There's definitely no big deal about renting a wedding gown if that's what my finances can afford. (If I did, I'd prolly do a brand new one though). It wouldnt hurt to buy a new one either if it's not too expensive. It all depends on the budget for the wedding but there is no sense in spending a ridiculous amount of money on a dress that will be worn only once. |
@SSaemoenl: LOL. That reaLly cracked me up! |
queensmith: You guys say this ,but it's equally unpleasant to women when men approach them Willy nilly, i can't think of anything more irritating than a complete stranger approaching you for romantic interest. I automatically assume men like that have aids. If you can be professing love to a stranger its obvious you have no limits.Ok. No one should be professing love to any stranger whether guy or girl. It should be to someone you know (and I dunno about the word love either). To be honest, the furthest I would go is tell a guy that I like him and only someone I'm comfortable with and I have known for a bit. It depends on the kind of relationship we already have. I'm not gonna walk up to some dude and be like " I like you. Can I have your no?". Thats pushing it for me. The "stranger thing" is a no-no for me. |
bini girl: Well dats true cos we trying 2 move wit d tymsI've thought of doing it on several occasions though. I think if you can rock it with style and carry yourself confidently then def yes! I just might one day. lol |
hypeman: And who said you can't get to know me? Feelings is a subconscious thing and knowing is relative to social networking..LOL. not sure I agree with your definitions though. |
hypeman: Your afro, cheek, and teeth look attractive; can you ask me out?hahahahahahahhahaha If I choose to ask a guy out, it would be someone I actually knew and had feelings for and a whole bunch of other things. sorry. ![]() |
my fav of all time would have to be the 'fro. It could be a short afro or it could nice and big. whichever one works for me. But Im beginning to like locks though especially sister locks. (which I might end up getting) |
kayusfit: B.I.T.C.H HOW ARE YOU?wait what??! Are you high? how the heck you are you gonna call me that? I mean, from where though? Lol. Smh. Peace bro |
jydeayanx: Gr8 comments NLers From my own perspective, it's actually the way u go abt it. U as a girl, u can actually spew it out that u like him, and it'll be alright, whereas u could jst show it in ur actions, and it could loose all hell! It's actually abt the pple involved, and the way u go abt it. Try to know the kind of person he is, so there won't be any misconceptionthats what I think too. It depends on how you go about it and the people involved. Quite frankly, I think guys pretty much go through the same thing. Some guys are also scared of asking a girl out so its not a big deal for guys. which guy wants to get rejected? Bottom line, it depends on the mindset of the people. The girl needs to know the kind of guy she is dealing with. If na conservative/traditional guy then maybe not (I use these terms loosely). |
kayusfit: YOU ARE A LOW LIFE FOR STARTING SUCH A DUMB AND BASELESS THREAD. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLjust cause he asked a question, he is all of a sudden a low life? many girls battle with this on the daily. It's good to talk about it so we ladies know how men feel about it and vice versa. |
A couple of my guy friends asked me this Q the other day and I have to say that it's quite tricky though. For them though, it wasnt a big deal and didnt see any reason why girls like to wait for the guys to make the first move and ask the girl out. I mean I just think it's tricky though. I wouldn't want to feel like I threw myself at the guy but then again, it really depends on the guy though. It depends on how the girl does it and depends on the guy in question and the kind of mentality that he has. |
yeah...so as not to derail, i compensate you with these... Take digestive enzymes, generically known as lactase, to help digest thelactose in dairy products you eat. Acidophilus bacteria, found in yogurt or available as a dietary supplement, can also help you to digest food. Take an over-the-counter digestive enzyme, such as D-galactosidase, to help digest the sugars in beans and other carbohydrates and reduce smelly intestinal gas. Exercise such as yoga and low-impact aerobics can aid in digestion. Moving your body will get your blood flowing and help all your organs function better. Ginger is a natural remedy for intestinal gas. Sushi restaurants often serve ginger as part of the meal to aid in digestion. Soak one tablespoon of fresh ginger in a teaspoon of lemon juice for just a few seconds, then chew slowly and swallow. Drink peppermint tea or chamomile tea to support your digestive system and help eliminate gas. i'm actually thinking about how diagracing that could be, buh... Goodluck!!!
wait what? are you some sort of dietician/nutritionist? or did you get this from google? Just curious though. |

oc2fish: A friend gave me a guitar a week ago. I am in love with the thingThere are some really easy and helpful books that you can buy. Guitar for dummies isn't too bad. There's another that I used but I don't remember. I'm sure you can find videos on youtube too. Learn some basic chord first though: C G A etc. I started that way before I took classes. Most importantly practice. I'm sure others have more helpful tips though. |
freecocoa: I play the tambourine very well and i started playing it when i was 2.LOL. Me sef. Been playing since I was kid. Infact I'm a pro at it. Lol |
Does the tamborine count? Been playing that since forever. But uh for realz though, I play the guitar and piano. |
"They will teach you a white man called Mungo Park discovered River Niger. That is rubbish. Our people fished in the Niger long before Mungo Park's grandfather was born. But in you exam, write that it was Mungo Park. " (From "Half of a Yellow Sun). I'm with Dede1 on this one. |
