigerians in 6 years of Buhari presidency and displayed over 10 million Nigerians. University of Jos—located in the state of plateau has just shut down its institution because of rising kidnapping and killings of students. Nigerian Defense Academy—an institution which trained Nigerian military officers is not even safe for students to attend school. A few days ago, students were reported killed and others kidnapped were later reported killed. Nigeria needs a new leader now.

Without a doubt, I take the position that if PDP wants to win 2023 presidency, the best candidate for Nigeria is Umana Okon Umana. Umana Okon Umana is currently the CEO and managing Director for oil and Gas zone authority in Nigeria. Since becoming CEO/MD, he has transformed the agency to the best managed and it is ranked number one in good management, according to latest government report.

And in 1999 to 2007, he was commissioner for finance in Akwa Ibom State under Governor Victor Attah. While serving as a commissioner for finance, Mr. Umana uncovered and removed the names of thousands of ghost workers in the state payroll—saving the state billions in revenues. He also served as the secretary to Akwa Ibom State government with distinction and honor.

Unlike many Nigerians who used government to get rich, Mr. Umana honesty and integrity in the managing the affairs of government have never been questioned. Instead, he has received many praises and congratulatory messages in his role as a true government servant.

Under Mr Umana Okon Umana’s presidency, Nigeria will turn years of failures to success in the following key areas.

Corruption

Many years of culture of corruption in every sector of Nigeria society has made it difficult for the Nigerian governments (local, state and the federal) to end poverty, create jobs for the citizens and to develop a prosperous nation. Corruption is using inappropriate ways to obtain money in exchange for some favors. It includes bribery, kickback, embezzlement, and patronage. In a recently published scholarly research article titled “Nigeria: Corruption Arising from Bad Leadership” two authors, Eneayejuni & Evans (2015) asserted: “Corruption has been universally acknowledged as one of the causes of underdevelopment, poverty, low political and economic growth, decay of infrastructure and accumulation of large domestic and external debts. Corruption set away nations from achieving public good and improving the standard of living of its citizens. Corruption retard democratic growth, prevent domestic and foreign investment, create unemployment, infrastructure deficit and slows down economic growth of a nation.”

In the early and mid-1970s, the rising oil price brought a lot of revenues to Nigeria treasury. But years of corruption among top governments officials made it difficult for the government to use this money to develop the country. As a result, Nigeria has decay infrastructures, large domestic and external debts. Poverty went up and economic growth disappeared—leading to rising unemployment and crimes rates among all age groups in the country.

But with Umana Okon’s Presidency, corruption will be a thing of the past. That is because Mr. Umana Okon Umana’s presidency will put an end to corruption on his first 100 days in office. His knowledge in the areas of finance, budgeting and planning is exceptionally good. His policy will end decades of lack of jobs growth, failure to fix decay infrastructures, build new schools, repair existing ones, and put an end to foreign debts—which has robbed Nigeria of the opportunities to invest in Nigerians.

Insecurity
Threat of violence by militant group, Boko Haram has made Nigeria ungovernable. Each day in Nigeria, 20 to 40 lives are lost due to act of violence. In one of the recent articles titled “Nigeria’s Insecurity Crisis—Five different threats” and published in BBC news, article writer, Aliyu Tanko asserted: “Indeed, Boko Haram is expanding into new areas and taking advantage of Nigeria's poverty and other security challenges to fuel its extremist ideologies. According to the UN, by the end of 2020, conflict with the group had led to the deaths of almost 350,000 people and forced millions from their homes.”

The current counter-Terrorism strategy in Nigeria is not working (Solomon, 2012). Insecurity in Nigeria is worse than 1967-70 civil war (Goodluck Jonathan, 2012). Who will disagree? Not me!

This high rate of Nigerians dying each day tells how insecure Nigeria is---a reason why someone like Mr. Umana Okon Umana will be the best fit to lead Nigeria out of the current menace.

Economy
In the area of economy, Mr. Umana Okon Umana knows that lack of adequate infrastructures has made it difficult for Nigeria economy to create jobs for all its citizens. Transportation from homes to work is inadequate. In villages and remote areas of Nigeria, public transportation is non-existence. This makes it difficult for citizens to go out to look for work and to attend to some personal business. Electricity supply is in limited supply. Businesses and factories are unable to run power to serve their machinery—limiting the number of jobs business can create. Good drinking water is limited to those who live in cities. In villages and remote areas, good drinking water does not exist.

Agriculture is another area of economy Mr. Umana’s Presidency will be focusing on from day one. It exists in Nigeria but in small scales—limiting food production to personal use and non for industrial needs. Sanitation’s facilities are non-existence in villages and in remote areas of the country---contributing to poor health.

Tariff is tax paid on goods produced outside the country. It is expected to increase local consumption of goods by increasing the price of foreign goods. Lack of it in Nigeria means no trade is taking place in Nigeria and no wealth is created. Again, effective government policy will be put in place to address the situation.

Lack of confidence in Nigeria local currency (Naira) has made the Nigerian economy to struggle. One area most affected is import. Right now, Nigeria is importing more goods than it exports---giving rise to higher government debts than revenues. This area must be address to create economy that works for all Nigerians.

"The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, has taken over the affairs of the party following the restraining order issued against the National Chairman, Uche Secondus, by a Rivers High Court in Port Harcourt on Monday."

What a stunning development in Nigeria history of party politics. Chairman Secondus should safe PDP and himself by promptly resigning from his position. He should take example from former president Goodluck Jonathan who handed power to Ibramhim Buhari after he lost his re-election. That decision by president Goodluck Jonathan has earned him respect both in Nigeria and abroad.

So, I write to call on Chairman Secondus to resign ASAP. His immediate resignation will help PDP save money and prepare party to defeat failing ruling party, APC in 2023 presidential election.

The last thing I want to hear is re-election of APC for four more years. God forbid, Amen!

I disagree!
All we need now are men ?
Is that true ?
I say no!

So disrespectful to women. So divisive message. You can't unite the party by excluding women. Or thinking that only men have skills and women have none.

That is why Nigeria is not successful because nigerian men think that only men can solve problems.

I think given opportunity, women can lead PDP to victory better than men. I say replace Uche Secondus with a woman.

Enough of divisive literate!
Foreign AffairsRe: Taliban Fighters Killed & Captured After Afghan Militias Seize 3 Districts by eeetuk(m): 6:17pm On Aug 21, 2021
"Videos have emerged on social media purportedly showing militiamen in the province pulling down the Islamic Emirate’s white flag and then raising the red, green and black flag of Afghanistan’s recently deposed government"

A split in Taliban resurgence was inevitable. I saw this split coming the day I heard president Ghani has fled Kabul, the Afghanistan capital. Not all the United states trained soldiers were for Taliban. The faction of Afghan army forces which opposed Taliban is just waking up to see the trouble they will be in when US troops leave. That is why they are taking up arms.

Afghanistan has never been a stable, according to many research studies. Russia fought Taliban for decades and lost a good amount of their soldiers before pulling out.

So, president Biden might have gotten a lot of backlash over pulling out US troops early, but he sure did the right thing.

Why would anyone want to save Afghanistan?
The Afghans are like northern Nigerian muslims. They drink palm wine and consume plenty of opium for all their lives.

Who uses opium and think correctly?

“But my main Striker should be of African Origin, that is my lucky charm to win titles,” Mourinho who had previously coached Manchester United stated"

What a racist statement?
Making mockery of black people is nothing short of racism. Coach Mourinho should be fired for saying that people of African descent are his favorite charms. Or he should be suspended for half the season and asked to offer public apology, fullstop!

Beginning today, I will no longer watch a football match involving coach Mourinho. Enough of his lack of respect for black people.

"Following the rising spate of insecurity in Jos and its environs, the Management of the University of Jos has suspended all academic activities in the institution till

Very sad!
And another evidence to show that Nigeria is a failed state. A failed state is defined as a situation where the center government can no longer able to provide security for its citizens.

We have seen many of these examples in Somalia and Afghanistan.
I therefore call for military take over of Nigeria as soon as possible. When military government was in power in Nigeria, there were peace and security for all Nigerians. People were able to go out and not be afraid to come homes whenever they wanted. Now, everyone is afraid to to go out.

Please, military, return to power now!

What other choice is better?

"Senator Orji and his sons, Chinedu and Ogbonna, are under investigation by the EFCC for offences bordering on misappropriation of public funds and money laundering."

I am not taking arrest of Senator Orji and his son serious. Are you?

And here is why:
Efcc has never lived up to what it was built up to be---- finding, arresting corrupt nigerians proscuting and putting them in jail.

Instead, Efcc has engaged in corruption by taking bribes and letting the criminals to go free .

So, my advice to governor Orji is to give up part his loots and your freedom is yours to keep.
PoliticsRe: APC Denies Zoning President To South by eeetuk(m):
"The caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, has refuted media reports that the party has zoned the presidency to the southern part of the country ahead of the 2023 poll."

I agree with Gov.Buni, 100%.
It is a false claim!
The word 'zoning' is southeast talking point.

The question: why is southeast always be talking about zoning the presidency in Nigeria?
And the short answer is zoning it is the only way southeast person can get to the presidency.

Furthermore, it is because Nobody outside southeast will vote to elect someone from southeast to the presidency of Nigeria mainly because they are selfish and are unwilling to share power.

And the people of southeast often talk of Nigeria as belonging to ibo, Yorubas and Hausas.

And they think ibo tribe is majorty in Nigeria. That is a lie. Nigeria has no single tribe that is majority. However, I will admit some tribes are bigger than others, but that doesn't make majority.

Democracy and zoning are opposite each other. Why would you have election and zoning at the same time?

I figured advocate for zoning don't think it that way .

So, I write to advice the people of southeast to stop talking about zoning issues because 1999 constitution of Nigeria has stated how the presidency of Nigeria will be produced.

Don't forget ibos voted to approve 1999 constitution of Nigeria. Just saying!

"Nigeria has won gold in the 4x400 mixed relay event at the World Athletics Under-20 Championship holding in Nairobi, Kenya."

That is very good for Nigeria. But it is worth to note that US, China, UK, Australia and many other countries holding world record in this kind of event didn't participate in the competition. Or at least were not mentioned in the article as participants.

While I think it is a good achievement on the part of Nigerian athletes, I don't think Nigerians should take a victory lap because many world powers were missing.

Nigerians performed poorly in Japan Olympics!
Foreign AffairsRe: Afghan President Ghani Flees The Country Following Taliban Take-Over (Photos) by eeetuk(m): 4:44pm On Aug 15, 2021
Associated press (AP) has confirmed in its website that Aghan president, Ghani has fled the country. I think this quick and smooth victory by the Taliban caught the whole world by surprise. According to many reports, US and Allies have spent $88 billion in Afghanistan over the past 20 years to prepare the country to defend itself. And here we go, it has not happened.

Winning the war is easy but Governing is not. The Taliban government is going to find it out very quickly.

I predict Taliban government will split into different factions---allowing another foreign invasion. It is not going to be long before the split happens.

In-fighting has always been the enemy of progress, and especially in a third world country like Afghanistan.

The cause of future Taliban split will be some key appointments are going to be made--- leaving many people out. It happens every time.

"Please tell us your institution, discipline and the level you are in your final year (Started already, about to start or just about to graduate?) Also level of study, 400 or 500 level "

Nigerian students have a long way to go in understanding how writing works . And here is why:

As you can see above from the highlighted quotation, the author opens up by inviting students attending nigerian schools to tell the viewers their institutions, disciplines and more, but not a single participant was able to describe what was asked for by the author in the opening remarks.

Are you serious?

Guys, if you are a university student and you can't describe your institution and your discipline to viewers understanding, you should go to writing lab to work on your writing skills.

Good communication skills are key to successful completion of university education. You might graduate, but if you can't communicate, you are not going to be respected.

"Conclusion
After all checks, Pulse can confirm that this quote is fake. Rihanna has no known link to the Igbo tribe."

Very laughable claim by Ibos to suggest Rihanna is genital connected to their tribe. When I first read a story about ibo connection to Rihanna, the first thing I did was to laugh.

That is because there is a long standing pattern by the people of ibos to associate themselves with successful people. A few years ago, ibos claimed former Dallas cowboys running back Emmitt Smith was ibo. They never offered proof. Next they claimed to be Jews--- which I find it difficult to believe. Jews are white and ibos are as black as blackboards.

Where is the connection between ibos and the Jews people?

Ibos are the most confused tribe I have ever known. They need to stop this maniac attitude because it makes ibos to be untrustworthy.

“He had a surgery last week,” an authoritative source had disclosed.

I think report of Bola Tinubu failing health has killed his hope of mounting a serious presidential campaign to be elected president of Nigeria.

He is too old to even think about running for president. What does Mr. Tinubu has to offer Nigeria at his age? It is criminal to even suggest Bola Tinubu should run for president.

And I hope Nigerians will stop embracing Bola Tinubu presidential ambition because it really damages the prospect of getting younger Nigerians to start believing in themselves .
PoliticsRe: President Buhari lands in Nigeria by eeetuk(m):
President Buhari returned to Nigeria after three weeks’ vacation in the UK---has set Nigeria back from creating economy that works for everyone, improving educational system in the country and improving medical services.
How much money did president spend in London? I would argue it is in the neighborhood of $10-25 million. Had President spent that money visiting doctors in Nigeria, it would have created 2500—5000 jobs. Restaurants, hotels, parks, zoo, beaches, airports, hospitals—are the places people visit when they are on vacations. A trip to restaurant by President Buhari in his state of katsina would have hired 100 people to work. Same could have happened in hotels, park, zoo, beaches, airports, hospital and much more. Put this together, you would have had thousands of people in the state of Katsina, not employed today have jobs if president Buhari had vacated in Nigeria.

In 2023 presidential campaign, I want to hear candidates for all offices in Nigeria talk about their vision for their localities and Nigeria. I want to hear those candidates draw a stark contrast between what they will do differently compared to what Buhari administration has represented Nigeria in the past 6 years. That will help voters to choose who they want to represent their communities in congress.

Buhari administration is the worst government, Military or civilian Nigeria has produced since it gained independence from UK over 60 years ago. In 6 years of President administration, Nigeria has lost over 100, 000 lives and have 8 million others displaced due to kidnapping, ethnic violence and militancy. Yet, you have a sitting president of Nigeria taking vacation in a foreign country.

You have got to hate what Buhari government represents!
PoliticsPDP Cannot Win 2023 Presidential With Uche Secondus As The Party Chairman by eeetuk(op): 12:31pm On Aug 12, 2021
PDP Cannot Win 2023 Presidential with Uche Secondus as the Party Chairman
By eeetuk

Keeping Uche Secondus as PDP National Chairman will guarantee APC victory in 2023 presidential election. Mr. Secondus comes from a well-known corrupt family. This family includes Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke--- is a former minister for petroleum under president Goodluck Jonathan and she is from Rivers State. As a minister, Mrs. Alison Madueke stole billions and she is now living in the UK to escape arrest from the Nigerian authority. Rotomi Amaechi is the former governor of Rivers State and now minister of transportation. When Mr. Amaechi was the governor of Rivers, he stole $757 million and placed it in Bancorp bank. That money has long been returned to Nigeria and after Amanpour reporter uncovered the loots. And patience Jonathan has been reported to have stolen billions and she is currently fighting the courts in Nigeria to keep the loots.

Mr. Secondus corrupt past and his association with other prominent people from River’s state will keep voters away from voting for PDP—thereby guaranteeing APC re-election victory. Premium times is a Northern Nigeria newspaper. In its 2016 news article titled “EFCC arrests former PDP acting Chairman, Uche Secondus” this article documented series of criminal activities that led to Secondus arrest. One of those illegal activities by Chairman Secondus was receiving buses— [this was based on document obtained from EFCC.]

Given above report, who will vote for a party led by Chairman Secondus? In my view, I cannot see it. Chairman Secondus symbolizes everything that is wrong with corruption in Nigeria. Corruption is one of the major reasons Nigeria is not a successful country. Corruption increases inequality and places hardship on the citizens of Nigeria.

In Nigeria, inequality is noticeable in every community. There is no middle class in Nigeria. People who live in Nigeria are either rich or poor. As a result, violence crimes have emerged all over the country. Boko Haram, the Northern terror group came about because of inequality in the distribution of wealth in Nigeria. According western and Nigerian media report, the terror group has killed over 500,000 Nigerians and drove 8 million out of their homes.

Today in Nigeria, reports of daily killings as a result of hardship due to corrupt politician like Chairman Secondus run in the 100s. And over the past 7 years, kidnapping for ransom has skyrocketed, ethnic violence is rising, and unemployment among all age groups remained very high. All these can be traced to corruption by Nigerian politicians.

Meanwhile, there has been a report of Chairman Secondus networth rising. According to several reports, Mr. Secondus net worth when he became PDP chairman in 2016 was less than $500, 000. Today, Chairman Secondus net worth is estimated to be $5-10 million. What brought this rising income into the pocket of Mr. Secondus. It is corruption.

In 2018, and according to cable news report, Chairman Secondus was accused of receiving exotic cars in the amount of N1.2 billion. The Nation newspaper quoted efcc sources of crediting Mr. Secondus on spending N1.28 billion to acquire exotic vehicle. This raises one question: can a party with Uche Secondus as the party chairman win presidential election?
No way!

Integrity defines voters. Nigerian voters are going to scrutinize all candidates for public offices before elections. One of the laws of political gravity is that when a party in power is mismanaging the country, the opposition party wins. That means 2023 is for PDP to recapture the presidency of Nigeria. But with Uche Secondus as PDP chairman, that hope is slowing fading away. And that is why PDP must replace Mr. Secondus if the party wants to win 2023 presidential election.

"Mr Olatunji is said to have taken a new wife on July 4, 2021, and since then, he is alleged to have been subjecting his first wife to physical abuse."

Another example to show the world that Nigeria is unsafe for women. No nation on earth will allow Mr. Okatunji to walk again as a free man given the kind of abuse meted on one of his two wives just because she objected to her husband taking a second wife.

Which state does this happen?
The report said Lagos state in Southwest geopolitical zone!
Lagos state is on the record for allowing men to take as many wives as possible. That is why Mr. Olatunji thinks he can get away with this kind of abuse. No he can't

SO, for those of you who are from lagos state, don't ever say that you have a governor. I think the way that woman was abused speaks directly to unfitness of the Lagos state governor.

I call for the arrest of Mr. Olatunji and his execution effective immediately. Short of placing Mr. Olatunji in jail for life, the Lagos state government should resign.
PoliticsRe: PDP Crisis: Why Secondus Can't Be Removed From Office Till December - Enoidem by eeetuk(m):
"It stated that the meeting extensively deliberated and agreed that the National chairman Prince Uche Secondus had grossly mismanaged the party."

I agreed!
This confirmed what other PDP members have been saying before and after they have defected From PDP to APC.

Now I want to know what is included in grossly mismanagement. Does accusation of grossly mismanagement involve money or personnel mismanagement or both?

Regardless, evidence of grossly mismanagement should be presented to public for consideration. This will help to accelerate Chairman Secondus resignation rather quickly. Chairman Secondus continuous stay in PDP as chairman is hurting the party chances for defeating APC in 2023 presidential election.

And President Buhari poor leadership skills in mismanaging Nigeria have really opened up an opportunity for PDP to take advantage of to nominate a candidate who will win 2023 presidential election

That is why Chairman Secondus must go,as soon as possible!

"A former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has promised to build an Islamic University in Daura, President Muhammadu Buhari’s hometown."

Pure act of bribery!
Rochas Okorocha promise is an attempt to buy president Buhari to push for APC to offer him 2023 presidential ticket. It will not work because Mr. Okorocha is a known thief in his home state of Imo state. In fact, if Mr. Okorocha is offered 2023 presidential ticket by APC, PDP will will win in a landslide. Mr. Okorocha has no political capital outside southeast. I can't see any region in Nigeria voting for Okorocha.

Furthermore, current Imo state governor demolished Mr. Okorocha property in Imo state because he was unable to provide evidence for how he got money to build schools and hotels all over Imo state.

Mr. Okorocha is arrogant. Day in, day out , Mr. Okorocha public conduct invites military take over of Nigeria. These so called politicians are too corrupt to be allowed to stay in power.

When you look at the history of military take over of power in Nigeria, it has always cited corruption as the reason. And Mr. Okorocha behavior speaks directly into that narrative.
PoliticsRe: Kiddwaya's Mum, Susan Waya Declares Interest In Becoming Benue Governor (Photo) by eeetuk(m):
Susan Waya declared her interest in running for Benue state governor ----is the best thing that will ever happen in Nigeria. Since 1960 when Nigeria gained independence , all executes mansions are always filled by men and nothing good has come over them. And studies have shown that women are more likely to succeed if they are given opportunities to run organizations. We have seen this in USA and in Europe where women are executives organizations tend to be more successful than those run by men .

Benue state can make history by making Susan Waya state governor. And I strongly encourage people of Benue state to set examples. That kind of example can be repeated in every state in Nigeria

Can Benue state become the first state in Nigeria to make a woman a state governor? Only time will tell!
PoliticsRe: PDP BoT Rejects Interim Exco, NEC Members Told To Withdraw Resignation by eeetuk(m):
"After Thursday’s BoT meeting, a former President of the Senate, David Mark who addressed journalists, said, “We resolved at the meeting to set up a committee that will look at the situation."

Terrible decision!
Chairman Secondus resignation is the right decision, not setting up committee. Mr. Secondus is a poison pill for PDP. His corrupt background is killing the party. He is killing the party. PDP party members are defecting to APC in record numbers. All because of Chairman Secondus. Can you believe that?

And 2023 presidential election is around the corner and Mr. Secondus is still sitting as the chairman--- proves PDP is not serious about winning the next presidential election. Get Chairman Secondus out of the chair. He brings no excitement to the party at all.

APC is vulnerable for defeat right now. President Buhari leadership is making APC party vulnerable for defeat.

Under president Buhari, 5000 Nigerians are dying every month. Boko Haran is getting stronger. Kidnapping is on the rise. People are fleeing Nigeria in record numbers. Unemployment among all age groups is skyrocketing. These are things that make Nigerians hungry for change

When will PDP take advantage of this opportunity?

It will be a terrible thing if APC is allowed to return to power in 2023.
PoliticsRe: PDP Drafts Governors, Ex-Ministers To Resolve Internal Crisis by eeetuk(m):
PDP sets up committee members comprising former governors and more to resolve crisis rocking the party--is like adding fuel to fire.

It is not going to work unless party Chairman Mr Secondus resigned. He is very corrupt. He was brought to head PDP by former president, Goodluck Jonathan. He will collect kicked backs to let people join the party. And Chairman Secondus is from Rivers state---the most corrupt state in Nigeria. Think about that for a minute!

Bare in mind that 99.9 % of people who got elected in 2007 along with Goodluck Jonathan are corrupt.

They include Rotimi Ameachi, Godwin Akpabio, Dr. Saraki, and all the former governors.

You can't have peace with Chairman Secondus. He is a poison pill. He is killing PDP. He is tribal and religious bigot. He would not leave PDP until the party is burned to the ground.

Get Chairman Secondus out of PDP, and you will have a winning party again!
PoliticsRe: Lai Mohammed Accuses Nigerians In Diaspora Of Financing Secessionist Groups by eeetuk(m): 8:51pm On Jul 27, 2021
Report: “The Federal Government has accused some Nigerians in the diaspora of financing the secessionist activities of separatist groups in the country and spreading fake news. This allegation was made by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Tuesday in Abuja, at a meeting with the members of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO), UK Chapter as part of the activities marking the initiative tagged ‘A Week in and for Nigeria.’"

A Product of government propaganda outfit!
Did anyone in this media briefing by Alhaji Lai Mohammed ask the information minister for evidence—indicting Nigerians in diaspora of financing secessionist activities?

No, because those reporters were too scare of Buhari. Good journalist asked follow-up questions to establish the credibility of government side of the story. I bet you, southern Nigerians make up majority of journalists who interviewed Lai Mohammed and they failed to ask for evidence regarding his claim. That is why Northern Nigerians are winners, and Southern Nigeria losers.

Very disappointing, Nigerian journalists allowed Lai Mohammed to get away with this kind of false claim. Shame on them!

Igbson1 "the Fulani hegemony do concede to ‘restructuring’ Nigeria, you can bet it will be a watered-down rubbish that hardly meets the expectations of those angling for it or those angling for secession! You see the ‘magic’ they did with the PIB and electoral reform bill!

Any fool that thinks we can free ourselves from these murderous, vindictive and power-hungry leeches has another think coming!"

I agree, 100%. Northern Nigeria people will never sign up for restructuring unless they are 100% it will be more beneficial to them than the south. They did it in 1967 civil war. They did it in 1993 geopolitical zone. And they did it again in 1999 constitution.

Yet, southern Nigerians often claim that they are smarter than the north. It is a lie. Victory after victory, northern Nigerians come out winners

When will southern Nigeria come home with a victory?

Those of us from the south need
to really re-examine what we support because we are losing too much to the north. I am against restructuring Nigeria because northern Nigerians are going to get every thing they want and south will go home empty handed.

Pierocash: "If you want peace and security, restructuring Nigeria back to regional government is the only option. In regional government, every region is in control of it security ,and resources."

No way for re-emerging of regional governments in Nigeria. Never! Regional governments produce oppressive regimes to take wealth from poor to the rich.

When I first saw story about restructuring Nigeria, I knew where it was coming from--southeast. For people from southeast, it is about how they can conquer other people.

Thank God Nigeria has moved past regional governments. Today, Nigerians are talking dividing Nigeria into different countries. That is what I support.

So, Say no to restructuring Nigeria and yes to breaking Nigeria into different countries.

Restructuring Nigeria, Don’t Buy It.

Calls for restructuring Nigeria are sham exercise. It is not aimed at strengthening Nigeria, but to make those who are already rich to be richer. You are never going to hear supporters for restructuring Nigeria defined what restructuring means and how it will be difference from the current system of government in Nigeria. All you hear is restructuring! Restructuring!! Restructuring!!!

Tell us why Southern Nigeria will be better off in restructuring Nigeria, and so far, no supporter of restructuring Nigeria has stepped forward to make a case for restructuring Nigeria.
Please drop the nonsense!

To me, calls for restructuring Nigeria sound like a repeat of 1999 constitution—which only benefits the Northern states of Nigeria and leaving southern states poorer and poorer. The sad thing about the call for restructuring Nigeria is the supporters are dominated by the Southerners—a region of Nigeria you will think people are smarter, but they are not. Northern Nigerians outsmart Southern Nigerians in revenues distribution formula, federal projects allocations, staffing federal agencies, local and foreign policies initiatives and much more. When will victory ever come to the Southern Nigeria?

I don’t want and won’t support restructuring Nigeria, full stop.

Little Background about Nigeria.
In the 1960s when Nigeria gained Independence from UK, the system of government practiced then was a republic. Nigeria was divided into four regions: North comprising Hausas and the Fulani, Southwest comprising the Yoruba, the Midwest, the eastern region comprising Ibos, Ibibio, Ijaw. Yet, the federal system of 1960 never worked because it soon led to 3 years of civil war (1967-70), resulting in the killing of 1million Ibibio and 1.5 million Ibos respectively. At the end, Northern Nigeria benefitted more from the outcome of Biafran civil war than the south. But South was the region that wanted war more than the North—a parallel to restructuring Nigeria, currently in discussion.

Furthermore, the 1967-70 civil war which led to breaking up of Nigeria into 12 states to weaken Biafran support in the eastern region. However, separating Ibibio and Ijaw from Southeast was the only good news that came out of the entire civil war. There were reports of jubilations and celebrations from Calabar, Port Harcourt, and UYO when news broke—suggesting that Ibibio and Ijaw were no longer part of Southeast. Everybody from the street of Port Harcourt to Calabar and UYO was relieved not to be part of Ibo. Ibos are greedy and selfish. They dislike sharing wealth with other people. They like to dominate others. And Ibos are not successful in anything, though, they love to exaggerate their credentials. They produce nothing other than buying and selling what other people have made. Is that a success story?

And In 1993, General Sani Abacha divided Nigeria into six geopolitical zones by arguing it would make allocation of country revenues more effective. That rationale was a con job as well. And, as we have seen over the past several years, the main reason for the creation of geopolitical zones in Nigeria was to take money from oil producing states and re-allocate it to states in the Northern part of Nigeria for their regional development. That is another victory for Northern Nigeria. But where is Southern Nigeria victory in geopolitical creation? I cannot see it!

Question’s supporters of restructuring Nigeria should ask and never ask:
That said, those calling for restructuring Nigeria are yet to answer the following questions:
 What will happen to current geopolitical zones if restructuring Nigeria succeeded?
 Will restructuring Nigeria bring back regional system of government?
 Will central government exist in restructuring Nigeria?
 How will the presidency be decided?
 Will states control their resources
 And more

Recently, a group of Nigerians living outside Nigeria was formed. This group new name is called concerned Nigerian democrats (NADECO). It is headed by Lloyd Ukwu. The problem with this new group is it has already thrown its support in favor of restructuring Nigeria. Its support for restructuring Nigeria is suspicious. It is suspicious because the group made no effort to tell Nigerians what restructuring is.

Lloyd Ukwu, in a press release published in the Southern Examiner, supporting restructuring Nigeria, said: “ "Nigeria is quickly degenerating into a rogue state in its irrefutable and irredeemable, rapid descent into lawlessness."

*NADECO further observed that it was the same Gen Buhari administration of 1984 that orchestrated the abduction of Mr. Umaru Dikko in London.

It observes that "recently Sheikh Gumi, a diehard Buhari supporter, was showering praises on bandits whom he said were in it just to make money and not to kill adding that "these are bandits that shot down an Airforce jet Monday 19th July 2021."

Hello! Mr. Lloyd Ukwu.
All Nigerians already know what President Buhari is---he is a tribalist. But please tell us what is restructuring Nigeria and why it is the best thing for Nigeria?

Nigeria will never go back to regional government. Because that is what Ibos are hoping restructuring Nigeria will bring. If restructuring Nigeria means dividing Nigeria into 36 countries, I will support that 100%. But any form of changes that will allow Nigeria to remain in current form is likely going to lead to another civil war.
And I say no to restructuring Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Travels To London For Global Education Summit, Medical Check-Up by eeetuk(m): 10:29am On Jul 26, 2021
President Buhari to travel to UK for global educational summit and to attend medical check ups----sends a very confusing message.

Here is the guy who rose to the rank of the presidency with only six grade education.

What message does this send to Nigerian children?

That going to school is not important?
And that dropping out of schools is okay because they will become president as well?

I think attending medical check ups is a reasonable excuse for president Buhari, but attending educational summit hurts the case for educating Nigerian children . President Buhari is not a good role model for educating Nigerian children. He dropped out of schools. He is a tribalist. He supports sharia law. He spoke highly about boko Haran during his presidential campaign in 2015. President Buhari is a wrong messenger for Nigeria.

Please, ask president Buhari not to attend educational summit in UK. He is just too unfit to play that kind of role.
