So I’m just curious as to why many people are single. In my experience it’s mainly due to personal character and preferences.
There are different kinds of single persons in our society,

there are those who are rich but are very responsible and do not flirt and search for a good man/woman but find it hard to get one and are single because of that.

There are those who are broke and unkept (ugly) and find it hard to attract anyone, they want a partner but their financial status doesn’t help matters.

There are those who are beautiful/handsome and are too conscious of it and act like they own the world. They are so in love with themselves that they find it so hard to care for another person. People often wonder why with their looks they are single.

There are those who have had serious heartbreaks and are so scared of it repeating itself, so they bury theirselves with work and pretend to not know they are single.

There are those who have a very serious standard, they want a golden person that doesn’t poo, that spits chocolate..that has a hair of diamond. They have an unrealistic view of how their partner should look like, therefore have been waiting for their imaginary partner virtually all their lives.

There are those who are socially awkward, they don’t know the first thing about dating. They read online “how to say hi to the opposite partner” they are always going to relationship seminars yet they are still single.

You can add more, and yeah I belong to those who think so highly of themselves, their delusion of grandeur won’t let them date.

I think part of the reasons I’m weird as an adult is cuz I never knew why people always stared at me, made me a weirdo. Ladies are very fond of staring at a guy they like without saying jack, do you expect him to read your mind and start roasting you? I wrote a thread previously about my experience with people and how they always act two faced. I love most of the responses as they were correct, you shouldn’t let people into your head, learn to stop caring so much. I just want to say make your friendship very expensive, don’t allow just anybody into your space, Be very strict with your friendships. In life you are only as powerful as the people you make friends with, it’s a thing of fact. I have tried to be friends with celebrities and very rich people but most ignore me because I won’t add any value to them and yes I would have done same, so why the Bleep will I now allow one joker who’s dream is to get girls to admire him to be my friend? Tufiakwa. All the people that hate me you’re just beginning, because if u don’t have so much going for you I will NEVER be friends with you. I don’t know how to move past it bro, yesterday two guys I have never met in my life we’re pointing at me and I heard one say “this guy wet Dey your back so” and the other one turned to look at me and hissed and they kept saying stuffs that I didn’t hear. This is a typical day in my life, I mind my bizness but everybody has something to say about me, people I swear I have never seen before. Bro I swear if I don’t get mental help I may do something that may end me up on instablog soon.

Ever since I was a little boy I have always been defined only by how I look. It’s a curse that follows me everywhere, once people stare at me for the first time they join the queue. They start judging me by how I appear, on days when I look streessed and my looks diminishes they don’t say hi to me and completely act like they don’t know me, on days when I’m glowing they act super friendly like I’m the love of their life. This shiiit has turned me to a loner as every potential “friend” has done same so I cut people off and stay alone. It hurts when I’m treated this way, it’s a very insensitive thing to do, to make others feel like their only relevant on days they look their best. My family, neighbors, “friends” , church members, landlords, strangers, everyone does this to me. I think it’s how I look, I have a face that looks extremely good on some days and somewhat weird and not too good on others and people just act accordingly and that shiit has really made me hate society. Do other people experience this or am I the only weird person in this world? (This is a shallow post I know but please it really makes me feel bad that’s why I made a thread about it, no insults please)

You know it's crazy how we usually think the absence of a particular material or physical possession is the reason why we are sad.I always thought I felt empty because of my lack of money or comfort as a young man growing up. Fast forward to years into my future and I am not very wealthy , but I can afford almost everything I always wanted so desperately, I live very comfortably but yet I cannot feel any sense of joy. I am even losing my drive to get more money or possessions because I know without any doubt that it definitely won't make me a tad bit happier, I am experiencing mid life crisis in early life already. Lol , please what is the true secret to experiencing genuine peace? Is it marriage? More money? Children? Love? God? More material items? I'm just confused, how can I be so comfortable yet so unhappy ?
