Chinnie4Jesus: Wow!!! That's like 2months gone and nothing. I thought the trend was max 60days, you will see some sort of movement. Are you single? Hopefully by next week something should but if you see nothing by the end of June, I think you should request for It. Cheers Thanks for your response. Does it make a difference if I'm single or married? Just wondering... |

40manlappy: You should get an update soon, perhaps this week. I have read about applicants with AORs of March 30-April 1 who had their medicals passed this week.
Lol @bolded Thanks bro. I'll wait and see... Many thanks |

40manlappy: You cannot request directly; a Canadian citizen or PR has to request for it on your behalf. I think I also read somewhere that there are some entities that can also do that for you at a fee.
Have you gotten AOR? How many days post-AOR now? Passed medicals? Don't think you should worry too much about it for now if you haven't passed medicals.
Even with medicals passed, you may just get several pages of information that has no real value to you. You can Google "GCMS notes" for more information. Thanks for your response. No, I am not worried about it (for now). It only crossed my mind when Dupyshoo mentioned it yesterday. AOR was 31st March and nothing has changed since then. |

Boss13: GCMS note is like a workflow sheet on your application. It shows the level of activity/work and stages your application has gotten to.
Yes you can request for it. Especially if you are not comfortable with the timeline of event Thanks for your prompt response. Please can you explain the process of requesting for it? Is this something I have to do via my CIC account? Many thanks and apologies for the long questions. |

Post AOR question -
Please what's GCMS note and does one have to request for it post AOR?
I've researched this enquiry but couldn't find any useful information.
Many thanks! |

Seems I'll have to make do with just my statement of account. Hi - Request for a "signature confirmation letter". This with your 6 months statement of account will suffice. All the best! |

Lamgirl: Hello Hse Please can one use property document like land or car in replacement for POF ? Hi - see info below from the CIC website; "These funds could be in the form of: •cash, •documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.), or •documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders)." My advice: Inasmuch as it states that you can use documents that show property, this MAY be dicey. The car is a No No - car is a liability and not an asset, lol. Hope this helps...? |

Hello everyone...pls when filling address history from 18th birthday..must it be home address only even when in d Uni and also during NYSC...or u ll change d address during NYSC to where u served. Thks in adv.. Hi - It is your home address only. I assume when you were away at Uni and for NYSC you had a primary address (i.e. home address) which you return(ed) to. Don't make things complicated - just stick to your home address. Hope this helps...? |

yimiton: Guys, please has anyone been able to open the Ontario immigration website? I've been trying it for the past 3 days and I've been getting this error message
This site can’t be reached
The webpage at w w w.ontarioimmigration. ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPUPDATES_FEB21.html might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED
I had to put spaces on the website address to enable it get posted. Hi - I opened it Friday and then this morning again. It allowed me login but I noticed things have changed on their site e.g. they now inform you you've been placed on a queue and the captcha system in place to make sure you aren't a robot. Keep trying. |

Spatz81: I had a declined transaction(my bank required that I verify the transaction) yesterday evening, when trying to pay for my application. However on my profile, it say processing payment....any idea when what would happen next? hi - I'll suggest you follow this up with your bank to make sure it was actually declined and not deducted. The last thing you want to do is to pay again and then have to chase up IRCC for a refund. As for your CIC account, whichever way the payment transaction went, it'll come up with an update after "processing payment". Just relax. |

omesanni: Hi,
I am currently uploading documents as I got ITA early this week. I am confused about the passport thing. The instructions in the checklist says that I should upload the bio-data page of my passport and any pages with stamps, visas or markings. Now my current passport is still fresh as I only got it last year and I haven't used it to travel out yet. I don't know if I should just upload only the biodata page.
All my visas and visa refusal stamps are in old passports dating back to 2005. I don't know if CIC wants me to include the pages of those stamps & visas in the old passports. I don't know what CIC's end game is with this. Are they trying to see the proof for the travel history we filled? If am to take the information in the image below literally, two keywords are to submit a valid travel document and the passport that I am going to use to travel. So it means any pages with visas should be from the new passport right?. But then again my mind is telling me to play it safe and not assume.
Someone please help me make a sense of this. Hi - You should upload scanned (colored) copies of ALL your passport pages (i.e old + new passports). Leave out the blank pages and upload only pages with stamps and markings. If you end up with a lot of pages that exceed the 4MB limit, then make use of pdf mergers / compressor / etc. on the internet. All the best! |

yimiton: Fantastic response! Thanks so much. I was actually wondering how long I have to accept or decline the nomination. Hopefully, we'll be able to sort everything out in less than 40 days. Sorry to burst your bubble....but you REALLY need to confirm this OINP 40 days or 14 days deadline. This question has been asked previously on this thread and while some said 14 days, others said 40 days...and this is irrespective of whether you have registered for one-key system or not. Please confirm...please. Check other Canada threads....use google and all means to confirm this grey area. |

Ehrnie: Hi -
I just completed the eAPR submission & payment for my friend. When I logged back into her CIC account, the status was "processing payment"? I am puzzled because when I did my own application, it went straight to "submitted" and I got my AOR immediately.
Has anyone experienced this...? or am I being paranoid...?
Many thanks! Sorted! Thanks....even though no one replied to my SOS call. God is watching all of you reading and ignoring, lol! |

winter: ITA at last fam. I can't believe it really. After writing IELTS twice and almost giving up... choi.
My score increased from 414 to 474 after my remark. God is indeed good.
My question plix : For the PR application, it states to select if I would want to pay for only application fees only or application fees with the RPR together? What do y'all think? Kindly assist. Thanks. Congratulations!!! I see no reason why you shouldn't pay application fees and RPR upfront except you are really truly low on cash right now. It is advisable to pay it all at once to avoid any delays in them contacting you again to request for it. |

chidaroy: Please how did you apply for OINP? My understanding is that you need a valid job offer to do so. Did you get offered a job? You don't need a valid job offer to apply for OINP. OINP pulls candidate from the EE pool and sends them a NOI (Notification of Interest). This means that they invite you to apply for PNP. Presently, to be eligible for OINP your CRS score must be above 400...and your EE profile must be newly created (some people say that they select EE profiles that are a few days old, and not ones that have been in the pool for months). |

damidamsel: Hi all, please I'll like to find out if 40hours for 11months (which is over 1560hours) can be accepted as one year experience.
Thanks Interesting question indeed - hmmmm From the CIC website all they make reference to is work experience in multiples of 12 months (i.e. either 12 months or 24 months)...nothing about 11 months. if I take a wild guess, I will say it has to be either 12 or 24 months irrespective of if you worked above the required hours...I maybe wrong and I stand to be corrected. |

Lamgirl: Please, I will love to know 1. If one can have two separate applications (Express Entry n PNP) running at the same time? I have paid an agent for EE before joining this highly educating group but was just thinking if i can start PNP myself. Don't know if it's a good ideal or not. 2. If WES would accept statement of result as I am yet to collect my certificate from my school?
Thank You Hi - Q1 - Yes you can have a PNP application and also an EE application. In fact, you have to be in the EE pool because your PNP will be issued via your CIC account. Your case is quite different because you will have to make reference to your active EE application (e.g. you need your EE profile number and job seeker validation code to apply for Ontario PNP - that I am sure of). My understanding of these shylock agents is that they withhold details of your EE profile so how do you want to scale that huddle? When does your EE profile with the agent expire? If it's not far of, maybe you should just wait till it expires and then terminate your contract with them. I don't advise you to create another EE profile because it is stated clearly that you must not have 2 EE profiles. Q2 - I'm not sure about the WES process. Maybe someone can help you with an answer to that. |
