Nice response. With d continuous drop in cutoff, Ontario should expect d turndowns and reduce their cutoff to 350 or something close in return. I see dat happening soon though.

So annoying because my friend had paid that $1500 Ontario application fee....and then few weeks after, she got ITA via EE! As it is i don't even think there is a refund policy in place for circumstances like this.....waste of hard earned cash!

Do I need to write the IELTS exam to register Canada federal skill worker?

Yes you do - it's part of the requirement for eligibility.

I'll advise you start reading this thread from page [0]. Only then will you get a good understanding of the process.

All the best

Hi -

I don't see any reason why you cannot get ITA same day as completing your Job Bank registration.

To be double sure, log into your EE profile and check that the Job Bank registration has been reflected. It will tell you on your EE profile.

I hope this helps...

Can someone assist with this please.... cry

Hi -

I'll give this a try.

Q1. You can edit the fund in the pre-populated part of your ITA form. I can't recall the exact section now, but just take time to go through your form. It is there.
Q2. You choice of payment prompt is in the early part of your post ITA form. I think it's the 4th or 5th question once you start filling your post ITA form. It has been advised (on this thread) to pay all the fees upfront (that's if you have it now though) so as to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Q3. I think the full name of the document is "Affidavit of Gift Deed" [lawyers in the house can correct this if I am wrong]. So, No - you don't need an affidavit along with the Gift Deed.

Hope this helps?

You may wish to use the following address;

The Visa Officer,

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

Sydney, Nova Scotia

Canada

As advised by those ahead of us, the exact address does not really matter. The VOs don't seem to care so much about the precision. Cheers

Seconded wink

Thanks. Yes I was referring to the first submission before getting the personalised checklist. So the 90 days is the required duration to complete everything.
Thanks Ehrine.

Yes the 90 days is the start to finish duration. Once you log into your IRCC account, you will see the tab that tells you the days you have left until submission. This is helpful to track how much time you've got left.

Hello Guys,

1. Please how long does it take to submit the application after you've generated your checklist? I have not submitted the first application after I received the ITA.

2. Must my funds be exactly how much I indicated I'd be bringing, can it be less but more than the required amount?

3. Where's the closest court I can get my gift deed signed please? I'm in Lekki.

Hi -

Q1) "I have not submitted the 1st application after I received ITA". This isn't very clear bro. Kindly explain. You cannot received ITA until your application is submitted so I'm confused here.
When you get your ITA, you have 90 days to complete the eAPR forms (i.e submit finally). Only after all the online biographical information that has been entered is complete will a “personalized” document checklist be generated by the system. You have to upload all documenst and submit within the 90 days which starts counting from when you received ITA.
Q2) If you realise your funds will be less than what you indicated when you were filling your EE profile, I believe you can edit it but make sure it is not lower than the required amount on the CIC website.
Q3) No idea - but I am assuming Lagos Island maybe your closest (not sure though)

Really? The pcc from Nigeria dont have address on it but my friends address is on his pcc from UK and thats the state he works and lives.

Does it matter if the address on ur UK pcc isn't the address u currenty live but your old address maybe family house? Please does anyone know?

The address on your UK PCC can be either (1) a UK address if you are currently living in the UK (2) a Nigerian address if you are currently living in Nigeria. Summary is that the address on you UK PCC will be the address you CURRENTLY live.

The address on your UK pcc has to be the address you currently live that is why they ask you to submit proof of address when applying for the PCC. You have to be careful to ensure all your documents have the same address. You cannot have an old address on your UK PCC, and then have a new/different address on you Statement of Accounts (for e.g.) That doesn't sound right to me & it may be picked up.

You have to be consistent. Hian!

No ideas bro...that's why I skipped them. Sowie.

I think you made a mistake in Q1 though...did you mean to say "do I need gift deed"? you surely need PoF for you application.

Thanks Oyasalof. From what i read, it is for my current address here in Nigeria. Jenny suggested i use two bank statements, can this work?

Yes 2 statements of account from two DIFFERENT banks will suffice. It is advisable to provide a uk address for them to post the cert to...then you get someone at that address to scan it to you. This will obviously be someone you know (friend or family). It's faster that way then giving a nigeria postal address.

For the UK PCC, is it not meant to be address of where you stayed in the UK?

No it is not the address of where you lived in the uk that should be on your proof of address. If you are out of the uk, then you use the address of where you currently reside.

Proof of address can be two statements of account from different banks.

Hello House,

Please confirm what rate the CIC guys use to calculate if we have reached the benchmark as regards POF?

For example, 15,143CAD should be N3,411,445.55, right?

Cc @vcole, @dupsyhoo, @Ehrnie , @40manlappy , @Beem4cupid

I assume they will use credible currency conversion webpages e.g oanda

To be safe though leave a bit of allowance i.e. + or - a few hundred Canadian dollars. Out of curiosity, I've just checked oanda and $15143CAD= N3,488,500....AS AT TODAY oooooo

Hello Ehrnie,

How long do you think is between ITA and PPR, all things being equal?

Between ITA or between AOR AOR the letter you get after submitting your eAPR [remember you have 90 days to submit your eAPR].

Officially, the PR process is 6 months. Some people have gotten it quicker and some have gotten it much more later. So, it depends really.

Just ensure you tidy up your own end well i.e. make sure you submit all documents accurately, ticking all requirements and format. Leave the rest to Baba God. Shikena.

A "signature of account details" letter will suffice. That's what I got from GTBank plus my 6 months statement of account. My letter was addressed to:
Central Intake Office (CIO)
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada.

Please if my documents are not complete, like my IELTS, can I still create an Express Entry Profile, If Yes, how do I create a profile abeg?

Your documents don't have to be complete before you create an EE profile...but you cannot create a profile without ielts results. I'll suggest you read from page (0)...in fact the answer to this question you asked is right on page 0.

Can someone please help with this enquiry...

I'm currently filling the post ITA form for a friend. I have filled all the sections and on the main page that has the upload button the status of each section is showing as "complete". However, when I open each individual section and click the "completeness check" tab at the top, it shows "error...mandatory fields not completed". I hope I'm making sense...

Has anyone experienced this? I'm not very concerned because all the tabs on the main upload page show "complete" and I believe the system will not allow me upload documents till each tab is complete...right...? Please clarify.

I have two questions. Filling ITA form.
1. For native language/mother tongue, should I put Yoruba or advisable to just put English.
2. For credentials, should I upload ECA alone or upload my degree certificate along with ECA.

(1) I'll suggest you put English. That's our 1st language. lol.
(2) upload degree certificates + IELTS result + ECA report.

1) Official answer = We expect to process most applications for permanent residence through the Express Entry system in six months or less, after we get a complete application.
UnOfficial answer = It varies, but my guess is 4 months.

Thanks! Do you know the time frame between passport request and passport return?

Sorry for my plenty questions...

Can someone please help answer this my 'out of the box' questions -

(1) Under normal circumstances (i.e. all documents submitted accurately and correctly), what's the maximum processing time for the PR application? I mean the time from AOR to PR issued...?

(2) When IRCC request for passport, how long do they hold on to it for...weeks / months?

Many thanks!

Calm down bro cheesy

There is nothing to worry about going by the experience of those ahead of us. I read that for outland applicants, it can take anytime from between 20 to 40 days post-AOR.

Please note that the 5-7 days mentioned by the clinic is for the availability of the test results, not "medicals passed".

Thanks for the reassurance bro, lol. This PR journey isn't for the faint hearted at all.

...what's "outland applicants"..........?

I have read about "medicals passed" gotten within 2 days. Those applicants are likely to be under CEC stream. Children's practice told me that test results becomes available within 5-7 days.

Oh wow - now, I'm getting worried. So, I went for my medicals on the 16th of March and I requested a copy of my results when completed. This was sent to me on the 27th of March. Submitted e-Apr 31st March & got AOR almost immediately. I just checked my CIC account and the section "Review of Medical Results" still reads "You do not need a medical Exam".

Apparently nothing has changed since (approximately 3 weeks) I completed my medical. Is this normal? Any one experienced or experiencing this? I will double check with the hospital today to make sure they have sent all they have to send to IRCC.

Maybe read first 2/3 pages of this thread from page 0 but each occupation has its NOC code. You don't qualify for NOC, the occupation you have experience in determines ur NOC code. Even runz girls have their NOC code which is prolly 666. So as a financial analyst, you will have your own NOC code. Ur ielts should be broken down, points are awarded individually not ur overall score. For maximum points u need 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5 in listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing respectively but most ppl aim for 8777. Read from the very beginning or drop more of ur details to help her ur CRS score and where u can increase it.

This Temitope is just a clown...lol! which one is runz girl NOC code - hian!
