David Mark, you have the support of most Nigerians on this one. Nothing do you.
PoliticsRe: A C N Rejects Kogi Polls Result, Alleges "scientific Rigging" by efisher(op): 6:54pm On Dec 04, 2011
UFOs from mars were recruited to do the rigging and they left without a trace. Very scientific method indeed!
PoliticsRe: Jinx! The North With Poverty; The Leaders Must Be Stoned Before June Ends by efisher(m): 4:08pm On Dec 04, 2011
Only radical development in agriculture and solid minerals can save the north.

BusinessRe: Edo State Proposes N148.87bn Budget For 2012 by efisher(m): 3:43pm On Dec 04, 2011
Ugbowo Lagos Rd is a federal road. Blame the FG for frustrating that project. If you have been to Edo State recently, you will see clearly that Oshiomhole is the best thing to have happened to that state since Ogbemudia.

PoliticsRe: *~ Gbawe Voted The Politics Section Poster Of The Year *~ Congratulations by efisher(m): 2:29pm On Dec 04, 2011
Let the votes determine the winner but we all know that nairaland politics section 2011 was what it was because of Beaf. That you cannot take away from him. Capisce?
PoliticsRe: Kogi Guber Election Updates by efisher(m): 2:00pm On Dec 04, 2011
PDP is just too strong. I wonder when the opposition will ever be ready to take over. If CAN had won this, it would have been the beginning of a new era. Unfortunately, that era may never come.
PoliticsRe: *~ Gbawe Voted The Politics Section Poster Of The Year *~ Congratulations by efisher(m): 9:35am On Dec 04, 2011
@ Lateef, consciously or unconsciously, everyone knows that Beaf is the nairaland politics section "man of the year" whether or not he gets this particular award. The guy occupies his own niche.
PoliticsRe: Kogi Guber Election Updates by efisher(m): 9:54pm On Dec 03, 2011
I'm loving this! I hope there will be no last minute surprises.
Business To BusinessRe: New Arrival: Generator That Doesn't Use Fuel, available For Sale by efisher(m): 6:25pm On Dec 03, 2011
If it doesn't use fuel, what is the primary energy source? Can u explain the engineering behind this generator? If I am convinced, I can help you market this product. Awaiting your response.
PoliticsRe: Kogi Guber Election Updates by efisher(m): 5:18pm On Dec 03, 2011
I really hope ACN wins this one!
PoliticsRe: Money, Money Everywhere By Nasir Ahmad El-rufai by efisher(m): 5:17pm On Dec 03, 2011
Once again, he has shown that he has a firm understanding of the underlying issues. Nice piece.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Intensifies Consultations On Subsidy Removal by efisher(m): 6:55am On Dec 03, 2011
I agree with the "legislooters" on this one. A concrete action plan has to be rolled out and followed doggedly. I support removal of subsidy but we have to protect ourselves against the corrupt system. There is every likelihood of the savings made to be looted by the roaring "politrickcians" who are constantly seeking for extra state funds to be devoured.

If I had my way, I will also ask that the funds saved be channeled specifically into power generation, revamping of refineries, rail transport and agriculture (in order of importance to energy security).
PoliticsRe: Senate Release Names Of Fuel Subsidy Beneficiaries by efisher(m): 6:40am On Dec 03, 2011
There is no shocker in this news! What we need is proof that the volume actually supplied to Nigerians over the period is significantly less than the volume subsidized. I.e. We have to prove that these marketers inflated their volumes. They have every right to collect whatever billions accrue to them if they have supplied the right quantity.

Excellent governance by the comrade. Keep it up!
BusinessRe: Motorcycles (Okadas) Banned Nationally From December 31, 2011? by efisher(m): 5:24pm On Dec 02, 2011
Let's get this clear. What has been banned? The USE of or the IMPORTATION of motorbikes?
BusinessRe: Motorcycles (Okadas) Banned Nationally From December 31, 2011? by efisher(m): 5:19pm On Dec 02, 2011
In fact, I can bet 1 million dollars that this will not work.

The only thing that can make sense is if all motorbikes will now be produced locally and imports stopped. We may be misunderstanding this as someone else said earlier.
BusinessRe: Motorcycles (Okadas) Banned Nationally From December 31, 2011? by efisher(m): 5:14pm On Dec 02, 2011
I seriously doubt this news.
BusinessRe: Motorcycles (Okadas) Banned Nationally From December 31, 2011? by efisher(m): 5:06pm On Dec 02, 2011
Wrong move, wrong timing except it is meant for the quick disintegration of Nigeria as someone postulated. On the other hand, it could be a diversionary tactic to get people removing their focus from the subsidy issue to something more painful!
PoliticsRe: UK, Amnesty International Kick Against Nigeria’s Anti man-lover Law by efisher(m): 11:33pm On Dec 01, 2011
Let them go and tell that nonsense to Saudi Arabia, Russia and China first.

If we are to be very frank, Beaf is the clear winner. No contest!

For me, the return of Okonjo - Iweala was one of the best things to happen this year. Anyway, it's different strokes for different folks.
