The chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, deceived Nigerians. Could you believe the same Fayemi that announced the need to end the lockdown all over the nation has just declared a one week lockdown in a state (Ekiti) with only 8 cases? Not just that, Fayemi has also declared a lockdown on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning from May 4th.
. Absolutely correct! They are all selfish leaders ...Good submission from you

. It gives me a lot of concern to see the spread of Covid 19 in Nigeria..I am of the opinion that it will still spread like a wild fire in this country..The PMB should jhave locked the country down again for additional two weeks but the state governors disagreed with him. They disagreed because they did not want to spend money they have on this emergency. They wanted the president to give them money for the lock down..He however asked the governors to adopt what they like in their states. Many Nigerians want to go out because there is no meaningful palliatives for them...They have been abandoned by the politicians and our leaders Covid 19 is now increasing in Oyo and other states in Nigeria. If we think it is over we are DECEIVING ourselves..Nigeria may regret lack of will to fight it logically by locking down the whole country for a week or two and giving citizens robust palliatives. We should have learned a lesson in Spanish Influenza of 1916 to 1918..

Which of these critics of the Muhammadu Buhari administration do you think will make a good President if allowed to govern the country?

1. Yinka Odumakin

2. Deji Adeyanju

3. Omoyele Sowore

4. Reno Omokri

5. Oby Ezekwesili

6. Dino Melaye

7. Mike Ozekhome (SAN)

8. Buba Galadima

9. Timi Frank

10. Femi Falana (SAN)

11. Femi Fani- Kayode
. 1. Odumakin is just a noise maker who only looks for his daily bread. He can never be a president in Nigeria. 2 Adeyanju is a noise maker who also looks for his daily bread. 3 Omoyele does not have what it takes to rule Nigeria. He is just a noise maker who only seeks identity in Nigeria. 4. Omokiri is also a noise maker who has nothing for Nigerians. 5. Ezekiwesili is an idealist who does not have the will to impact on Nigeria. What did she do as a minister in Nigeria? 6 to 11 cannot do well as presidents. The well of their failures has been dug already. All the activists among them do not have what it takes to rule Nigeria. As for Femi. Falana even if he has good ideas he will be programmed to fail.Remember Gani Fawhinmi and Bola Ige.. Femi Fanikayode criticised Obasanjo until he was given an appointment .He started praising him.So Femi is a regular seeker of his daily bread. He like others on the list does not have what it takes to impact on Nigerians

. Each time I think about the next action my mind goes to masses who make money on the road daily.Civil servants will be paid at the end of the month. How will the masses eat daily? Schools should remain closed .Banks should have skeletal services. Markets should be open three times every weeks .Shops on the streets should be open three times weekly. Churches and mosques should remain closed. Social large gatherings should still be suspended. Inter state movements should be strictly outlawed while intra state movement should be allowed three times every week . I believe we can still cope with this relaxation for two weeks.

. The truth is many Nigerians will be poor for life and the generational penury will continue for the following reasons: 1. poor family planning..A man who is supposed yo have a wife is having three with many children. A man who should have one wife and two children has five children ...Only few Nigerians have good family planning. 2 The government dies not have a good development planning for the country.Till today no good data base for Nigerians.2020 must have been planned for in 2010.Sadly nobody cares. As we increase daily no job for Nigerians .The jobless have wives and children. Will poverty not continue? Buhari ‘ll make tough decisions next week on COVID 19

Augustine Okezie, Katsina

The Director General of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has announced President Muhammadu Buhari will make some difficult decisions on COVID-19 containment next week.

He said: ”President Buharit will on Wednesday have a tele conference with the Governors and there will be some difficult decisions to be made on how to restart the economy, especially on what to start and what not to start.”

The NCDC boss spoke while on a courtesy call on Katsina Governor Aminu Masari in his office at Government House Katsina.

He spoke as the Governor demanded establishment of a testing centre in Katsina to ensure speedy confirmation of samples of suspected cases in the state.

Masari noted the State Government had to travel for about 12 hours after collecting samples of suspected patients for test in the laboratory at Abuja.

He said: ”Availability of a testing centre here will actually help in reducing the duration and the stress we are presently going through.

“Samples from Katsina had to reach Abuja in 24 hours otherwise it would not be tested
. The presidency should have locked down Nigeria for two weeks starting from last week .With this we will know Covid carriers once and for all .The tough decision is about Kano and Katstina .If the number of confirmed cases in both states continues like this Nigeria is in problem....How I wish our borders had been closed earlier.

I heard my neighbor asking another neighbor if he can pay tithe from the 20k alert he got from government.

This got me thinking.

Are members expected to pay a tenth of whatever they get at this difficult period?
. With due respect to all Nairalanders and their forms of religion I have a different opinion. I respect everybody's decision on tenth payment. I believe however that tenth is not Compulsory for Christians. When Christianity was formed in Pentecost 33 CE tenth was not not their practice. Tenth belonged to Isreal and the Mosaic law that made it compulsory was no longer in force with the death of Jesus Christ.Christians can donate as they wish.In other words you can donate 10 20 30 40 etc percents of your income... 2 Cor 7 vrs 9 says ..Let everybody contributes as he has RESOLVED in his heart for God loves Cheerful giver...So please do as you can for God.You are not under compulsion to donate 10 percent of your income.

It is when you lock down that the spread will be minimal...Osun is decreasing while Oyo is increasing daily.Curfew at night is not the best solution but a total lock down.
