President Obasanjo should have just said that it was Jonathan. But he won't say it, because it would bounce back on him. It is on record, officially that it was Olusegun Aganga who was responsible for the lift in the ban on 41 items, including toothpick, during his tenure as finance minister. However, Obasanjo, won't mention names because it was him that personally nominated Olusegun Aganga to serve in Jonathns' government as a minister - it is on record officially..... This is how he wants to play politics, he is welcome. This is coming from someone who once said, he didn't know when his Chief of Defence Staff ordered the levelling of Udi town and as such cannot be held responsible for it but is willing to hold someone responsible for what his own nominee orchestrated. Welldone Sir......... |

Jobos:Get right with your facts...... Nigga does not pay full salary.......... Don't believe? Ask an Osun state civil servant, that's all...... It's like you will tell me that FG is not owing workers. Meanwhile I know thousands of FG workers who have not received salary for over 2 months...... Both in tetiary institutions and Hospitals. Leave that shiit |

bizzibodi:What is too bad hia, is your lack of understanding of Scripture. First and foremost, no real Christian who has the fear of God, understanding and is a calm fellow talks as reckless as you just did - in case you don't know, that is reckless, read the last 10 verses of the bible for greater understanding that is assuming I am talking to a Christian and not a muslim. Second the scripture quoted is in First Corinthians Chapter one and verse 25. Third, it was a comparison between Man's wisdom and God's wisdom. It doesn't call God foolish, it simply a comparison between the wisdom of God and that of man. A simple real - life practical analogy will suffice. Pastor Matthew Asimolowo once gave a testimony that concerned Bishop Oyedepo. He said many years ago, he got a call from a very excited Oyedepo to come and see that he had gotten a place for a facility. He entered car with Bishop, only for him to take him to one scorpion/snake infested area inside one thick bush in Ogun state and said that "God asked him to build a camp in that place and the name of the place was going to be called Shiloh.........." According to Asimolowo, he just dey look am, because nothing he said made sense. You want to build a camp, inside this bush and you are saying people from Lagos and all around the world will come and join you to die sahra...... Even if the place was built eventually, it would cost billions of which, Oyedepo as at the time, nor get money, E no get better relationship with bank and you say you will build such a facility debt free. As far as he was concerned, he just dey talk rubbish........or maybe na too much bible reading dey make am misbehave. Today Shiloh Camp ground is a standard, to the extent that almost every major Church is now going to build camp inside Bush, from MFM, to Redeem church, to Four square Gospel. Even Muslims have their own camp (NASFAT). Since Shiloh was launched, Pastor Asimolowo has said na since that Shiloh launching that he has learnt to respect the type of Faith whey Bishop Oyedepo get - this one no be tokunbo, na brand new. As far as he is concerned, anything the man says God sent him to do, he will do it, don't just bother yourself. For a man like him to raise that camp and every single thing he has said he was going to do and was going to happen all without error came to pass. You may be thinking God can never be foolish which is a great truth, but an upright, God fearing man says or takes a decision based on what God told him to do and you call him unreasonable, blind, senseless or a fool. Isn't that the same thing as calling God or his wisdom foolishness?? Think on that for minute and see if it is un-scriptural............ That is why Apostle Paul can say without fear of Contradiction irrespective of what you think as long as it is God's wisdom, No matter how it may look or seem, "even the foolishness of God is wiser than (the wisdom of ) men. Be guided by the wisdom of God.......... |
ogawisdom:I think you will find out that you maybe wrong. Typical car dealers are even afraid to sell cars in this our Buhari economy. The problem rests with Middle men/women who dey form dealers as well. How can someone take a registered car that was bought for #1.3million and come outside and sell the same car for #1.6million in the name of dollar? If you are talking about Tokunbo cars, I understand but even at that most of them are not as High priced if you are fortunate to meet real car dealers - not the middle men that are forming hustlers and posing as dealers, them full festac, Surulere and lekki area. I think, as you have rightly said, just relax. As for the Chairman, Justinslayer69, I believe you can still get a registered 2013 Camry for well under 4million. If you haven't bought one already, I can provide a couple of leads to some offers.......... PM me or email at ehidiamenigue01@yahoo.com only if you are ready. ![]() |
adefat:A professor of law, an economic team leader? Everyone who understands the system knows that it is Buhari's absence plus FOREX dealers refusal to sell dollar at the airport last week that made it possible for CBN to release dollar at such a rate. The last time this happened, Buhari simply sent DSS to raid those FOREX dealers. It works for just a short spell and then price skyrocketed. In my opinion, competence is not what cause Osibanjo to be the Economic team leader but politics. There is nowhere in the world, where you will see Osibanjo, giving a comprehensive talk of our economic road map - which is what is expected of a Economic team leader. He was simply placed there to ward off or discourage questions, the kind that Nkonjo Iweala had to answer - sometimes on a very impromptu note - before the National assembly and the international press. As Vice - President, he can't be summoned to the National Assembly abruptly to explain the state of the economy or sanctioned for failing to appear to do so. A finance minister on the other hand can............... Check closely, the same is mirrored across the Cabinet. Osibanjo is a lawyer, Fashola too? Lawyer. Lai Mohammed? Lawyer. Minister of Communications? Lawyer. Not competence my dear, politics................... |
pmc01:Meaning the bible is foolish ba? Or better yet Apostle Paul in the bible was both pathetic and foolish and he was wrong to have made such a statement? In fact, First Corinthians Chapter 1 verse 25 should be deleted from the bible ba? ![]()

juman:Difficult as this may Sound - to even some Christians - the bible isn't the Word of God. Looking at the OP alone, an intelligent, unbaised and objective mind can decipher that. The Bible contains the Words of God, there exist specific portions in the bible where God spoke through people - sending them as messengers - and where God spoke expressly to people and with people. And there are portions where his name isn't even mentioned though his existence is felt. For example, in the Fourth Chapter of Esther verse 3 and 16, you see where Esther sought the help of Mordecai to call all the Jews into prayer and fasting with sack clothes and ashes as she sought to approach the king in the hope of reversing the Evil decree set against the Jews. .... Also, in the Book of Songs of Solomon, some translations of the bible - like the World English Bible - make mention of God in the 8th Chapter and the 6th verse as "Yahweh". What the bible is believed to be in it entirety - and on this point I believe almost every theologian agrees on - is that the bible is the "Words of Truth". The understanding being that there are different realms or levels of Truth. In other words, there words that apply specifically in a specific situation or circumstance but not in another. And there are those that apply in all circumstances regardless of the situation....... As a Christian and someone who has read....... well some parts of the Qoran, I think it is safer to think of it as a the Qoran and the Hadith in one book....... |
