Below is a reason for all of us to stay indoor for a month: There are 4 groups in Nigeria now.The groups are A B C D. Group A has those who have coronavirus from abroad.Group B has those Group A members have contact with when they are going to visit Group C.Group C has those Group A members want to visit directly. Group D consists those who don't go out at all possibly because of old age and some other reasons. They cannot be infected with Coronavirus . We know those in group A and C and they can easily be identified and isolated.Group D members are free from the virus The question is who knows group B members? Nobody ! The group B members can be anybody. Those in Group B have contact with Group A members who are carriers of the virus on the street, at the eateries, market ,school., in the bus, beer parlour, relaxation centers.,campuses, offices ,churches, mosques, parties , on the road, and while moving from one place to another. It is therefore when we all stay at home that we will know those who are group B members after 14 days if they develop the coronavirus symptoms.... So staying at home is the beat decision for us in Nigeria.
. My advice is that all those in the presidency should be quarantined. Kiyari attended a. meeting on CoVid 19 when he returned to Nigeria from Germany instead of isolating himself. A large number of people in his office and in the presidency are on the red alert list....I wish him soonest recovery.
trueconscience: The Coronavirus challenge facing the country doesn't seem to be abating at the moment as a positive case has just been identified in Oyo State.
This was disclosed by the Executive Governor of the state, Seyi Makinde in tweets via his profile as attached.
According to some commentators, the FGN actually failed the country by delaying the restriction of international flights to the country and failure to compulsorily quarantine everyone coming into the country while others are eager to blame this on the Governor for holding a political rally in the state recently.
No matter who we choose to blame, fact is the virus is here with us and we need to protect ourselves by washing our hands and doing social distancing.
Also, Churches, Mosques and other gatherings have been instructed to desist from garnering crowds above 20 else a monitoring unit would be stepping-in to enforce compliance.
Nigeria so far has not recorded many Coronavirus related deaths like other European countries and hopefully, the country will be out of the woods soon
. He must have had contact with many people now...This is serious
A woman in a voluntary relationship with a man even without children should have some protection. This is the basis of common law relationship.
If you think a woman is not covered because this is Nigeria, you have not seen assertive lady.
But it goes both ways, a poor man will fight you for his "Investment" with you.
The whole discussion is a warning to ladies because they always get the tiny end of the stick.
. It is not scary my brother or sister. The truth is do not go into a man s house without full marriage traditionajy or statutory marriage.Any Lady who does that is likely to cry later.Regrettably this kind of life is common in Nigeria. Some do introduction and settle down.Introduction is not marriage at all. Please ladies and men should do what is right for their protection.
A man and a woman living together as husband and wife with kid(s) but are not legally Married. That is, no Traditional or Court Wedding.
If one of them decides not interested in the Union, should he/she go to court before they are Separated?
Modified: If there is no Divorce Proceedings, what happens to the kids?
. There is no marriage between you.Either of you can pack out when you like.It is sad that that is the life many Nigerians are living now.As to the custody of the children if they are between 8and 9 they are old enough to be with their father but the wife should have access to them too.If they are less than that it is better to stay with their mother till they become 8or9. ....If you live with a man or woman without marriage in any form you are just wasting your time since their is no legal union between both of you. Additionally if you stay with a man without marriage and have children with him and he contracts marriage with another lady in future that new Lady is his wife legally but you the first woman are just a baby factory for him.....
obembet: Tottenham's 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday night has seen Jose Mourinho fail to win his past six matches in all competitions - his longest ever run without victory.
Across Spurs' last six games, Mourinho has seen his side beaten four times and held to two draws as they struggle in the wake of injuries to key attackers Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
That poor form has ended the club's hopes of any silverware this seaso, with Tottenham knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League in the space of a week.
Spurs also now face a real fight to qualify for the Champions League next season with the club currently eighth in the Premier League - seven points shy of fourth-place Chelsea.
Mourinho has struggled since he replaced Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham, with the club's 3-0 loss on Tuesday condemning him to his joint-heaviest Champions League defeat and three consecutive losses in the competition for the first time in his career.
While Spurs have failed to fire freely without Kane and Son up front in recent weeks, the side's biggest issue since Mourinho's arrival has been in defence, with the club conceding the second most goals of any Premier League side behind Aston Villa in all competitions since 'The Special One' took charge.
Tottenham have in fact failed to keep a clean sheet in their past eight games in all competitions with Leipzig highlighting their defensive struggles in Germany.
Marcel Sabitzer opened the scoring after just 10 minutes on Tuesday before adding a second in the 21st minute as Spurs dug themselves a deeper hole after losing the first leg at home 1-0.
Leipzig substitute Emil Forsberg would then wrap up the contest in the 87th minute as he found the back of the net just seconds after being brought on.
Mourinho must now try to end his longest winless run on Sunday when Spurs host Manchester United in the Premier League.
While Tottenham have hit a rough patch over the past few months, the Red Devils have started to hit their stride and have avoided defeat in their last 10 matches.

There is nothing special about these coaches. They only do well when they ate in big teams with great players. Can Mpurhio coach Brighton and make it win EPL? A good fan of Madrid in Nigeria can arrange the first 11 of the team....Nothing is special about all the coaches. including Mourhio .
NwekeUG: Fuji musician, Wasiu Ishola Adewale Olasunkanmi Omogbolahan Anifowoshe, professionally known as Kwam 1 and who is now a Maiyegun of Youruba land was captured slapping a photographer during an event.
Also known as K1 De Ultimate, the 63-year-old during his performance at socialite Ibrahim Dende's birthday party, was captured on camera, cautioning a photographer. In the video, he is seen stopping midway through his performance to call someone onto the stage. A photographer, while trying to get a good picture, attempts to sit at the bottom of the stage but gets slapped on the head by the musician instead.
. Musicians. photographers and videos recorders are the same. They work together. In my opinion the photographer wanted to snap a person K1 was sing praising. Two interests at a time on a person. The knock or slap on the head means "Dont disturb me here too.". Some people even laughed there while the photo grapher quickly took his former position.. No string should be attached to it...It is common a live stage.
senatordave1: You cannot assume so.their very inclusion in the list rendered the primaries invalid.infact,in this very case you should give alaibe the benefit of the doubt afterall he quoted directly from the pdp guidelines. Infact he went to court in July to stop the holding of lg elections so that they will not participate in the sept primaries since they will not meet the 90 days requirement.he alaibe was given a copy of the delegate list therefore he must have tendered all needed proofs. What i expected you to scrutinize legally is the statement of the judge that the case is an internal affair of pdp which he cannot delve into which more or less decided the case.is that the position of the supreme court?
. The position of the supreme court is that the party decides the primary according to the party s constitution. If there is a proof of deviation from the partys regulation and it is established at the court the primary becomes invalid .APC vrs MarafA in Zamfare supra. In my opinion Alaibe s citation possibly the constitution of the party without proof of the accused voting in the primary will make his case lack merit in any court of law...That a person name is on the voter list does not mean he will vote? The question is important..How are you sure they voted? Any reasonable judge who has seen a lot of evidence will never ask that question. So what is missing is PROOF beyond any reasonable doubt which will make Alaibes case acceptable based on probability..
senatordave1: Sir it seems you are misapprehending the case like the judge.it is settled in law that there's a rebuttable presumption of regularity that elections took place.before the primaries,a list of the delegates who will vote were published and thet included the disputed lga delegates.it is assumed in law that they voted.am sure alaibe had video evidences plus printed ballot papers. Again, the statement of the judge clearly conceded to that fact.the question for determination is whether by the provisions of the pdp constitution their votes were valid or not?
. With the statement ..How are you sure they voted? I don't think Alaibe use logical evidence including the list of delegates as you indicated to prove his case.....
When a principal impregnates a pupils less than 18 he is guilty of child abuse and misconduct. If the pupils is above 18 he is guilty of misconduct ....He deserves dismissal and prosecution.

senatordave1: Alaibe claimed that the pdp constitution does not allow elected chairmen and counselors to vote in primaries except they have spent 90 days.he claimed that they were allowed to vote which rendered the primaries an illegality.that is the crux of the matter. The judge in his judgment never delved into this.instead,he claimed it is an internal affair of pdp meanwhile the supreme court has ruled on similar cases severally. The judge also stated that how would alaibe know whether those illegal delegates votes for alaibe or diri, this means that the judge accepts that they voted.he should have gone ahead to nullify the primaries.
. I am always happy to have you on nairaland with your succinct and straightforward comments. As I was reading your contribution my mind went to the last part of the judge's analysis not knowing it was already included.....How did he know that both of them voted? Was it proved in the court with pictures videos and copies of their ballot papers traceable to them? Did the difference in the results indicate that the two voted? As long as it was not fully established Alaibe will lose the case to the SC
. When a principal impregnates a pupils less than 18 he is guilty of child abuse and misconduct. If the pupils is above 18 he is guilty of misconduct ....He deserves dismissal and prosecution.
I am yet to fully understand what Alaibe wants Did he take part in the PDP primary? Why did he say Diri was wrongly nominated? Did Alaibe win and Doris name was written as a replacement? If PDP conducted primary according to the party s constitution why going to court again? From the summary of the judgement it appears there is logicality in the conclusions of the IMO high court
senatordave1: You have not said anything about today judgment on bayelsa

The case will be finally decided at the SC.When all Gandujeic decisions are reversed the AIG in the NW will implement his return as Emir with immediate effects...
saheedbadmus: Really.. dats nice but do u think ganduje would follow the rule of law if u eventually win in court

zoedew: It is just that some SW Obas are smart enough to accept that discretion is the better part of valour. Olubadan would have been dethroned by Ajimobi but for that. Do you know that Sijuwade and Ado Bayero were almost dethroned by Buhari military government or so when they travelled outside Nigeria without permission from government? They deployed tact to keep their thrones. No matter the brilliance and good intent ascribed to SLS he was fatally afflicted with tactlessness!
fairfora: Don't mind them, that was just a mere allegation which doesn't hold water. His sin stemmed from his campaign for a girl child education, his advocacy for conversion of some empty mosques to schools and allow the almajiris to school there, his quest for the removal of almajiris from the streets of kano and put them in school. All these angered the leaderships at the length and breadth of the Islamic northern states. They know he's liberating their political tools...the almajiris and once this is done, nobody would be saying rankadede to them anymore, their women would not be allowed to be married off at the age of 10 anymore. They want to remain primitive.
I read recently where ganduje said male and female must not sit on a bike together anymore. You come to lagos or the south. It's a norm here. We enter bike and commot without looking back at who the co-paseengers are. Wetin dey people's minds wey dey pursue dem pas woman or man mata. Seberal Ken and women are here who are single because they're struggling to settle down. Every passenger goes their separate ways. The worst that could happen is the girl saying she wants to sit at the back while you sit at the front of the bike...that's for those who have time and think dirty in their minds.
Despite all the modesty, kano still remains the most promiscuous city in Nigeria. Only in kanu would you see 2 boys packing like 5 girls in side same hotel room.
. Only Yoruba governors know how to manage their obas.Even when there are partiy differences between Olubadan and the Oyo governor between late Ooni of Ife Sijuwade Okunade and Adebisi Akande the governors traditionally knew how to manage their obas and protect their institutions. They never resorted to stupidity and foolishness of Ganduje. When power intoxicates you please yourself as you desire. Welcome to the south west where obas are viewed as second to God and tolerated with understanding and brilliance. I am proud of the SW
. insubordination. refusal to attend meeting non compliance to emirate laws..... The qustions are are these legal reasons for his removal? What is the business of the government with the meeting of kings in the north? When did all these begin? Before or after unlawful break of the north caliphate into four emirs? which emirate laws did he break? He will get justice at the Federal high court appeal court and SC .If a king criticises your government deposition is not the alternative.Go to the south west and see how their governors manage their kings even if they belong to different parties and have differences.
. Is their any difference between Obasanjo and power driven Kano state government? Why was Wagabara removed as the senate president? Why was Charles Osuji removed as the education minister? Were they properly investigated before he masterminded their removal ? Politicians are the same and are after protection of their interest.
America with 50 states has stable electricity because the sector is working unlike Nigeria with 36 states and the power sector is money consuming but functionally epileptic....Who cares ?

obembet: The Kano state government dethroned Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll on Monday over disrespect to the office of the governor and other government agencies. Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll, who was named the new emir of Kano in June 2014, spent 5 years, 6 months and 26 days on the throne.
Before his appointment as the emir, Sanusi ll served as the central bank governor. He raised accusations of high-level fraud and corruption within the Nigeria’s petroleum industry, alleging that $20bn (£12bn) in oil revenue was missing.
The governor of the state has been at loggerhead with Emir Sanusi II, leading to the creation of additional four new emirates in the state and several probes by both the state lawmakers and Kano anti-graft commission.
Below is a timeline of the crisis Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll has been involved in:
February 20th, 2014: Sanusi Lamido Sanusi got suspended as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria after his fraud claim, by the then President Goodluck Jonathan.
February 25th, 2014: Sanusi sued Former President Goodluck Jonathan over his removal as head of the CBN.
June 9th, 2014: Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll was named the new emir of Kano after the demise of his predecessor, Al-Haji Ado Bayero who ruled since 1963.
June 10th 2014: Security operatives allegedly ordered by Former President Goodluck Jonathan, sealed off the Emir’s palace which forced Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll, to remain in the government house in ‘President Naseer Lodge’ to receive all the personalities that trooped to congratulate him.
. Ooni of Ife is 1. Olubadan is 1. Alafin of Oyo is 1 Obi of Onitsha is 1 Oba of Lagos is 1 Sultan is 1 but Emirs are 4...When politics is brought into every matter madness will follow...Kano abracadabra

. All the reasons above are not strong enough to depose a king. The only reason I think is behind it is the party politics of the Sultan. He appears to support PDP because of the division of the emirates by Ganuje. The deposition is reversible in the court of law...
