Hi All.
For those that applied online with upfront medicals can you please advise on the order of processing stages alongside possible timelines particularly with these new approvals in principle. I noticed it is only my background check that is in progress while awaiting receipt of my biometrics. Is this normal? |

Hello, Many thanks for your suggestion. So I noticed the following grounds where one can raise a CSE: You have submitted an application at a visa office abroad. The information you seek is not available on E-cas. Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times. Information on processing times. You wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in address, changes in employment, acquisition of a new educational credential, results of an approved language test.Uploading these documents do not particularly fit under one of the grounds. Can I upload all the same without it counting against me in my application? Cos I have read in previous posts that those Nairobi people can be vindictive. Frankrobbn1: Please raise a CSE by sending the proof of your husband's ownership of business via IRCC WEBFORM NAIRAOBI. In the mail, you should explain to the immigration authorities that it was an honest mistake to have omitted the document while uploading your files for submission. Never to worry, the visa officer will update your application appropriately with the new information provided.
It will end in praise |

Hello All,
So I just submitted my online application and realised I did not include evidence of ownership of business companies for hubby (his side runs basically) which I had made mention of in my SOP. Please what do I do? Do I send an email attaching it or just let it be? Since he is my primary sponsor arent these documents a deal breaker? Kindly advise. |

It is 3140kb Lekiboboe: It shows u av an already uploaded Document there, but seems the file u uploaded is not accepted (either by file size or file extension etc.) But since u said its in PDF .. Thats should be no problem
Fine, u said its less than 4MB, hope the file is not like 4MB on the dot..
Cos the File size on your computer would likely be more than its size when Uploading..
E.g a File is 4.03mb on ur laptop and u wanted to Upload it and it says not accepted, that means it has passed the 4.09mb file limit.. |

Hello All,
Please I want to ask something, if my husband is sponsoring me and gives me a gift deed, transfers the funds to my account and writes me a sponsor letter, do i still need to show proof of the source of the funds? I assume if I am using his account I will have to but if I am using my own account with the sums having been transferred, do we still need to? Please advise. Many thanks. |

Hi All,
Please does anyone know what happens where your upfront medicals is sent to IRCC even before you submit your online application? I expected the hospital to send within 2 weeks of taking the test, giving me enough time to get all my documents together but lo and behold they sent it in 2 days. Please advise. |

Hello All,
Please I have a qstn, if you wish for your kids to travel with you and they are both Americans meaning they do not require a visa to enter into Canada, is it better to file for them as dependents from here, or to take them with you and when you get there, regularize their stay? Cos I spoke with an Agent who told me it is better and easier for them to regularize their stay when they get into Canada. I also wont have to worry about securing more proof of funds for dependents visa.
Also with regards to POF for a 2yrs programme, if one only has proof for 1 year and does not show how to raise the funds for the 2nd year, will it be a problem securing the visa?
Finally, if one has a business with all registration documents but no tax certificate, what does one do? Cos I noticed it is a requirement stated on the CIC site |

DearAll, I trust you are all keeping safe. So my appointment was rescheduled from yesterday to today, at 12 noon. Can some one kindly give me heads up on what to expect? Eilenora: Thanks so much for your kind responses to my inquiries.
So I have a Skype appointment with a Fanshawe rep this morning, I am not sure I understand why I need to have this just to get admissions but from what I have read so far, I see that one has to go through an agent to process admission into their school. Is there anything I have to do to prepare for the appointment? Is it like an interview or what? Anyone with previous experience particularly those currently in Fanshawe, kindly advise on the process. I have also read that one has to pay for these appointments. At what point does this happen? The appointment is 10am this morning so it is pretty urgent biko, e joooo. Kindly assist |

U cant even access the portal to request for an unofficial one. Even the portal is on lock down Chimzy4real: In this lockdown. Most schools aren't operating, your best option is to use your unofficial transcript and state why you are using it.since your school doesn't issue that then i don't know what other option you can use |

Please keep me posted if u get any headway cos I am in the same shoes with Unilag. i had commenced the process before the Covid thing started and now you cant even track it online or send emails to follow up cos Unilag is practically on shut down mode. I already have admission from a schl in the UK but the admission is conditional on transcript. if I dont submit before 31st I lose a chance of getting a 1000pounds early bird discount off my tuition. I prefer to school in Canada though hence looking into Canadian schools as well; and I know this issue of transcript will resurface hence the urgency. Will they collect a credential evaluation in the stead of a transcript though cos I have that both from WES and IQAS Slayyy001: Unilag does not issue unofficial transcript o ! Other schools are giving their students transcripts or sending it to the schools abroad once they pay online . However , unilag is just different and they are not processing application for transcripts yet! Pls anyone who knows anyone who can help. Biko ! I can message you privately . Deadline May 31st |

Also is it true that its hard to get admissions from 35ages upwards? I am 35 this month. I have read a few cases on here where 40yr olds were successful so I knda always thought its from 40yrs old it would get tricky Eilenora: Hello All,
Please I am trying to navigate myself around this whole admissions thing but noticed each college I go to, I see the following credential options which confuses me:
Advanced Diplomas (3 year program)
Certificate Programs (8 weeks - 1 year)
Degrees (4 year program)
Diplomas (2 year program)
Graduate Certificates (1 & 2 year programs)
Ontario College Certificates (10 weeks - 1 year)
What option should I be selecting for a PGD programme? So I selected the last 3 but was surprised to see some courses wth the admission requirements being:
Admission Requirements Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.) Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1270) Grade 11 Mathematics, C, M (U/C), or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1375) For more information on preparatory programs, visit Academic Upgrading
If this is a PGD, why is the requirement being Secondary School? Unless it is a University degree I am looking at thinking it is a PGD.
Can some one please advise so I can be properly guided before I run to agent to help me do what I should be able to do myself.
I had a 2.2 law degree, 9 years legal experience but the past 3 years I have been an enterpreneur so looking to apply for a business related PGD course.
Kindly help a sister out |

Hello, Any idea if this still works? I just did it and want to know the timeline for when Unilag will upload same. Also, how safe is it to send in ome's password and if this is really necessary. haftob: Open a scholastica www.scholastica.ng account. Then proceed to unilag transcript website to order your transcript. When filling the form online, type the scholastica address and also indicate ur username and password and tell them to upload ur transcript there, then u download it from scholastica. You have the softcopy and u can use it to do ur admission runs. If u get any admission and the school requests for hardcopy, just order ur transcript again to be sent directly to the school. That's how I got mine and it was uploaded in almost 4 weeks and it was during the recent NASU strike. You just pay for the transcript processing and the fee for upload. I paid total of 3k5; 2k5 for transcript and 1k for upload. Attach ur remita receipt u used to pay when filling the online form, there's a space for that.
If u want the hardcopy, just look for someone working for a big organisation, then order to have ur transcript sent to the office address, they will send it there, just make sure u pay the appropriate fee for it to be sent there. U will see the fees on the transcript website. |
