I like the way you used obey and submit separately, meaning they are not the same thing. Even in the Bible, children where instructed to obey their parents, servants were also instructed to obey their masters, but wife's were instructed to submit to their husbands not obey. Meaning their is a difference between obey and submission. Submission that is being preached in marriage even by the white men that brought Christianity to us is an act that is expressed mutually and voluntarily.
