Think about it. With the unbelievably high cost of fuel from the petroleum subsidy removal, that means there'll be less cars plying the roads of our cities, does it not? And with less cars, that means there'll be less air pollution, no? And when there's less pollution, does it not equal to fresh air? ![]() Biko, don't come screaming on your lungs. He made his promise, and he fulfilled it! Simple and short! We voted for Jonathan and not the party, same way Jonathan has voted for the fuel and not the subsidies. So why you dey vex? On the bright side, this will reduce the rate of car accidents on our streets, limiting it to just head-knocks and knee dislocations. This will also help us develop muscular yam-like legs, enabling us to rub shoulders with Kenyans in Olympic athletic races and marathons - equaling more trophies for the country! So, abeg, I'd urge all my brothers and sisters to be thankful to our visionary president for bringing forth such an ingenious policy. Much respect! |
Stop Moaning, Petrol Is 326.21 Naira a litre in the UK!Electricity is also 24hours a day in the UK, so what's your point? ![]() |
Same to you my brother. |
You mean land that has been devastated by gully erosion ? No be only expensive,na hire purchase.Land or no land, ibo people should not kill themselves in intra-ethnic cleansing like sunni and shites.
The gully erosion thing is only chiefly prominent in Anambra, Abia, Imo (western), and some parts of Enugu. Guy, Ebonyi is not what you think it is. Far from it! From the huge salt deposits at its river banks to the extremely fertile land (like Benue), that place is a massive economic goldmine that is unfortunately wasting away! Their only problem be say people no too send them in terms of urbanization. Cuz if it actually had a governor with an IQ atleast above 14, that state would be feeding a decent percentage of this country with ease. Just add a single agricultural factory in there and watch things fall in place. |
This doesnt mean people should kill themselves like sunni and shites.
Nope. But when you have a shaky 83 year old man who would rather spend the state's monthly allocation on Viagra; as opposed to actually taking advantage of Ebonyi's vast agricultural, eco-friendly, Obudu-like landscapes, what more should you expect? |
When they start bombing themselves,i'm sure you'd see the truth in what frosbel has said. There is no point being defensive when two ibo tribes are killing themselves over desert land.
Actually, the land in question is a heavily vegetative area with a decent elevation and soft-grained, deep-brown soil. Very good for rice. |
This is very sad. How can humans be this cruel to their fellow humans? What is the wilting old bum Martin Elechi doing about this? I really hope the EBSG can find a way to resolve this conflict that has emerged within its indigenes. |
Much as I doubt this would instantaneously tackle the issue to the fullest, I still think it is a good start which, if handled which utmost professionalism, would bring about a lot of changes that would ultimately prep the fists for the ultimate blow against Boko Haram. |
Chei! Oga Sammy, na so de thing hungry you? You no even wait for marriage before knacking and scoring de goal? ![]() Anyway, congrats oooo! |
I'm guessing the rogue moderator in question is either OYB or DayoKanu. ![]() Chei! What a disgrace!!! ![]() |
Are threads like this allowed on Nairaland? |
It's cool. They're free to do whatever they want. Just leave Delta out of it. |
Yeah, I guess Gbawe deserved to win it all the same. I read his previous posts on Ghana's moves to woo that Innoson guy, and really realized he deserved it fully. To be honest, I think he should get himself a newspaper column or something (LOL, I'm serious). A person with his type of thinking deserves a lot more political prominence than just internet message boards. But Oga Gbawe, I hope say you no go do 'about-turn' like Sir Adeniyi when money from national cake starts coming in ![]() And to the others, please stop the tribalism. You may already know this, but bigotry only makes you an !diot in the World of the enlightened. When your corrupt leaders come to loot resources, you think they consider tribes? Na the same Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw, Bini, Isoko etc go join hands to LOOT! So, if they can join hands to destroy the country, why can't we also JOIN HANDS to fix it? Nonsense! ![]() |
GEJ joins the cabal(2010) in our infamous list. This is very ironic, because it is LITERALLY true, both in real life and Nairaland affairs. Goodluck has really joined the same people we fought against for his sake. And it took him just one year. He escaped by the whiskers last year. Unfortunately, he wasn't too lucky this time. |
Congrats Gbawe! Nice work, man ![]() |
Wait. Isn't DailyTrust the same newspaper company known to only support the interests of the Islamic North? Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I remember, they were the same people spinning lies during the Yar'Adua health problem period. They were also the same people who carried a fake story about a conspiracy to populate Aso Rock with only Christians. Has any other news company carried this story, or is this another attempt to launder the already damaged reputation of Islam in the Niger Delta? I'll wait until I've seen it on ThisDay, Vanguard or Punch, thank you very much. |
So, they paid an American weed-puffing, pant-sagging hoodrat to come perform at a festival that was supposed to have a deep cultural African ring to it? Really weird. |
My fellow Igbo people sha. I hope the families have the heart to bear the loss; but seriously, when will they ever learn? To read that there are still Igbos who stubbornly remain in the dangerous areas of the North has got me feeling they actually deserve it. If you're unable to grow a freaking brain and come set base back home, then you're going to have to suffer the fate that awaits you in the North. It's as simple as that. Now, these guys are lamenting their loss in the news, hoping for me to feel sorry for them? Were you born yesterday? Or are you waiting for the violence to come slamming on your head with a reverberating sound before you catch a wake up call, get your acts together and get the hell outta there? I hate to sound insensitive, but that's the way it is. Are you waiting for the governors of your respective states to come bulldoze you back home before you get it right? I'm really sorry, but you've chosen to remain in the North. So prepare yourself for the violence that comes with it. Don't come wailing on the media. A word is enough for the wise. |
Tupac Shakur will return. |
I honestly thought the P-Square album was monotonous and no different from their previous efforts. |
ONE NIGERIA!!! Wetin naa? Una no want am again? ![]() You forgot to add that during the events of 1967-1970, we were branded 'oil-greedy thieves' by the other zones when we tried to pull out. So why una dey complain now? All for the sake of the post of 'Minister of Finance', some people did a 180 degree turn on their previous stance, and began to peddle all kinds of propaganda regarding that war. So why you dey complain now? The wise never forgive and forget; they only forgive and learn. And we Igbos have learned that we have no allies in Nigeria except our Ibibio/Efik/Eket/Annang/Ekoi brothers, and frankly, that's all we need. We've learnt how to get around in this 'One Nigeria', and we're going to keep giving 'em hell and playing the role of spoilers till the country implodes in a seismic blast of violence. We've learned, and we are so going to keep shoving the ONE NIGERIA down all your throats! No be wetin una want again? And come 2015, I would urge all my fellow Igbo brothers to rally around the most illiterate, bitter, hateful, racist Islamic fundamentalist Northerner we can find. No be ONE NIGERIA all of una dey ask for? |
Aye aye! ![]() |
Oga mi, you dey vex ooo! ![]() |
From dayokanu: Foolish talk is what you expect from IgbosI really hate to rain on your parade, but the critic is Yoruba. Then again, I guess you've just been blinded by your ethnic hate and inferiority complex to see that one ![]() |
I still fail to see how this thread has anything to do with Igbos, unless the OP and his group band of laughably unintelligent minions are as insecure as I've always suspected they are. So, a Yoruba brother like yourself posts a critique of a Yoruba governor of yours, and the next thing you do is begin to post pictures of an airport to justify your delusions and latent emptiness? Even the so called people who claim to live in the US also join in on the dance of shame. If you haven't realized, this is ethic illiteracy at its peak. I guess it properly explains the saying that you may take the pig out of the bush, but you can never take the bush off the pig. A sad state of events, I must say. But don't let me discourage you sha. You may carry on with your dance of shame. But trust me, the joke's on you ![]() |
You go fear 'commercial jalopy train' naa! ![]() |
Even if this man wins as Class Prefect, appeal court go still sack am. |
oyb:Habaaa! Agreed, he was very ignorant in BB3, but he long apologized for the controversial views, and came back a better man in Big Brother 5, ultimately winning the money. Hey, people learn. |
Not yet. Build the refineries first. You can't install a Formula 1 race car engine on a 1953 Volkswagen Beetle with no tyres, can you? |
Anyway, congs to Uti. Did you know Uti is my homeboy? We're both from Delta State, and even from the same Ndokwa. We even attended the same Igbinedion Education Centre (secondary school) in Benin, although he was a year ahead. Okay, enough famzing for one day ![]() |
Meeehn, that second picture looks weird as hell! |
Not quite what I'd call an 'economically healthy' decision, no offence. |
