On to condition 1. The results announced so far suggest PDP has carried the day even with the stiff opposition.

i.am a vibrant young man living in the NORTH but i.m frm south n guess what, the core muslim politician can never defeat a christian polititian in a free & fair election. cos the christian lived in most of thier domain wit thier bussiness spreading across all over the crany of the core muslims.

Sorry bro, it's game over. Buhari did not hold tightly enough to some very important votes in the North. He was supposed to stay above 80% in NE+ NW and 55% in NC to achieve a run off regardless of SW votes. I have a detailed spreadsheet and the results from Kano, Sokoto, Jigawa, Kwara and Gombe have given him away already. Even with 95% in the rest of NW, he cannot recover.

The widepread voter apathy in most of the southwest outside Lagos is going to hurt Jonathan. He's not picking up enough votes to overturn CPC's lead in the north. Ribadu actually won in Osun taking away precious votes from PDP.

Bros, the apathy against Buhari is far worse in the South. the nation is better off with GEJ.

Confirmed with GEJ having about 30% in Gombe, Sokoto and Jigawa final result. The others are sure states (17 states in SW, SS, SE; plus at least 25% in Plateau, Kwara, Kogi and Taraba plus FCT).

The result is very credible. Edo state is one state that loves GEJ extremely well. They may not like PDP but they are not blinded by that.

The ACN national leadership should expel Oshiomole from the party for losing to PDP. This is similar to what he did to people from Edo central in his cabinet.

GEJ has broken the jinx of electoral conduct in Nigeria. That is a mighty plus for him especially when Buhari failed woefully in the same area by destroying Democracy and refusing to consider a return to civilian rule by an election in the 80's.

ACN did not betray Buhari. They had NO DEAL. Rather, it was Buhari who betrayed Nigerians by destroying the chances of a more promising candidate (Nuhu Ribadu) and tempting a vibrant activist (Tunde Bakare) with his cheap carrot.

It was partly free but mostly fair. Why do I say so? Partly free because in a significant number of places (esp the extremities), there was voter intimidation. It was fair because, in more controlled areas the votes expressed the final picture of the result. That includes areas like in the SW and Abuja where there was minimal irregularity. In the more compromised areas (NW & SS), each one outsmarted the other! So total valid and legal votes for PDP remains higher than that of CPC. For every underage vote, there is an equal and opposite over-print vote. Mind you, many of Buhari strongholds also witnessed inflation of figures. Lol.

Sharia reporters also failed to mention that Buhari embarked on widespread rigging by inflation of number of voters, underage voting and voters intimidation.

@ edoyad, the Kano people and the northerners are good people. But the animals like the one who made the animalistic statement (Habib Bazallahi, a local official from Buhari's party), should be controlled properly.

Animals in human skin. Buhari is so foolish that he cannot think of calming his people down. He will even make them do worse. If Bakare knows what is good for him, he should go and hide inside his house because they will start with him for his wild wild campaign.

Nigeria can never prosper or be regarded as an honest Country until the things coming out Igbo areas are set right. Nothing truthful has yet to come out of these areas and this is one of the reason Nigeria is a pariah.

The Igbos are solidly behind GEJ and the North Westerners are solidly behind Buhari. If there are any irregularities, the North is as guilty (if not worse) as the south. The voting population of the north was inflated by registering children.

Actually, GEJ has already won.

He needed support from 2 out of the big 3 in Nigeria.

GEJ got his support from both Igbos and Yoruba. Buhari gets his support mainly from the Hausa-Fulani.

True but if NC falls to Buhari's side, there will likely be a runoff. GEJ needs to get so much more from SW if he is to survive outright. I believe at the end of the day, the winner's margin will be very small.

Buhari looks good to go with the 13 states of the NW and NE, while Jonathan is likely to have the 15 states of SW, SE and SS.

The remaining 6 states of the NC will decide the winner.

You are correct. The NC is the main battle ground now. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be 90% based on religion and ethnicity.

My Brother who is a serving Corper in Bauchi just informed me that CPC got 834, PDP 34.
He also said that 60% of voters were boys below 18yrs. So sad that Buhari will use under age Almajiri's to win election. The unfortunate side was that they were registered voters. We are seeing the credibility of Buhari in fighting corruption. God help this country.

The number of eligible voters in the North has always been over inflated with such methods. GEJ openly announced to people NOT to rig for him and not to be violent. Buhari could not tell his people not to use underage voters. At the end, he will be frustrated. If he decides to complain, he should be ready to lose those underage votes also.
