Yea hubby is in Nig. So he sends d Naira equivalent to my activ account? Will i still need his statement or mine alone? Then besides a sponsor letter what else will i need frm hubby?

Pls whats d current state of things for someone with a visa who wasnt preggy as at when she applied over a year ago? Now preggy and looking to have my baby in the states. Does d change of purpose email still work as before? Havent used the visa since I got it. I'm due Oct and visa expires Jan.

I also noticed that most ppl advise 5m pof and above. 10k Usd is just about 3.7. Can this work? Remember I have accommodation already.

Does anyone know any hospitals in London Ontarìo area? Havent seen any referrals in that area all through the pages. I am currently checking the ratemds website as previously mentioned though. Hopefully i am able to find something. Ds Canada ordeal is more stresful than yankee sha which is where I had my 1st. But am tilting more towards Canada now cos of the accommodation i have there which I dont have in yankee

I intend to use d latter to apply for express entry. Process already in the works for this. But for the purpose of a trv, what do I say that I do and what supporting documents would i attach? If i use d agncy, since its mums business i dont have d usual employment contract, payslips etc. Also it will negate my plans to say i am a lawyer when eventually applying for express entry. At the same time if i use d lawyer with my newly registered business name wont it be as tho d business was registered simply for trv purposes?

2nd qstn, huby wants to send me 10k usd as pof. Will this be enough if i already have accommodation in canada? How do i package this money such that it doesnt look like a sudden lodgement prior to one's visa application? Should he send it to my dorm acct which hsnt bn active in forever or shld he send to me in naira i to my personal account which is more active?

As far as I know, the most qualified person is to apply, one application covers the whole family.

He will apply after me so he can serve as home tie alongside my daughter

What if the Company does a resolution confirming that he has up to 75% beneficial interest in the Company and so is allowed to utilize the Company funds/statement and other documentation for the purpose?

Hello there, No you can't use that. Whatever you are showing should be in either spouse name or a joint account. The company is a separate entity from your husband even if he owns 100% shareholding. The company owns the funds, investments etc and not your husband. Hope this helps

He is also a director on the board. Can we use d coys papers, statememt of accout and evidence of d coy's investment in t-bills as POF?

LOL... MOD IDP (www.ielts.ng) is an alternative to British council. They entered nigeria late last year but has been using loud speakers for their listening test while BC uses headsets.

You need to rewrite because your Listening in below 8. That is why you're getting 422. An 8 or higher will do wonders to that 422. Also the chances of having your Lostening mark changed is very low.

Me i still dont know what MOD is o, but i sha know we used headphones when we wrote the exams. Hope this helps?

Please who knows with MOD IDP is now using headsets. The next available date for BC is 21st April and seems tool long. Will be loosing 5 points by 31st of May, if i dont get into the pool early like March ending or early May.

My dear, you have better chances of a better score than hubby. Leave hubby result as it is as he cant give you more than 20points.
Change that your W=7, L=8 and see how the score will bump to above 450. You Rewriting is better than waiting 6-10 weeks for result to come back.

Is speaking not a tool of trade for a lawyer as well? Is there anything proud in me saying I was confident in my writing but not in my speaking? Use LSRW 8777 and see what your score is. Play around with the numbers and see how 8 in listening changes things. If you are the younger spouse, you rewrite and leave hubby's score as it is. Just play with the numbers and be guided

HUBBY'S SCORES:

scores right now with these results: 415, with me being principal applicant. with Hubby being the applicant its 401.

I have read that usually remarks are not more than .5 marks higher right. So if I request for a re-mark, and my scores change to 7 in writing, our score increases to 422, using hubby's current result.

I am thinking that I ask for a remark while hubby takes the exam again, so he scores higher, while my writing is hopefully bumped to 7. invariably, we score a much higher mark. The other alternative is for both of us to re-write the exam. Another fear is what if they mark downwards instead of upwards as I am hoping? Does that ever happen?

I have also read that during the period of remark which is about 8weeks, you are not allowed to use the results. this means that we cant even get into the pool till the remarking is completed. any chances of d draws dropping to 415 in 2 months? Apparently last year it dropped to 413-415 around May...

What do you guys think? Trying to weigh all my options

As regards the writing part, I hope you wrote your words/spellings in full because abbreviations will do more harm than good. See the bolded.

How about asking for a remark on writing?
