Someone just replied to your post. The response was different from what I suggested. See below - You need to pick where you family or friend support stays. It is expected that your support help you to settle when you arrive Manitoba. This is part of what you and the person will fill in the settlement plan to be submitted. |

temmytee1:Yes - you can be eligible even though your score is less than 400 - the issue is that you are not eligible for Ontario PNP (because they require a minimum of 400). As at today, the CRS score has dropped to 415...have you considered other ways of boosting your CRS score...perhaps retaking your IELTS? This is the time to cash into the rapid drop of CRS scores - please make hay while the sun shines. Yes, someone without Canadian work experience can still apply for FSWP. The NOC is to be able to match your Nigerian work experience with an equivalent Canadian occupation classification. I'll suggest you start reading this thread from page (0). It will help you understand the process better. All the best! |

Adventure15: The person that helped with mine wouldn't want to take this up as an agent - that I'm 150% sure of. Fingers crossed - maybe someone in the house can fancy doing it on behalf of others....who knows? |

ifeoluwakintan: 1st of all - I love the name Ifeoluwakitan...very deep indeed. okay - back to the question! Winnipeg is in Manitoba, Brandon is in Manitoba so where can the issue ever come from if ultimately you will be in Manitoba as requested by your acceptance of the PNP. You are an adult, so you can choose not to stay with your cousin or friend & there is no penalty for this. In fact, it's only in Nigeria that it's deemed appropriate for people to travel and stay with other people - elsewhere, it is solo moves even people from same mother & father. Relax, lol. 2 Likes |

oscar4lyf: I'll suggest you read this thread from page (0). You'll get a better understanding of the process and then empower yourself with this information you need. Anyways, below are the answers to your question - ECA is the report you get from WES after they have assessed your degree certificates. If you use your 2012 IT experience to claim points, you will need to provide a work reference letter from your employer plus other documents like payslips, etc. If you cannot get this, it will be difficult to claim the points. You have to look for a NOC that fits into your IT which you are claiming points for (I answered this previously) NB - I am a sister, not a brother lol. |

Onlineise: Are you aware that your Nigerian PCC is valid for just 3 months...? It is stated clearly on the certificate. Double check its validity before you submit it... |

optionese: Yes I have done mine (I sent those documents to someone who got it done for me). The Nigerian PCC is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, so be careful to get the dates right. All the best! |
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 1:18pm On Apr 18, 2017 |
optionese: Yes someone can get this done for you. (1) The person needs to scan or send you the a blank copy of the PCC form. You will then finger print and fill in the appropriate details..then scan it back to him / her. (2) You will also need to give the person the following - data page of international passport, passport photograph, copy of birth certificate That's the procedure / documents I sent for mine. Other people can chip in their suggestions - but I believe this works. NB - I hear its N5K if you bargain well. 1 Like |

oscar4lyf: Hi Oscar - see comments below: Q1 - I don't understand your question, so it's difficult to answer. Nevertheless, Google "World Education Service" to understand the process more. Q2 - Your work experience must be: •at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time, •paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count), •in the same job, •within the last 10 years, and •at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC). Q3 - Answered in Q2 above Q4 - The age is good and acceptable, lol. All the best! |

AnyiEO1: Q1 - CIC have become unpredictable, so this question is hard to answer for certain...but, in my opinion, I think its good. Q2 - Future benefit of having your spouse evaluate their degree certs is to be employable when he/she gets to Canada and decides to take on employment. I'm not certain on the extra benefits of IELTS but I believe it is to boost your CRS score pre ITA. Q3 - It has been addressed here that your NOC does not have to match your degree certificate (as is the case of Australia). It is your work experience (which you are claiming points for) that MUST match your NOC. Clear...? 2 Likes |

veleta: Hi - When you say "donor" do you mean yourself or your mum? I will assume that's the case. So, you or your mum don't need to include your statement of accounts. However, your brother needs to include his 6 months statement of account PLUS a gift deed stating that your mum is giving him the total N2.5M. You can just stay out of the picture since the transfer is from your mum to your brother directly. Clear...? 4 Likes |

Onlineise: You are welcome. A week...? In my opinion, that's too close to your target submission date. You will need to speak to the hospital first and ask them questions like - how long it will take, how soon can you book an appointment (they may have a backlog..who knows?), the price, what you need to bring with you to the appointment....etc. This information will give you a clearer picture of when to submit. I only advised getting your Upfront e-Medical done closer to submission date because the medical result expires after 12 months from when it was completed. This means that you have to land in Canada within that 12 months else you will have to redo your medical (and pay the cost of that) I hope this clarifies things...? 2 Likes |

pearlhabour: NYSC is employment - that's a fact. You include it either (1) under personal history if and only if you are NOT claiming CRS points for it (2) under work experience if and only if you are claiming points for it and you are sure you will get an employment reference from the NYSC employer. All the best! |

Nogen: Just ditch the OINP once you get ITA via EE. Because even after you get the additional 600 points from your PNP, you will still be in the EE pool & have to wait for the next draw to be picked. The end goal is to get ITA ....so grab the one that comes 1st...I will go for the ITA via EE if I were in your shoes. All the best! 2 Likes |

Kathyjex: I recall when i filled the OINP for a friend, we had 14 days to complete it. Although some people said it's 45 days, i strongly believe it is 14. Below is the information gotten from the OINP website - February 27, 2017 IMPORTANT NOTICE Re: Deadline for Submitting Online Applications through the OINP e-Filing Portal In order to be responsive to unprecedented application-volume demand on the system, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has revised the deadline from seven to 14 calendar days to submit applications through the e-Filing Portal for the following streams: International Masters Graduate Stream International PhD Graduate Stream Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream Once you successfully register a profile under any of the above streams through the OINP e Filing Portal, you now have 14 calendar days to complete your application. We are making every effort to ensure we have the technical capacity to meet volume demands and we will continue to monitor the system 24 hours a day, to address any issues. So, only you can make the decision on whether to go ahead with the OINP or wait for the EE CRS score to drop. God will guide you - Amen! |
