@mitofag, funny enough, you just acted like a terrorist with that post!

The best approach to this problem should be to pursue total JUSTICE no matter whose head the hammer falls on.

What exactly is the message? Is boko saying "No Retreat, No Surrender" or FG saying "Negotiate or Die"? Time will tell.

My good friend, take this as the words of an expert: Oil will still be here in 200 years! It will only be more expensive and difficult to extract. We still have a long way to go.

BusinessRe: Nigeria's Economy Is At A Crossroads - World Bank by efisher(m): 2:12am On Sep 17, 2011
Obviously removal of subsidies (as we currently have it) is one of the targets of this report. . . And I support it.

On the other hand, Green or yellow, oil & gas will still play a key role in the next 100 years and I don't see oil prices crashing in the next 50 years simply because of the demand in the emerging economies. Green remains very expensive for now and will take a long time to develop and replace existing systems.

PoliticsRe: Seriously Can Nigeria Be Developed In 18 Months? by efisher(m): 5:51am On Sep 14, 2011
No magic can COMPLETELY transform a country like Nigeria in 18 months but some visible progress can be made.

How do I rate the current Government?

1. Power: There is visible improvement and a lot of work going on both in policy making and project execution. I work and live in a place where I can physically see the construction of new power infrastructure and I can testify the heat is on! I score GEJ 65% here.

2. The Economy. The day Okonjo Iweala threw her hat in the ring, the game changed. I don't need to say more. Read the news. I score GEJ 80% here.

3. Other Infrastructure (Roads, rails, ports, etc): I've heard lots of great plans with challenging timelines. This is capable of transforming the nation. How well FG can execute these plans will be the key deciding factor. For the plans, I score FG 35%.

4. Anti corruption: Maybe I'm missing something but I can't see any serious efforts here yet. But GEJ said during his media chat that we should watch him. Nevertheless, I score him 20%.

5. Insecurity: Here is where I am completely unhappy with the FG. Before the UN bomb blast, I would score GEJ 0%! Things only changed after that unfortunate event. I won't blame GEJ for the occurrence of these unfortunate events but I totally disagree with the political approach earlier adopted. Now I score GEJ 10%. The day the Boko Haram sponsors are arrested, I will review my score.

This is my verdict after 100 days in office but I believe these scores will improve over time.
This is the first time I actually see an FG with a vision!

Let's keep hope alive.

PhonesRe: Pre-registered SIM Cards: Result Of Half-Baked Solutions by efisher(m): 5:32am On Sep 12, 2011
The registration process is too disorganized and sometimes cumbersome. The purpose will end up being defeated. A national database should have been opened and made available online for easy access and such that multiple registrations can be tracked. But then, what should be the maximum number of line each person can register? NCC please, do the thinking!

PoliticsRe: North Lags Behind In Dev,says Fg by efisher(m): 4:33am On Sep 10, 2011
Mr. LUGE, let me educate u a little. Oil was not first drilled in Nigeria with "groundnut money". Oil exploration and production was funded by the international oil companies like Shell. They invested their own money, produced oil, sold it and paid royalty to the Nigerian government. I hope you can bring yourself to learn that for a start.
