TTTTTolu: Relax bro/sis. It's not always worded as Ip1 or IP2. I am guessing you are in the NA phase which is just before IP2. Drink from the well of patience...we are coming to congratulate you too on PPR. 5 Likes |

Congrats once again to all who have received PPR...this is great news indeed! Can someone please clarify that the IM0008 form to be filled out (post PPR) is different from the "Appendix A - Update Information Chart" included in the PPR letter? I checked the IM0008 online and downloaded it. Its a 5 paged PDF document titled "Generic Application Form for Canada" and the footer reads "IMM0008 (06-2017) E". Is this correct...? Is this the right form I should be looking at? Please help a sister o - the finish line is in sight and I don't want to screw things up 1 Like |

Hi guys – I’ve got this post PPR question: Photograph specifications. How do I get my name, DoB, and details of the photography studio behind my photo? Can I handwrite my own details and probably the studio details, if they don’t print it behind? Many thanks |

Nozzle: Excuse me...I'm struggling to understand what you mean by distributing PCC form. You sure didn't think I was referring to a completed form did you....? That would be very disturbing indeed. I said someone has a blank PCC form (in PDF) which the poster (and everyone who needs a PCC) needs to fill out. The same type of form that you would get at alagbon. There is no security breach in sharing a BLANK PCC form, when all your details and fingerprints will be taken in the presence of an officer. And yes, she is female so she needs to fill out the female form - that's why she's looking for one. 5 Likes |

Faky201: The front sheet of the female copy is pink...and "Female" is written on the 2nd page already (i.e. the page that has your fingerprints). Please don't write anything on it - who knows if CIC will term that as an alteration. |

Aka2003: hi - R10 is the completeness check stage 1, where the VO is responsible for reviewing your application for completeness. For the case of PCCs, they check that the following specs are ticked off correctly - - Police certificates are typically valid for one year from the date they are issued. - For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before submission of the e-APR. - For countries in which the applicant no longer lives, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the client lived in that country. Note that the personalized document checklist provided to applicants in their online account does not prompt applicants for individual police certificates based on their declared residence and travel history; rather, applicants must determine which police certificates are required as part of their application and must compile the police certificates into a single file to upload as a single supporting document. If you did all this in your 1st app and it was still inadequate, then I'm not sure what went wrong. All the best with this one 2 Likes |

12go: Hi - I can answer the question on landed property. From the CIC website , landed property is listed as a PoF. "documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) The Canada visa website suggests that you should get your property valued by three independent companies. These can be real estate agents, property valuation companies etc.Make sure you get the valuation on letter headed paper and signed. Then add the valuations to your PoF to CIC so they can see how much equity you have available. I'll suggest you use your landed property as back-up PoF and don't solely depend on it as its still a grey area. All the best! |

Cheriesparkle: WES is fast and good for UK degrees - I can testify. MBA evaluation is what you really need for your EE application BUT there is no harm evaluating your B.Sc. too (who knows when/if you will need that to job search in CAN). Both evaluations should be hassle free since they are from the UK - and these UK schools respond very quickly. All the best! 1 Like |

yokus: Hi - I believe you are trying to fill out a schedule A. The instruction on the form states that attach extra sheets (if need be) and write your name (etc.) and the number of the question you are answering at the top of each sheet (I haven't exactly gotten the wording but that's the gist). Once you are done, scan it all in as a single PDF and upload into the space provided in your CIC account. If it's not a schedule A, then kindly disregard my comment. 1 Like |

Feygbe: Personally, I would (infact I did) upload old and new passports. I uploaded only pages with immigration stamps (left blank pages out), and scanned the newest passport first, so it was at the top. I see no harm doing this if you have nothing to hide in your old passport. It's better to give them more info (relevant info though) rather them requesting additional documents from you. This is solely my opinion. 3 Likes |

victor101: So sorry to hear this. Tests done include - Chest X-ray, Blood tests for syphilis (VDRL and RPR) and HIV and Urine test. Your friend will also be required to fill a medical history form(tick box kind of thing). I got this from the CIC website Certain health issues may result in refusal. Applicants for permanent residence who require medication for Diabetes or Hepatitis A, for example, could be deemed to be a potential burden on Canada’s universal healthcare system, and CIC reserves the right to refuse an otherwise eligible application for permanent residence on health grounds. There are, however, ways to overcome inadmissibility on health grounds. For example, a report from a specialist on the condition could help an applicant’s case and help to avoid further medical examinations, delays and/or refusal Wishing your friend all the best! 1 Like |

dami99: Please tell us what stage you are right now...and what sort of contract you have signed with the agent + what phase the agent is with your application. The last thing you want to do is create a new EE profile (on your own) when the agent has an active profile running for you. Just give us an idea of the issue so we can throw you a life buoy in the middle of this big sea 6 Likes |

dami99: Hi Dami - I have no problem with you contacting me privately, but I'll advise you against it. Reason is (1) If you post your questions here other learned people can help - I may not be in the position to give you the best answer you see (2) private messaging doesn't help the thread. If everyone posted privately, then even I wouldn't have learnt all I have learnt in the past 3 months. Lets support and help each other by speaking here. However, if you still feel you want to send me a private message.... Tor, it's up to you. I will respond to the best of my knowledge. Don't worry too much about the agent - people on this thread have passed through agents claws and have come out victorious. 12 Likes |

dami99: Hi - welcome on-board! This is the DIY site where you get practical, first-hand knowledge / info about the FSWP process....I guess this intro knocks out your question about getting an agent. No agent can fill your forms for you the way you would do yourself. So, agents are a No No - we don't encourage them here. I'll advise you start reading this thread from page [0]...read as much pages till you have an idea of the process - then return with tailored questions. I don't know of any what's app group - and to be honest, I don't think its necessary. All you need is here... All the best! 4 Likes |
