Ol' boy, I suspect massive 'RINGIM' coming up ![]() |
Guys, if you want to have a real laugh, click on this link to reveal a thread where FACE and Ezeagu come together to slap Chino11 senseless with his empty boasts. They really humiliated him! . Omo, dem carry am mop prison toilet floor!Click the link below. nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-336779.320.html#msg8661140 |
Tribalism has really blinded so many people to the point they can't even see anything good in anything these days, even when it's going to benefit them. First and foremost, the first poster blames the Lagos government for 'wasting money on skyscraper'. Perfect proof you didn't even bother reading the article. Cuz if you did, you would've realized the structure was being built by the Pearl Company, and NOT the Lagos State Government. Secondly, Chino insinuates this is a wasteful project, and goes on to throw many other tribalistic slurs. What he doesn't realize is that the Eko Atlantic City project is a private project completely bereft of government interference. The funds are gotten from bank loans and equity, and NOT even the state's purse! People have refused to see the many opportunities this project promises for commuters and indigenes - like decongesting the Lagos City - and have just carried on with their blind hate. How can this country really move forward with this pointlessly negative attitude? ![]() |
I guess it's pretty cool. Tax revenue is sure to expand with this one. As an aside though, I think Naija really needs to start developing her own shopping chains! South Africa has 'Shoprite', has 'Game', has 'Wimpy', has 'Woolworths'. Nigeria? Natt'n! Even to patronize Innoson dey hard governors, except Enugu Chime administration. Anyway, make we dey hope sha. |
My Gawd, what a TOUGH list! I simply don't know which to choose!! Maybe I'll go with NPF. |
TheJurist = Ulonnaya24 ![]() |
When I hear the name 'Eagles' these days, my stomach turns so bad! |
Oh, just read your last post. Now I get it. Cheers. |
Umm, Jarus, your poll isn't working. I just cast my vote, but instead of showing the results, it says I must login or register. But I'm currently logged on, so why the message? Hope you're not trying to do some Scientific 'Ringim' in here ![]() |
Cool. How far for 'The Dome' though? |
georgiaencyclopedia.org/nge/Article.jsp?id=h-2895 Forever proud of my heritage and our characteristic 'stubbornness'. Igbo kwenu! ![]() |

Oga mi, in the case of Nigeria, na raffle draw we dey carry do am ![]() |
What a funny thread! |
However, an impeccable sourceBeans-and-plantain journalism toh bad ![]() |
chino11:I really, really hate to burst your lovely rose-colored bubble, sir; but Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi are currently on the same spectrum with GDP per capita of $1600+ while Imo and Abia are the macro revenue states in the South East with GDP per capita of $3700+ So if there's ever going to be any special acquiring, it would most likely be done by the two latter mentioned states. However, between Enugu and Anambra, it can be said that Enugu does have a reasonable economic superiority over Anambra, as it has a planned capital city (unlike Anambra), a high ranking federal university and teaching hospital (unlike Anambra), and a healthier and faster growing economy (again, unlike Anambra), so that should be enough to say. One possible factor that could explain the current economic underperformance of Anambra would be the poor taxing system. Anambra is blessed with so much human resources at her disposal, that could easily make her a superpower, however these potentials are barely tapped into by the current governor, who happens to have a personal vendetta against Anambra's 'hidden diamond', Nnewi. We hope a more responsible technocratic governor would come soonest to position Anambra as the number 1 it should rightfully be. |
@OP Just take a second look at your source and tell me if you'd take this story seriously on a very good day. |
LMAO! Ndi Igbo'm kwuru si: kpoo ihe ojoo ihe ojoo. This brotha is mediocre! Still can't believe they chose him over Charles Soludo. Well, maybe it's just that the people are completely sick and tired of PDP. The road works are really haphazard. Don't even know where to start. |
Fact #2: Former president and MILITARY GENERAL Olusegun Obasanjo is currently under 'political house arrest' at the hands of Bola Tinubu ![]() |
A Few Facts About Bola Tinubu: Fact #1: The umbrella in the PDP logo was designed to protect them from Bola Tinubu. |
South West PDP has officially been rendered castrated, disgraced and helpless by Bola Tinubu ![]() |
So it's official then? The South West IS Bola Tinubu. Seriously, in the South West, there's no win for anybody else except Tinubu ![]() |
Na waa for these Abian government propagandists we've been having in here including this OP. If it isn't Johnsonnna, it's GeniusGuy; or TheJurist or this otula419 or whatever he calls himself. |
And to be honest, this budget is sooo depressing. The recurrent expenditure is still almost twice the capital expenditure. For how long must we go on like this? ![]() |
So, let me get this straight: There's a Security Budget, a Land & Housing Budget, a Water Resources Budget, a Science & Tech Budget, a Health Budget, then there's an FCT Budget? What exactly is this FCT Budget for if not also providing the above stated services? Shouldn't the above stated monies cover for the FCT, or is there something I'm missing here? |
I thought LASU was Africa's Number 1 according to some fella. |
This should be moved to the Jobs/Vacancies section IMHO. |

This argument has become quite monotonous; although it was a little funny in the beginning. ![]() |
20 pages of unwarranted tribal hate in this beautiful festive period? Wow, guys. Anyway, make I no discourage una. More power to your elbows sha. |
Ahhh, Saffi. That's where I was born, you know? Rolled with my best friend Daphrede there. R.I.P bro. |
