Someone please help answer my queries too ............

I am helping my friend with her application and I cannot download the NOI letter received from Ontario yesterday. Someone who has passed through this, please respond.

Also please confirm that when you get NOI from Ontario, you go to their website and apply for Ontario's Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. It is my understanding that the FSWP (Federal Skills Workers Program) falls under this. I am just being careful not to apply for the wrong scheme post NOI.

N.B. My friend got a NOI yesterday via IRCC Express Entry....profile created Monday 20th Feb.

I am eagerly waiting pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

@Temidewale Congrats! I also got notification of interest from Ontario yesterday with 423. One challenge I have is after opening the message I could not find a way to download it. And to apply for the nomination you will need to attach the notification of interest letter. How did you download yours?

Hello seniors,

Pls for those who have filled the post-ITA forms and gotten PPR. I want to fill my wife's NYSC in her personal details but i am confused whether to put it under government activity or Employment.

I am afraid of misrepresentation. I need help

I asked the same question weeks ago and I was advised to put it under employment. That's what I did ...so go for it!

Hope this helps

Hello house.

I'm a very silent observer on this thread. However, I will like to share the good news that I've landed in Canada. From ITA to PPR took 9 months.

It is better to ensure you block all avenues for more documents request by providing all upfront. That way, your application will not be abandoned.

All the best to all that have received ITA

Congratulations!

Please can you give us examples of additional documents that can be requested for?

I am collating my documents post ITA and this will help a lot. Thanks.

Why does it seem impossible for me to get any score between 413 and 460 . I can only score above 460 if I score LRSW 8,7,7,7 in IELTS. Even if I score LRWS 7.5.9.9.9 my score will still fall below 413 which will not get ITA. i have WES 2 degrees/certificates and i am 29 and single with over three years experience. Pls what else can I do to improve my score without IELTS listening band 8 .

Well, I think it's just the way the CRS is calculated. I recall the CRS difference between my 1st IELTS (LRSW 8.5,8.5,8.5,6) and 2nd IELTS (LRSW 8.5,7.5,8.5,7.5) was 58!

Hello everyone, i'm new to this and i need you guys help. I have an msc degree in unilag (yet to get certificate cos i havnt convocated but i'm done with the programme. Hence the question can i just evaluate my transcript using wes or iqas without the need for certificate as its not yet ready .please i would appreciate any help i can get. thanks

From the WES website, all documents listed below are required -

Clear, legible photocopies of all degree certificates issued by the institutions attended (To be submitted to WES by applicant)
AND
Academic transcripts showing all subjects completed and all grades awarded for all years of post-secondary study (To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended)

For completed doctoral programs, a letter confirming the awarding of doctorate (To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended)

Hope this helps!

Checked her IELTS score as well?

Work experience also? Is it up to 3 years? Check the dates you imputed cos that will determine the respective score you get.

Yes withdraw profile it is...

Okay...I will give it one last check tonight. If it's still not updating, then I will create another profile asap.

Thanks a lot for taking time to answer my queries. Much appreciated!

I am not sure I understand what you mean by EE not recognizing her MSc degree... I will advise you confirm the WES reference number you typed in is correct, or better still, delete the profile and start again.

Make sure you check every detail step by step. I'm sure you should be able to resolve it.

PS... is she married? Did you include her husband's evaluated degree and IELTS results?

Thanks for your response.

I have checked and checked a million times since yesterday...yet no show!

No she is not married yet.

There is no option for deleting EE profile. All I see is 'withdraw profile'. I am assuming that's the same as delete right? Can I still use her same email address to create this new EE profile?

Good morning All....I need advise urgently!

I have been updating a friend's EE profile but the EE profile CRS score is 383 instead of 423 from the CRS online calculation. I compared her profile with mine (which is quite similar education-wise) & I see she is loosing points from her education. Her EE profile doesn't seem to recognise her MSc degree even with a WES evaluation.

(1) has anyone experienced this before
(2) should I give the EE time to update her score?
(3) should I delete that EE profile and start again.

NB I check for completeness as I finish every section...& it says Complete.

Someone please help!

Please help!

Good afternoon All, I neeed clarity on a few questions (this is onbehalf of a friend);

She wants to create a new EE profile in preparation for the OINP. Her old profile (which expires March 3rd) was created via an agent but she doesn't want to use their services anymore. So the question is: If she creates a new EE profile now (by herself) will she be required to create a new job bank profile as well? Can she have two job bank profiles?

Kindly advise.

2. It is easy to get one. Just send you finger prints and copy of passports to a family to help get the PCC.

[/quote]

Do you mean finger prints on a plan paper or on the PCC form itself?

Based on what I have read on this thread, I'm sure you can have 2 active EE profile but I am not sure if you can have active profile and apply for student permit simultaneously.

Thanks for the response.

That's a good question, you know! Hmmm, I blieve it is one at a time! If things happen such that admission comes before you conclude your PR plans, you might want to think about processing your application outside Nigeria. Processing immigration things most times are quicker outside Nigeria depending on what you are applying for so.

Thank you for the response.

(1) can you apply for student permit and also have an active EE profile (2) Can you have two active EE profiles + (apply for student permit)?

Many thanks

No references required for employment you put in personal history only.

Great! Thank you so much.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Ehrnie: 9:30am On Feb 11, 2017
Adiahabasi:
1.NYSC is an employment, you don't have to claim points for all the jobs you've done.
2. No,just put it as another employment.
3.None whatsover, don't leave any gaps even if its 1month put unemployed for that period.

Thanks for your response. Much appreciated. If I put NYSC and the tax office work as employment, please will I be asked to provide references for both employment? I.e. Will I need to provide references for jobs listed under personal history? Reason i asked is because my NYSC was done with a small company and I don't have any documentation to prove this (we were even paid over the counter...so, no docs at all). For the tax office work, I have my employment letter, resignation letter and a few payslips

Please note that I am not claiming points for both employment.

Good morning all, I received ITA and I am now filling my 10 years personal history. Please I need clarity on the following:
1. What do we class NYSC as? Educational activity or employment or government? Is it okay to class it as educational activity since I am not claiming points from it for employment? If it's an educational activity, I hope they wouldn't ask me to provide WES evaluation.
2. I did a bit of contract work at the tax office (civil service) which I am not claiming employment points for. Is it okay for me to class this as organisation since I don't know CIC's definition of government work?
3. What is the implication of having a period of unemployment in the history?

Many thanks.

SlowlybtSurely:

-You have to land before your medicals expire. Medicals expire after one year. You can then go back to the UK. But you have to compulsorily live in Canada for at least 2 years out of the 5 years to be able to renew your PR

- I think treasury bill certificate should work. Attach a LOE.

-Yes please. HR can write the ref letter but it must have all the details CIC wants.
Thank you so much for your prompt response. This is really helpful and I appreciate it. Many thanks!

Hello house,

I received ITA yesterday (08/02/2017) but I need clarity on a few questions-
(1) I am currently in the UK & will not be rounding up until approximately two years from now. Will this affect my Canadian PR? Is there a time limit I am permitted to be out of Canada for?
(2) I have a treasury bill investment in Nigeria which will mature in June 2017. Can I use this as PoF? Is it acceptable?
(3) Can my reference letter (for work experience) be written by HR and not my supervisor? Will this suffice?
